    Salah satu teknologi yang sedang berkembang saat ini adalah speech recognition yang mengolah suara menjadi suatu perintah yang dapat dikenal oleh suatu mesin sehingga memungkinkan seseorang melakukan remote pada aplikasi yang ada pada komputer dengan menggunakan suara yang masuk melalui microphones. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu membuat Media Player Winamp dapat dioperasikan menggunakan suara dengan Algoritma Hidden Markov Model. Sinyal suara dicuplik sehingga menjadi sinyal digital kemudian dinormalisasi dan diproses dengan preprocessing signal menggunakan metode LPC (Linear Predective Coding) selanjutnya dianalisis dan dicari nilai probabilitas yang maksimum sehingga bisa dikenali menggunakan Hidden Markov Model (HMM).     Rice plant needs essential and non-essential nutrients to grow. However, the use of inorganic fertilizers may affect the soil microbe community which expected to increase the availability of nutrients for both plants and microbes, a condition that could control several types of diseases. Many efforts were made to find alternative fertilizer which environmentally friendly, for instance by exploiting microorganisms such as endophytic bacteria associated with plant tissue or seed plant cell. This research aimed to determine the effect of endophytic bacteria, the concentration of IAA, and the combination of endophytic bacteria with a concentration of IAA, on the growth of rice plant. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Soil Biology, The Soil Research Institute located in Cimanggu Bogor from December 2015 to February 2016. This research was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with two factors, i.e., the inoculant of endophytic bacteria (2.2 KT, KR 6, and I CM), and the concentration of IAA (0, 0.01, 0.1, 0.5, and 1 ppm). Three replicates were applied for each treatment of the inoculant combined with different doses of IAA. The variety of rice plants tested were Inpari 13 and IR 64. The potential test has been applied to determine the factor with the highest yield of the rice plant growth. The parameters observed were the height of the rice plant, the length of the rice plant roots, and the total weight of the plant including root. The results showed the inocula of endophytic bacteria alone had no effect to increase growth for both IR 64 and Inpari 13 rice variety. The IAA concentration of 0.1 ppm was able to increase the height of rice plant and the length of rice plant root for both IR 64 rice plant and Inpari 13. The combined treatment of KR 6 bacterial inoculum with 1 ppm of IAA concentration was effectively promoted rice plant growth for both IR 64 and Inpari 13

    This research is motivated by a decline in motorcycle sales produced by PT. Yamaha Indonesia MFG in the 2014-2018 period. In this research there was a decrease in the decision on the power of interest in customer purchases on PT. Yamaha Indonesia MFG so that later can be analyzed in the formulation of this paper, that how customer take motorcycle purchase decisions amid the phenomenon of competition and increasingly crowded sales rivalries. The purpose of this research was to analyze the influence of motivation, perceived quality, and customer attitudes toward decisions in purchasing Yamaha motorbikes. This research uses quantitative and qualitative methods. The respondents in this research were 100 people who could meet one to five criteria consisting of; initiator (initiator), influencer (influencer), decision making (decider), purchase (buyer), user (user) motorcycle production PT. Yamaha Indonesia MFG. There are 3 hypotheses formulated and tested using the Regression Analysis method. In qualitative analysis it is obtained from the interpretation of processing data by providing information and explanation. In the results of this research shows the results of Motivation, Quality Perception, and Customer Attitudes have a relationship that has a significant impact on Purchasing Decisions

    Girl Trafficking: Causes, Experiences and Challenges encountered A case of Arusha Municipality

    Persistence of human trafficking in Tanzania is reported to be exacerbated by many factors including patriarchal systems, poverty, peer influences, job opportunities and availability of social services to mention a few. Deprivation of capabilities however, has been thought to catalyze the situation more as compared to others. In a research conducted in Arusha Municipality involving girls who are victims of human trafficking and other stakeholders;  it was found out that destitution of rural families, forced marriages, peer influences, broken families and gender based violence were among the root causes which rendered these young girls become preys to traffickers.  Further the study found out that these young girls faced a lot of challenges including being overworked and being unpaid, being tortured physically and sometimes emotionally. Complementing these challenges the girls lamented on sexual abuse and even disease which they encounter. In combating the situation the study recommends more drastic measures to the Government and other stakeholders including increasing awareness in Human Trafficking to the general public and encourages victims to report the cases. Additionally it recommends that children who are most vulnerable and at high risk of being trafficked be checked regularly and if possible be supplied with the basic needs.     Keberlanjutan Sistem Budi Daya Ternak Sapi Perah Pada Peternakan Rakyat Di Kabupaten Bogor

    EnglishDairy farming system in Bogor Regency deals with threatening problems. This research aims to assess and to analyze sustainability of dairy farming system of smallholding farms in Bogor Regency. The respondents consisted of dairy farm area (Kunak) and smallholding farms in Cisarua District. Approach used in this study was a rapid appraisal for dairy farm system (Rap-Sibusape) using a multidimensional scaling (MDS) method. Results showed that smallholders in Cisarua and Kunak had index values of system dairy farms sustainability of 51.25 and 54.12, respectively. It indicated that the two areas are quite sustainable. Analysis five sustainable dimensions (ecology, economy, socio-culture, infrastructure technology, and institutional law) showed that ecology was sustainable on Kunak, and economy and socio-culture were not sustainable on both Kunak and dairy farm in Cisarua. Leverage analysis results showed that there were 15 out of 45 attributes influencing the sustainability index system. There were six key factors strongly influenced the system with low dependence among factors, i.e. (i) milk prices, (ii) feed carrying capacity, (iii) development cooperation, (iv) input subsidies, (v) micro finance, and (vi) socialization work. Improving dairy cattle farming in Bogor Regency requires sustainability index value enhancement of 15 sensitive attributes focused on 6 key factors affecting the dairy cattle farming system.IndonesianPeternakan sapi perah di Kabupaten Bogor menghadapi permasalahan yang mengancam keberlanjutan sistem, seperti (i) keterbatasan pakan hijauan, (ii) penurunan jumlah peternak, (iii) rendahnya mutu susu, (iv) penyakit ternak, dan (v) terbatasnya sarana-prasarana agribisnis. Oleh karena itu, perlu dikaji status keberlanjutan sistem peternakan sapi perah di Kabupaten Bogor untuk memperoleh manfaat optimal dari kinerja sistem. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai dan menganalisis keberlanjutan sistem peternakan sapi perah rakyat di Kabupaten Bogor yang diwakili oleh Kawasan Usaha Ternak (Kunak) dan peternakan rakyat Cisarua dengan metode rapid appraisal sistem peternakan sapi perah (Rap-Sibusape) menggunakan pendekatan multidimensional scaling (MDS). Penilaian Rap-Sibusape menunjukkan Kunak dan peternakan rakyat Cisarua memiliki rataan nilai indeks keberlanjutan sebesar 51,25 dan 54,12 sehingga berkategori cukup berkelanjutan. Analisis lima dimensi keberlanjutan (ekologi, ekonomi, sosial-budaya, teknologi-infrastruktur, dan hukum-kelembagaan) menunjukkan dimensi ekologi tidak berkelanjutan pada Kunak, dimensi ekonomi dan sosial-budaya tidak berkelanjutan pada Kunak dan peternakan rakyat Cisarua. Analisis leverage menunjukkan terdapat 15 atribut dari 45 atribut berpengaruh terhadap indeks keberlanjutan sistem peternakan sapi perah. Analisis prospektif menunjukkan terdapat 6 faktor kunci berpengaruh kuat terhadap sistem dengan tingkat ketergantungan antarfaktor yang rendah namun berpengaruh besar terhadap sistem. Enam faktor kunci tersebut yakni: (i) harga susu 5 tahun terakhir, (ii) daya dukung pakan, (iii) perkembangan koperasi, (iv) tingkat subsidi input, (v) lembaga keuangan mikro, dan (vi) sosialisasi pekerjaan. Pengembangan sistem peternakan sapi perah Kabupaten Bogor memerlukan peningkatan nilai indeks keberlanjutan melalui pengelolaan dan perbaikan 15 atribut sensitif dengan fokus pada perbaikan 6 faktor kunci yang berpengaruh terhadap sistem peternakan sapi perah

    Implementation of Patient Safety Culture Survey in Jombang Islamic Hospital

    Patient safety is the indicator of healthcare service quality. To improve patient-safety culture in hospital, conducting a survey is important to determine which dimension should be managed. Jombang Islamic Hospital (Rumah Sakit Islam Jombang) has an established Patient Safety Team since 2011, but the patient-safety culture is still low because only three incidents were reported in 2015. This study aims to measure patient-safety culture in hospital to identify the factors that need to be improved in hospital unit. This was a descriptive analytic study. Primary data were collected in 2016 using an Indonesian-translated version of Hospital Survey on Patient SafetyCulture (HSOPSC) questionnaire. The HSOPSC measures 12 patient safety dimensions. The respondents were 117 Jombang Islamic Hospital staff members who work in hospital unit that gives a direct medical service. Questionnaire's final response rate was 91%. The overall average positive response in Jombang Islamic Hospital was 68%, slightly higher than the average positive response for the AHRQ database report in 2016 (65%). Pharmacy had the lowest positive response (54%), while Obstetric and Operation Room had the highest positive response (83%). The dimension that received the highest percentage of positive response was ‘Teamwork within units’ that reached 94% and the lowest was ‘Staffing’ with only 34%. This study concludes that the staff members feel positive toward patient-safety culture. It is important to give an intervention to hospital unit and dimensions that received low percentage of positive response in order to achieve better healthcare service quality.     Simulasi Numerik Perambatan Banjir Akibat Keruntuhan Bendungan Dengan Metode Volume Hingga-Cell Center

    . This paper describes a numerical model to simulate the phenomenon of flooding due to dam collapse. This phenomenon needs to be studied because of catastrophic dam collapse could inflict damage and cause casualties. Numerical model developed is based on cell-centered finite volume method with explicit time step that works on an irregular grid system. The method used by this volume, which was first developed to solve the Euler equations Compressible which is further modified to solve the equation St. Vennant two-dimensional hydrodynamic equations derived from the shallow waters equations. In this numerical model, the discretization space is solved using the method of volume to cell centered scheme (cell-centered finite volume method) and the integration time is solved using the Runge-Kutta method stratified. To dampen numerical oscillations that may arise due to lack of diffusion terms was overcome using artificial numerical dissipation. For wall boundary conditions, no flow through the wall condition was implemented, and for flow boundary conditions, the method of flow characteristics was implemented. Comparative study of the results of the model application were done for case-flow due to the collapse of the dam and surface runoff. Comparison of the results with the results of experiments and other numerical model results shows a good results agreement. This paper also discusses the results of application of the model to predict the propagation of the flow due to the hypothetical case of a dam collapse disaster Lawe-lawe dam.
