Influencia del feedback específico y socioafectivo sobre la discriminación de género en las clases de educación física

Investigaciones previas han demostrado la importancia del feedback en la enseñanza y su efecto sobre los estudiantes en las clases de educación física. El propósito de este estudio ha sido determinar la influencia del feedback socioafectivo y técnico en la discriminación de género percibida por el alumnado durante las clases de educación física. Ochenta y cuatro estudiantes de 5º de Educación Primaria fueron objeto de diferentes tratamientos de feedback durante 6 sesiones y cumplimentaron el Cuestionario de Percepción de Igualdad-Discriminación en Educación Física (CPIDEF). Los resultados obtenidos muestran una mayor percepción de discriminación de género por parte del alumnado después de la intervención, independientemente del sexo y del tipo de feedback recibido. Por sexos, los chicos parecen estar más habituados a recibir atención y refuerzos por parte del profesorado, advirtiendo la ausencia de los mismos como una clara discriminación, algo que no sucede con las chicas.Previous researches have shown the importance of feedback in learning, and its impact on students in physical education lessons. The aim of this study was to determine the influence of social-affective and technical feedback, in the gender discrimination noticed by the student body during those classes. Eighty-four students of 6th year were the subject of diverse applications of feedback during 6 sessions, and they completed the Cuestionario de Percepción de Igualdad-Discriminación en Educación Física (CPIDEF) – Questionnaire on Perceptions of Equality-Discrimination in Physical Education (QPEDPE) in English – . The obtained results display a greater perception of gender discrimination by the student body after this intervention, independently of the sex and the type of feedback received. By sex, the boys seem to be more used to receive attention and reinforcement by the faculty, advising of the lack of those as a clear discrimination, something that does not occurs to girls

Stevens-Johnson syndrome and toxic epidermal necrolysis: a review

Stevens Johnson Syndrome (SJS) and Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis (TEN) are considered a single entity with variability in the extent of the lesions, characterized by erythema multiforme that may involve mucosa. Severe cutaneous reactions secondary to medications are classified according to the area of epidermal detachment. The activation of cytotoxic T cells and macrophages is mediated mainly by IL-2 and interferon gamma secreted by Th1 lymphocytes, and the activation of eosinophils and B lymphocytes in IgE is mediated by secreted IL-4, IL-5, IL-10 and IL13 by B lymphocytes. The topography of SJS is predominantly central, affecting the trunk and sometimes a generalized dissemination is shown that affects a body surface area of less than 10%, characterized by irregular violaceous erythematous macules of target shooting, which can form confluent blisters. TEN is characterized by a skin detachment greater than 30% of the body surface, whose predominant lesion is diffuse erythema with individual macules, which give rise to detachment surfaces greater than 5 cm. The treatment is symptomatic, nonspecific, and aimed at avoiding complications, carried out in specialized intensive care units, due to ignorance of the pathogenesis. Integral management with different therapeutic alternatives can represent a crucial part in the multisystemic management of SJS and TEN

Antebrachial microvascular flap for reconstruction of the pelvic limb: case report

Complex defects in the soft tissues of the foot and ankle caused by high-energy trauma, infection, cancer or diabetes require rapid and effective treatment which decreases the risk of infection, bone healing time, hospital stay and number total of surgical approaches. Authors report a clinical case of a 23-year-old female patient who suffers high-energy trauma due to a motorcycle accident which causes exposure of the distal third of the tibia, loss of the tibial joint face, and loss of tissue throughout the region of the malleolus medial of the right pelvic extremity. Tissue transfer to the pelvic limb is performed using left contralateral radial antebrachial free flap as donor area. This case report aims to emphasize the key aspects of the high energy trauma approach by using microvascular flaps, as well as the satisfactory evolution of the patient that directly affects the prognosis for life and function

Vocabulario de la sociedad civil, la ruralidad y los movimientos sociales en América Latina

El Vocabulario de la Sociedad Civil, la Ruralidad y los Movimientos Sociales en América Latina tiene como objetivo desarrollar vocablos relacionados con temas de gran trascendencia para la vida colectiva de la población Latinoamericana; pretende introducir a estudiantes, personas del ámbito académico y activistas en la comprensión de estas categorías de análisis. A través de la mirada de 70 especialistas que participaron en este vocabulario, es posible comprender muchos de los términos que se utilizan dentro de la investigación social y áreas relacionadas con las ciencias políticas, ambientales y rurales, a partir de una mayor explicación y detalle. Es por ello que se inserta este trabajo desde una mirada colectiva y amplia de los conceptos que se exponen. En este libro podrá encontrar las ideas de varios autores y autoras de distintas universidades, con una visión multi, inter y transdisciplinaria. El esfuerzo que se realizó para conjuntar varios términos y analizar su compleja red de interpretaciones, permitirá que este manuscrito pueda ser consultado por estudiantes, personas del ámbito científico-académico, y ciudadanía; porque contiene el estado del arte, la historia del paulatino avance de múltiples conceptos y su vigencia en el contexto actual
