PENGARUH KEPEMIMPINAN KEPALA DESA, KOMPETENSI APARAT DESA DAN PARTISIPASI MASYARAKAT TERHADAP PENGELOLAAN DANA DESA DI DESA HILINA’A KECAMATAN GUNUNGSITOLI

This study examines the influence of village head leadership, village apparatus competence and community participation on village fund management in Hilina'a Village, Gunungsitoli District, Gunungsitoli City. To answer the research objectives, three hypotheses were formulated, namely leadership, competence and community participation in managing village funds. The research approach used is quantitative. Data was collected using a questionnaire, of the 61 questionnaires distributed to the apparatus and the Hilina'a village community, 57 questionnaires were returned. Hypothesis testing, used regression analysis using SPSS version 22.00. Before testing the hypothesis, the validity, reliability and classical assumptions were tested first. The results of this study indicate that leadership, competence and community participation have a positive and significant effect on the management of village fund

The Effect of Capital Structure on Profitability of Electricity Companies In Southeast Asia

Capital structure is increasingly important in determining the optimal combination of funding for investment needs that can increase firm value from profitability. The study aims to examine the effect of capital structure on profitability of electricity companies in Southeast Asia. The study used multiple regression model represented by pooled least square to calculate 48-panel data from the annual financial report during the time period of 2009-2016. We utilized short-term debt to total assets (STD), long-term debt to total assets (LTD), total debt to total assets (TD), and debt to equity ratio (DER) as proxies of capital structure (independent variables). Operating income margin (OIM), return on asset (ROA), and return on equity (ROE) were the profitability proxies (dependent variables). Firm size and firm age were used as control variables in the study. The results of this study indicate that STD and LTD have a negative relationship that consequently has significant effect on LTD and OIM. Other than positive and negative relationships between the capital structure (TD and DER) and profitability, this study also finds that TD and DER have positive significant influence on OIM and ROE, but have negative insignificant relation with ROA. Thus, it is necessary to optimize the capital structure by adjusting the target of capital structure that can provide a balance on the marginal cost and marginal benefit

IMPLEMENTASI P5 (PROJEK PENGUATAN PROFIL PELAJAR PANCASILA) PADA KURIKULUM MERDEKA BELAJAR DALAM PEMBELAJARAN ILMU PENGETAHUAN ALAM

In the academic year 2022/2023, the Indonesian government ratified and commenced the implementation of a new curriculum resulting from the refinement of the previous curriculum, namely the "Merdeka Belajar" curriculum. The "Merdeka Belajar" curriculum was developed to be more flexible, focusing on essential content, character development, and competencies. Within the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) in the "Merdeka Belajar" Curriculum, there is a project-based extracurricular activity designed to reinforce efforts in achieving competencies and character traits according to the Pancasila student profile, formulated based on graduation competency standards. With the introduction of this new program, a review is needed regarding the implementation results of P5 from the perspective of specific subjects, namely natural sciences. For example, the implementation of P5 at MTs Negeri 2 Jember is still considered unfamiliar and has recently been enforced. Through observation, event monitoring, and interviews with relevant parties, the expected results are anticipated to be beneficial for subsequent learning. All stages have been executed successfully, leading to the conclusion that this community service activity has effectively enhanced the competence of teachers in carrying out the Pancasila student profile strengthening project. The project encompasses understanding, design, documentation, reporting, as well as evaluation and follow-up actions with satisfactory outcomes.  AbstrakPada tahun ajaran 2022/2023 pemerintah Indonesia mengesahkan dan mulai memberlakukan kurikulum baru hasil pengembangan dari penyempurnaan dari kurikulum sebelumnya yakni kurikulum merdeka belajar. Kurikulum merdeka belajar ini dikembangkan sebagai kurikulum yang lebih fleksibel, berfokus pada materi esensial, pengembangan karakter, dan kompetensi. Dalam Projek penguatan profil pelajar pancasila (P5) dalam Kurikulum Merdeka belajar adalah kegiatan kokurikuler berbasis projek yang dirancang untuk menguatkan upaya pencapaian kompetensi dan karakter sesuai dengan profil pelajar pancasila yang disusun berdasarkan standart kompetensi lulusan. Dengan adanya program baru, perlu adanya peninjauan terkait hasil pengimplemetasian P5 dari dari sudut mata pelajaran tertentu yakni ilmu pengetahuan alam. Seperti halnya, yang pelaksanaan p5 di mts negeri 2 jember yang maasih tergolong asing dan baru saja diberlakukan. Dengan observasi, mengamati kejadian, mewawancarai pihak terkait, maka hasil yang diharapkan pun juga dapat bermanfaat dalam pembelajaran berikutnya. Semua tahapan telah dilaksanakan dengan baik, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan pengabdian ini berhasil meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam melaksanakan proyek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila. Proyek ini mencakup pemahaman, perancangan, dokumentasi, pelaporan, serta evaluasi dan tindak lanjut dengan hasil yang memuaskan

Pengaruh mekanisme Corporate Governance, Profitability, dan Firm Size terhadap pengungkapan Corporate Social Responsibility

In this study was conducted to determine the effect of corporate governance mechanisms, profitability and firm size on the disclosure of corporate social responsibility (CSR) of Indonesian Stock Exchange companies for the 2018-2020 period. The independent variables in this study include the audit committee, independent board of commissioners, foreign ownership, public ownership, ROA, ROE and firm size as well as growth control variables, debt equity ratio and current assets. Meanwhile, the disclosure of CSR is used as the dependent variable. The sampling technique was carried out by purposive sampling so that 36 companies were used as research samples. The data analysis technique used in this study is panel data regression analysis, where the results obtained by each variable on CSR disclosure are as follows; the audit committee has a positive and insignificant effect, the independent board of commissioners has a positive and insignificant effect, foreign ownership has a negative and insignificant effect, public ownership has a positive and insignificant effect, ROA has a negative and insignificant effect, ROE has a positive and insignificant effect, and firm size positive and significant effect. The results of the simultaneous test conducted show that the audit committee, independent board of commissioners, foreign ownership, public ownership, ROA, ROE and firm size have no effect on CSR disclosure.CSR disclosur

Determinant factors affecting the value of manufacturing companies in indonesia

This study aims to examine the effect of investment decisions, funding decisions, and dividend policies on firm value of Indonesian manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2014 to 2018. The research sample consisted of 23 companies with 115 observations conducted during the period. Manufacturers, which process raw materials into semi-finished or finished goods, are identical with factories that use machinery, equipment, engineering techniques, and labour (Heizer & Render, 2015). The study found that partially the effect of investments with the proxy investment opportunity set (IOS) on firm value was positive and significant. It demonstrates the ability of a company to obtain and manage capital that ultimately has a positive impact on firm value. This study found that the effect of funding decisions on firm value was negative and significant. While the effect of dividend policy on firm value was proved to be positive but not significant. The study selected firm size as the control variable that had a positive but insignificant effect on firm value
