Foreign direct investment (FDI) inflows are used to address the economic problems, such as poverty and agriculture growth. Encouraging the FDI inflows in agriculture is the most effective way to address poverty and food deficit issues in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). Generally, this study attempts to examine the three-way relationships among FDI inflows in agriculture, agriculture growth and poverty. Specifically, the objectives of the study are to investigate the role of agriculture growth and poverty to increase FDI inflows in agriculture; to determine the impacts of FDI inflows in agriculture and poverty on agriculture growth; to examine the influences of FDI inflows in agriculture and agriculture growth on the poverty levels; and to test the relationships among FDI inflows in agriculture, agriculture growth and poverty. The Fixed Effects Model and the system Generalized Method of Moments were used to empirically analyze the variables of interest. This study used panel data of 31 selected OIC countries for the period of 2000-2015. The framework of the study is based on the Keynesian and liberal framework, the Cobb–Douglas production framework and the Dunning Ownership, Location, and Internationalization (OLI) framework. The findings of the study show that agriculture growth and poverty have a significant relationship with the FDI inflows in agriculture; FDI inflows in agriculture and poverty influence agriculture growth; and agriculture growth and FDI inflows in agriculture have a negative significant relationship with the poverty. Moreover, FDI inflows in agriculture have bi-directional causal relationships between agriculture growth and poverty. Agriculture growth has a significant effect on FDI inflows in agriculture and poverty. There is a bi-directional causal relationship from poverty to agriculture growth. The findings of this study suggest a new trade policy recommendations for attracting FDI inflows in agriculture, whether it is targeting on agriculture growth or poverty reduction

A secondary data was used to evaluate the profitability ratios included in PNB annual reports from year 2001 until 2005. Profitability ratios consist of net profit margin, gross profit margin, operating profit margin, return on asset and return on equity. The results reveal that profitability performance of Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB) is not efficient due to low on sales and high on cost for the years 2001 to 2005. For better performance in future, PNB need to focus merely on operational efficiency and operational effectiveness which might directly influence the survival of a company (Chien and Song, 2004)

High mobility rate among women has made them more vulnerable in the road environment. Lifestyle changes have urged many women to increase their mobility due to accommodate current demand. Therefore, women are exposed to the risk of accidents as many of them are populated in the road environment. However, most studies and instrumentation on-road environments are universal and not specifically targeting women's perception and anticipation preventing road accidents. Hence, the current study is developing and validating instrumentation of women's perception in Malaysia Road Environment. The sample of this study is 93 women with various age numbers. Out of 7 constructs, 6 were found most reliable and valid with the Cronbach Alpha value > 0.75. The present research provides details of factor analysis results, composite reliability, average variance extract, and reliability analysis which all concluded that the internal consistency of WPRE was not violated. Results reveal items developed are suitable to be adapted in future research with some modification. Finally, this research contributes to developing and validating women’s perception in a road accident which is reliable and valid for measuring WPRE

The world of education is rich in teaching strategies that involve a variety of methods and resources. Each teaching strategy has its own characteristics and is determined based on the situation and circumstances of students. This diversity of teaching strategies makes the implementation of teaching by teachers is not static and always dynamic according to current needs. Teachers who are creative and sensitive to current changes will be able to adapt the right teaching strategies to students. Teaching strategies are not fixed, they can be modified as needed. This statement is in line with the existing needs in special education. With different levels of ability of students with special needs, then teaching strategies should also be different and creative. Of course, the appropriate strategy must be chosen to ensure that students receive the knowledge that is presented well. This review article discusses two selected teaching strategies, namely non directive teaching (NDT) and enhancing self esteem (ESE) which are seen to be suitable for special education. The discussion in this article is hoped to provide a brief overview to subsequent researchers in conducting further studies
