Participant's Experience with Biofeedback: A Phenomenological Study

This research was used to identify participants’ perceptions towards biofeedback on their physical health prior to, during, and after biofeedback participation. Understanding the ability of biofeedback to treat HTN is very important. It is also crucial to know what participant’s thoughts and feelings are towards biofeedback therapy in order to understand the psychological and emotional elements that participants experience during their participation. In this phenomenological qualitative study, nine participants of paced breathing biofeedback exercises were interviewed to discuss how their thoughts and feelings towards biofeedback were impacted throughout the course of their participation. PT. ABC adalah sebuah perusahaan distributor minuman yang memasarkan produknya ke wilayah Jawa Barat. Seluruh produk makanan dan minuman yang dipasarkan PT. ABC diperoleh langsung dari supplier produk tersebut. Permasalahan yang terjadi di perusahaan adalah layout produk dalam gudang saat ini masih belum baik. Penempatan suatu jenis produk di atas palet tidak memiliki lokasi yang pasti. Produk yang baru datang diletakkan dimana saja dimana terdapat palet yang kosong atau di area dekat pintu masuk. Akibatnya produk yang keluar dari gudang belum tentu produk yang masuk ke gudang lebih dahulu. Hal ini menyebabkan ada produk-produk yang tidak terdistribusikan sehingga produk mengalami kadaluarsa di dalam gudang. Metode perbaikan layout yang diusulkan oleh penulis adalah metode Dedicated Storage yang mengatur penempatan produk berdasarkan minimasi jarak tempuh antara lokasi penempatan produk dengan pintu masuk gudang. Dengan menerapkan layout usulan, pengambilan produk menjadi lebih mudah dan juga terlihat rapih. Selection of hearing PPE in accordance with new Ordinance on Protection of Workers from Noise at Work and Directive 2003/10/EC is facilitated by use of one of the calculation methods: octave band, HML and SNR. However, a selection of optimum PPE is much more than that, as it is critical that workers wish and can use protectors during the entire exposure time. In a very noisy environment limiting factor of protection is much more time of non-wearing of PPE than level of protection it provides. Inherent and treated flame retardancy of clothing

Pitanje vatrootpornosti vrlo je važno kod odjeće za zaštitu od topline i plamena. Termini inherentna vatrootpornost i tretirana vatrootpornost, koje korisnici koriste pri specificiranju svojstava takve odjeće, nisu dovoljno jasni pa ih je potrebno specificirati na način koji će nedvojbeno opisivati svojstva koja se žele dobiti. U radu se opisuju najpoznatiji materijali koji se koriste za izradu vatrootporne odjeće, njihov sastav i svojstva, a navode se i komercijalni nazivi pojedinih materijala, budući da su pod tim nazivima korisnicima poznati na tržištu. Da bi se izbjegle nesuglasice između korisnika i dobavljača, predlaže se da se svojstva vatrootpornosti definiraju korištenjem standardnih testova uz navođenje željene trajnosti svojstva vatrootpornosti i uvjeta pod kojima se ona ostvaruje.The issue of flame retardancy is very important in clothing protecting from heat and flame. The terms inherent and treated flame retardancy used by the end users when specyfying the characteristics of such clothing are not clear enough. It is therefore very important that they are specified in such a way that they unquestionably specify the features which the writers of the specification wish to achieve. In this paper various wellknown materials used for the manufacturing of flame retardant clothing and their composition and characteristics are described. Commercial names of most popular proprietary materials are also mentioned, as such materials on the market are known by their registered names. In order to avoid misunderstandings and inconsistencies between the end users and the suppliers in practice, it is suggested that the characteristics of flame retardancy are defined by the use of standard tests and by specifying the requested durability and use conditions in which flame retardant features have to be realized
