What role does corporate governance play in the intention to use cloud computing technology?

This paper aims to investigate the factors which promote the adoption of cloud-based technology. It strives for a better understanding of the impact of corporate governance on the adoption of this technology. This study concentrated on executives in companies where the use of cloud computing may give a competitive advantage. The main contribution of this work is to propose a model for the influence of corporate governance and other factors that determine the adoption of this technology. A questionnaire was prepared after taking into consideration the reviewed literature. The sample consisted of 164 technology companies from Southern Spain that already use the new economic models for digital solutions. The methodology used to analyze the structural model was the Structural Equation Model (SEM). The results of the survey showed the influence of Corporate Governance and the procedures and practices of the organization on the adoption of cloud computing and the associated business model. Depresión y rendimiento académico en los alumnos del cuarto y quinto grado de educación secundaria de la Institución Educativa Fe y Alegría 26, San Juan de Lurigancho, Lima, 2012

La presente investigación tiene como objetivo determinar la relación entre la Depresión y el Rendimiento Académico de los alumnos de 4° y 5° de secundaria de la I.E Fe y Alegría N° 26, San Juan de Lurigancho, Lima. Fueron evaluados 214 alumnos de secundaria a quienes se les aplicó el cuestionario Test de Zung en cuanto a la variable depresión y para la variable Rendimiento Académico se tomó en cuenta los resultados de las actas de estudio. El tipo de estudio de esta investigación es Básico, con enfoque cuantitativo. La investigación es descriptiva – correlacional y se aplicó el diseño no experimental de corte transversal, descriptivo y correlacional. Para la contrastación de las hipótesis se utilizó la prueba no paramétrica RHO de Spearmann para establecer la correlación entre las dos variables de estudio. Esta prueba permitió analizar la correlación de ambas variables con la intención de comprobar la hipótesis de investigación y verificar si existe relación significativa entre ellas. Al contrastar la hipótesis general se obtuvo un coeficiente de correlación no paramétrico de Rho de Spearman de 0.837, coeficiente positivo y fuerte con un nivel de significancia, concluyéndose que sí existe relación significativa entre la variable Depresión y la variable Rendimiento Académico de los alumnos 4° y 5° de secundaria de la I.E Fe y Alegría N° 26, San Juan de Lurigancho, Lima, por lo cual se confirma la hipótesis planteada y se descarta la nula

Powerful knowledge, transposition/transformation and ICT: an empirical study across school subjects in primary education

Artículo de investigación[EN] This article presents a study that analyses the types of activity used to teach the curriculum in primary education, and the use made accordingly of digital and analogue resources. The research’s purpose was to discover whether there are any differentiated patterns of activity in the teaching of these subjects, and whether they are linked to the use of ICT/non-ICT resources. A multiple case study was conducted with 10 primary teachers, with three schooldays being recorded over the 2018–2019 school year, which provided 132 hours of recordings. The research design involved the use of mixed methods. The results reveal a differentiated use of patterns of activity linked to the subjects that make up the curriculum in primary education, as well as a differentiated use of ICT and non-ICT resources when teaching these subjects. UMBRALES DEL AGUA FRENTE A LA ESCASEZ CON BASE A LA RESILIENCIA URBANA EN LERMA Y SAN MATEO ATENCO, ESTADO DE MÉXICO

México ha cruzado el umbral entre la disponibilidad media a baja, ya que dispone de menos de 5 mil m3 de agua anual por habitante. El trabajo se realza en los municipios Lerma y San Mateo Atenco por la sobreexplotación del acuífero del Valle de Toluca y la demanda de agua por parte de la ciudad de México, lo que ha puesto a los municipios en situación vulnerable a la escasez del agua. Por ello el objetivo es ubicar el umbral aceptable que permita a los municipios tomar medidas estratégicas para mantener disponible el agua ante la creciente demanda de los usuarios. Los resultados obtenidos se refleja en la disponibilidad alta del agua, sin embargo con el paso de los años seguirá disminuyendo, también las acciones realizadas por los habitantes son determinantes para cuidar el agua y una crisis fomenta y refuerza la estabilidad de la ciudad para afrontar la vulnerabilidad y aumentar la resiliencia urbana

Classroom practices and curricular resources in teaching initial mathematical knowledge in Spain

Artículo de Investigación[ES] Este estudio de casos pretende analizar si los profesores seleccionan, combinan y adaptan recursos como una tarea más dentro de la gestión general de sus prácticas de clase. El objetivo es tratar de establecer el papel que los materiales juegan en las clases, concretamente qué enfoque de enseñanza inicial del conocimiento matemático proponen y si este se corresponde con el de las prácticas de clase donde se usan esos materiales. Se grabaron 39 clases de 9 profesores de alumnos de 3, 4 y 5 años sobre las que se aplicó un sistema de análisis de datos cualitativos que permite estudiar las tareas para la enseñanza inicial del conocimiento matemático en las clases y en los materiales. Los resultados apuntan a un ajuste moderado entre prácticas y materiales, dentro de un contexto curricular que guía más que dicta, y con una cultura didáctica bastante consolidada de enseñanza inicial del conocimiento matemático.[EN] This paper aims to analyse whether teachers select, combine and adapt resources as part of the overall management of their classroom practices. The aim of this paper will therefore be to establish the role materials play in the classroom, specifically the pedagogical approach to the initial teaching of mathematical knowledge they propose and the coincidence to the classroom practices where they are used. We worked with 39 recordings of classes of 9 teachers. By applying a qualitative data analysis system that permits analysing the tasks for teaching initial mathematical knowledge in classroom practices and the tasks that are in the materials.
