Synchronized Music Ads
A method for transitioning from one audio music track to another is disclosed. The method uses characteristics of the audio such as beat, volume, or tone of a first audio and a second and transitions between the two audio streams by selecting an appropriate ad to play between them. The selected ad is synced by matching its beginning to the characteristics of the first audio. The audio stream transitions from the first audio to the ad, and near its end the ad is again synced with those of the second audio. The stream transitions from the ad to the second audio and continues on. The method can be used to smoothly sequence any kind of playlist and provides a way to achieve a smooth audio experience with ads, by selection, modification, or smoothing and transition effects

A study on the black clam villorita cyprinoides (Gray) as protein source in prawn diet.
With the situation that the production by capture fisheries has
reached or is reaching a state of maximum exploitation , it is rightly presumed that there would be a decline in production. In context with this situation, aquaculture has been found to be a supplementary source to cater to the increasing world needs for fisheries products. This has led to the upsurge in aquaculture practices in many countries including India
Rare Chimaeroid and Elasmobranch fishes from the continental slope off the West Coast of India
During exploratory trawling from the upper continental slope in depths between 180 and 450 metres off the West Coast of India, specimens of the Chimreroid fish Neoharriotta pinnata (Schnackenbeck) and the rare elasmobranchs Echinorhinus b"UC11S (Bonnaterrc) and Atractophorus armatus Gilchrist have been obtained. All three are new distributional records for Indian Seas and they are described and illustrate

Frequent strandings of dolphins and whales along the gulf of Mannar coast
The present observations no specific reason could be attributed towards the frequent strandlngs of marine mammals in the Gulf of Meinnar region. It Is inferred that any one factor as given above or more would have
contributed towards the strandlngs. As the Indian Ocean is declared as a sanctuary for whales, the frequent stranding of whales eind dolphins emphasise the need for Intensive study on conservation measures. The scientific Information on the extent of strandlngs of marine mammals all along the coast needs consolidation
Studies on demersal fishes of the deep neritic waters and the continental slope 3. On the occurrence of the oil fish Ruvettus pretiosus Cocco (Gempylidae : Pisces) on the upper continental slope along the south-west coast of India
A specimen of Ruvettus pretiosus Cocco (Gempylidae : Pisces) measuring 310 mm in total length was obtained in trawl collections from 85 fathoms in the Quilon Bank (9┬░04'N, 75┬░31 'E.) on 7th November 1968. The paper embodies a description with illustrations of this species which has not been described from the Indian Seas upto now
Hypotheses on the mudbanks
The report gives a critical appraisal of the various
hypotheses on the formation and the characteristic calmness
of the mudbanks, in the light of the author's findings, with
special reference to the Alleppey mudbank. A detailed
account on various types of mudbanks along the southwest
coast of India is also presented

time from the Indian seas based on one specimen 231 mm total length, collected
from 40-m depth at 9┬░35'N 76┬░05'E along the southwest coast of India, The species
