Channel coding is consistently incorporated to bring in plenteous ovation quality in wireless floating communications transceiver to prevent channel reduction right to inter-symbol postponement, multipath refugee flow, and thermal dish induced by electronic travel devices. Tremendous facilitate and fancy throughput hardware for encoder and decoder could be snug as a bug in a rug in air mail field. Due to the channel acquiring plot, the GOLAY conduct has become a well known of the close but no cigar favourable error-correcting codes. In this freebie, a dressy algorithm has been coming for CRC based encoding step by step diagram, which minus of complete linear feedback incline registers (LFSR). In this super structure, our trade is to raw material a GOLAY conduct based encoder and decoder house per CRC processing technique.A Bloom filter is a efficient contend filter which is chiefly hand me down in distinctive areas. In circumstance that, fancy throughput and silent power cash on barrelhead have been ordained in the Bloom filter architecture. The proposed concern is to study a Bloom filter by the whole of hamming transcend based breakneck dumb thing to do detection and hell to pay methodology and this employment is to recuperate the beg borrow or steal data transmission. The live high on hog filter course of action is to catch a glimpse of the lapse small amount location per the repetitive bits acquire process and to authoritative the error for XOR based outstrip calculation process. The Bloom filter architecture is used to art an adjunct of the hash rate for allocated transmitted data merger and to surge the lapse identification methodology. This rule of thumb is to optimize the decoder process and effectively notice the error location, previously to approve to error by bit reverser interpretation process

A study on errors made by Tamil speaking adult students in using present simple tense in English

    Get PDF
The paper examines the errors made by the Tamil speaking students of South Eastern University of Sri Lanka in using present simple tense in English. It focuses on the errors on the third person singular present tense agreement with morpheme –s and the inter-language grammar influence. The finding suggests that the Tamil speaking English language learners have difficulty in the use of –s due to mother tongue influence. The phonological similarity, omission, incorrect suffixation and substitution are the most common types of errors found in their usage

A study on errors made by tamil speaking adult students in using wh-questions in english

This study investigates the effect of using Wh-questions on the quantity and quality of students in English grammar. Fifty students from different Tamil speaking communities were chosen as the sample of this study. The data comprising 50 Wh-questions with subjective and objective forms was used for this survey. L2 learners often imitate their mother tongue in the use of questions. They use statements for questions. The order of words in sentences, that is, SVO (subject – verb - object) in an affirmative sentence and the position of auxiliaries in interrogative sentences become complicated for Tamil speaking students. The different approaches followed in forming questions for subjective mode and objective mode have become more problematic, especially in simple present. Lack of knowledge on the accurate meaning and appropriate function of question words, incorrect use of order of words have frequently become main causes of errors. I believe that the finding of the present study could provide useful insights to language teachers who teach Wh-questions in English grammar

The high performance of an elliptic curve (EC) crypto system depends efficiently on the arithmetic in the underlying finite field. We have to propose and compare three levels of Galois Field , , and . The proposed architecture is based on Lopez-Dahab elliptic curve point multiplication algorithm, which uses Gaussian normal basis for field arithmetic. The proposed is based on an efficient Montgomery add and double algorithm, also the Karatsuba-Ofman multiplier and Itoh-Tsujii algorithm are used as the inverse component. The hardware design is based on optimized finite state machine (FSM), with a single cycle 193 bits multiplier, field adder, and field squarer. The another proposed architecture is based on applications for which compactness is more important than speed. The FPGA’s dedicated multipliers and carry-chain logic are used to obtain the small data path. The different optimization at the hardware level improves the acceleration of the ECC scalar multiplication, increases frequency and the speed of operation such as key generation, encryption, and decryption. Finally, we have to implement our design using Xilinx XC4VLX200 FPGA device

Uncovering distinct protein-network topologies in heterogeneous cell populations

Background: Cell biology research is fundamentally limited by the number of intracellular components, particularly proteins, that can be co-measured in the same cell. Therefore, cell-to-cell heterogeneity in unmeasured proteins can lead to completely different observed relations between the same measured proteins. Attempts to infer such relations in a heterogeneous cell population can yield uninformative average relations if only one underlying biochemical network is assumed. To address this, we developed a method that recursively couples an iterative unmixing process with a Bayesian analysis of each unmixed subpopulation. Results: Our approach enables to identify the number of distinct cell subpopulations, unmix their corresponding observations and resolve the network structure of each subpopulation. Using simulations of the MAPK pathway upon EGF and NGF stimulations we assess the performance of the method. We demonstrate that the presented method can identify better than clustering approaches the number of subpopulations within a mixture of observations, thus resolving correctly the statistical relations between the proteins. Conclusions: Coupling the unmixing of multiplexed observations with the inference of statistical relations between the measured parameters is essential for the success of both of these processes. Here we present a conceptual and algorithmic solution to achieve such coupling and hence to analyze data obtained from a natural mixture of cell populations. As the technologies and necessity for multiplexed measurements are rising in the systems biology era, this work addresses an important current challenge in the analysis of the derived data.Fil: Wieczorek, Jakob. Background: This is a study aimed at assessing the prevalence of major depressive disorder among persons who attempted suicide. Methods: The study involved 30 persons above 18years of age of both sexes who has attempted suicide in the recent past. An informed consent was obtained from all of them. The prevalence of depression among those suicide attempters was studied based on major ICD- 10 depression inventory. Also, intent rating based on Beck’s suicide intent scale was done to assess the severity of suicide attempt. Questionnaire was given and the details were collected. Results: The prevalence of depression is estimated to be 20%. Regarding the suicidal intent, 13 cases (43.33%) showed high intent for suicide. Conclusions: Prevalence of depression is common among people who attempt suicide. Early diagnosis and intervention will reduce suicide attempts

The voice of the intellect is a soft one but it does not rest until it has gained a hearing - Sigmu nd Freud There have been a lot of writers throughout history who praised or criticized the world s beauty and ways They all had their ideas and advice for humanity But America s most celebrated twentiethcentury poet Wallace Stevens did not just rain down his ideas in his writings but took them as his motto for life And he called the sum of his ideas Supreme Fiction This Supreme Fiction according to Stevens is a supreme level of poetry that cleanses the mind and soul of its readers and reduces the hardships they have to face in real life In other words Supreme Fiction is Stevens replacement for the idea of God Deeply influenced by the Nietzschean idea of the Death of God Stevens wants to create a replacement for God for people to find comfort in a world of disbelief and disorder in the twentieth centur

Introduction: HIV infection is a global pandemic, with cases of AIDS reported in Nearly every country in the world. Infection with the human Immunodeficiency virus-type-1 (HIV-1) can have a significant impact on The central nervous system (CNS) as well as on the immune system. Michael Gottlieb(1981) diagnosed with Pneumocystis carinii pneumonia In a gay man and some rare cases of Kaposi’s sarcoma were diagnosed During the same period. All these patients were strangely immuno Deficient—their immune systems could not fight off even simple Infections. Other opportunistic infections accompanied these diagnoses. The initial diagnosis was given the incriminating acronym GRID, Gay Related Immunodeficiency Disease. Since male homosexuals and Intravenous drug users were frequent blood donors, for both altruistic and Financial reasons, the blood supply was quickly tainted. Suddenly Hemophiliacs living outside the usual risk areas, who needed Factor VIII, Which was extracted from the whole blood of thousands of donors, came Down with the same symptoms. During 1982 AIDS was diagnosed Among hemophiliacs and injection drug users (idus). Later the first case Of heterosexual transmission was identified in USA.(centers for disease Control and prevention, 1983). The first studies performed by the CDC in 1981 traced the sexual Contacts of a small group of 40 patients suffering from KS, PCP, and/or Other opportunistic infections. All cases could be traced to the single Index case, called Patient Zero, a French Canadian flight attendant Gaetan Dugas. Although Dugas was not the first person to show Symptoms of HIV infection, he was the center of this particular cohort of Diseased individuals. The earliest fully documented case of HIV dates Back to 1959. A Congolese man's blood sample from a medical study was Preserved, found, and then analyzed in 1998. It was verified that he had Been HIV+. Other suspected, but unverified because of the lack of either Blood or tissue samples, cases date back as early as 1934. Since the identification of HIV in 1981 ,neurologists described Several HIV-related central nervous system (CNS) syndromes within the First several years of the epidemic. Mental health professionals from Nursing, social work, psychology, and psychiatry followed the plight of Patients of the epidemic and helped to mobilize interest and galvanize a Response. Initially, much of the work focused on grief and loss issues, as Well as supportive psychotherapy, but quickly broadened to recognize a Number of specific psychiatric conditions, including acquired immune Deficiency syndrome (AIDS) dementia, Cognitive Impairment, the Associated AIDS mania, increased rates of major depression, and Psychiatric consequences of CNS injuries. Neuropsychiatric disorders in HIV can be either primary or Secondary. Primary complications are those that can be attributed directly To the infection of the central nervous system by the virus, or to imuno Pathological events precipitated by HIV infection. Primary HIV-related Brain disorders include HIV-related dementia and minor cognitive Disorder. Immune suppression can lead to a variety of secondary Complications affecting the brain, including opportunistic infections (e.g. Cerebral toxoplasmosis and progressive multifocal leucoencephalopathy) And tumours (e.g. Cerebral lymphoma). Secondary complications in the Form of acute and subacute syndromes (e.g. Delirium) often occur as a Result of cerebrovascular complications and toxic states induced by Various therapeutic agents. Five percentage of newly diagnosed AIDS cases and 60% in late AIDS have been found to be impaired, (Tozzi et al, 2005, Cysique et al ,2004, Yepthomi et al ,2006). Neuropsycholgical impairment caused by HIV was found in the areas of attention and concentration, abstraction, Learning, memory, psychomotor and cognitive processing speed in several Studies.(Bornstein et al., 1993; Heaton et al., 1995; mcarthur and Seines, 1997, Glen et al, 2005). Age, CD4 count, Education, Employment are the some of the Factors predicting the development of cognitive impairment, proposed by Few literatures. Pharmacologic treatment strategies for cognitive disorders can be Divided into four types: 1) antiretroviral therapies, 2) therapies aimed at Immunological measures or inflammatory mediators, 3) therapies aimed At bolstering the response of the brain to the onslaught of the infection (e.g., neurotransmitter manipulation), and 4) nutritional therapies. Most Controlled studies have investigated the efficacy of antiretroviral Therapies, and while these studies have advanced our knowledge about Interventions for cognitive disorders, several key factors required to be Considered. First is the fact that most published studies to date report on The treatment strategy of administering a single antiretroviral agent. Their Findings are therefore difficult to interpret in light of the multi drug Regimens that are now the standard of care in developed countries. Second, the reports vary widely with regard to the study population, since Some studies enrolled subjects on the basis of established criteria for HIV-associated dementia or minor cognitive motor disorder but other Studies enrolled cognitively impaired subjects without Specifying Whether they also met criteria for a clinical disorder. Third, the range of HIV clinical severity also varied widely in study subjects. Whether Antiretroviral agents penetrate the blood-brain barrier sufficiently to Adequately suppress viral replication is a key issue that requires further Study. Scope of this study: This study focused on the primary neuropsychiatric disorders of HIV and cognitive impairment in particular. There is some evidence to Suggest that CD4 count was an important predictor of the development of Immune deficiency and subsequent cognitive impairment. .This study Aims to corroborate on the prevalence of cognitive impairment in HIV Patients and to know whether CD4 count are correlated with the Impairment and the effect of antiretroviral therapy in the cognitive Impairment Plan of the study: The present study has been planned as follows Review of Literature Methodology Results and Interpretation Discussion Conclusio
