    KAJIAN KESIAPSIAGAAN MASYARAKAT TERHADAP BENCANALONGSOR DI KECAMATAN LINGE KABUPATEN ACEH TENGAHFaidha RahmiABSTRAKTelah dilakukan penelitian untuk mengkaji kesiapsiagaan masyarakat terhadap bencana longsor di Kecamatan Linge Kabupaten Aceh Tengah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengetahui tingkat pemahaman masyarakat terhadap bencana longsor, 2) mengetahui tingkat kesiapsiagaan masyarakat terhadap bencana longsor,mengidentifikasi dan menilai peranan kearifan lokal dalam menghadapi bencana tanah longsor, dan 4) menyusun strategi kesiapsiagaan dalam pengurangan risiko bencana. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif melalui survey di 3 desa yaitu Desa Arul Item, Desa Antara dan Desa Kemerleng. Variabel penelitian yang diukur adalah pemahaman, kesiapsiagaan dan peranan kearifan lokal yang diperoleh dan penyebaran kuesioner. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan Purposive Random Sampling.Berdasarkan hash penelitian terhadap tingkat pemahaman masyarakat terhadap bencana longsor di Kecamatan Linge, bahwa tingkat pemahaman masyarakat Linge terhadap bencana longsor sebagian besar termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Tingkat kesiapsiagaan masyarakat juga masih bersifat pasif. Hal ini terjadi karena tidak semua desa di Kecamatan Linge memahami pentingnya pemahaman kebencanaan. Ada hubungan antara pemahaman kebencanaan dengan kesiapsiagaan dalam menghadapi bencana. Semakin tinggi tingkat pemahaman seseorang maka akan semakin siapsiaga dalam menghadapi bencana. Jika pemahaman tinggi, maka dapat mempengaruhi cara berpikir masyarakat yang lebih baik, kemudian informasi dan inovasi akan terserap dengan cepat sehingga lebih siap dalam menghadapi bencana. Kearifan lokal yang teridentifikasi di antaranya ada suara teriakan imo (kera hutan); teger (suara gemuruh di atas langit); adanya air sungai yang keruh bercampur minyak. Yang berperan dalam pengurangan resiko adalah imo. Semakin berperan kearifan lokal tersebut, maka semakin tinggi tingkat kesiapsiagaan masyarakat dalam pengurangan risiko bencana. Strategi kesiapsiagaan yang dilakukan menggunakan analisis SWOT, di mana terdapat lima belas alternatif strategi salah-satunya adalah melakukan penyuluhan dan simulasi yang kontinyu.Kata Kunci: kearifan lokal, kesiapsiagaan, longsor, SWO

    Abstrak. Telah dilakukan penelitian untuk mengkaji kesiapsiagaan masyarakat terhadap bencana longsor di Kecamatan Linge Kabupaten Aceh Tengah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengetahui tingkat pemahaman masyarakat terhadap bencana longsor, 2) mengetahui tingkat kesiapsiagaan masyarakat terhadap bencana longsor, 3) mengidentifikasi dan menilai peranan kearifan lokal dalam menghadapi bencana tanah longsor, dan 4) menyusun strategi kesiapsiagaan dalam pengurangan risiko bencana. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif melalui survei di 3 desa, yaitu Desa Arul Item, Desa Antara dan Desa Kemerleng. Variabel penelitian yang diukur adalah pemahaman, kesiapsiagaan dan peranan kearifan lokal yang diperoleh dari penyebaran kuesioner. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan Cluster Random Sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat di Kecamatan Linge memiliki tingkat pemahaman yang berbeda-beda terhadap bencana longsor. Mayoritas masyarakat (55%) memiliki pemahaman yang sedang, tingkat kesiapsiagaan masyarakat berada berada pada tingkat siap yaitu 49,5%. Sebagian besar masyarakat (49,5%) menyatakan bahwa kearifan lokal memiliki peranan dalam pengurangan risiko bencana longsor. Diperoleh 5 alternatif strategis untuk meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan masyarakat Linge dalam menghadapi bencana longsor yaitu: meningkatkan peran lembaga kampung sebagai pusat informasi dan merintis kerjasama yang kontinyu dan berkesinambungan dengan lembaga lain seperti BPBD, mengkaji lebih lanjut peranan kearifan lokal melalui kerjasama dengan organisasi/lembaga lain yang ingin mengkaji peranan kearifan lokal untuk jenis bencana lain, menganjurkan masyarakat mengikuti penyuluhan dan simulasi untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesiapsiagaan terkait kebencanaan, meningkatkan peran lembaga donor dalam penyediaan dana untuk pengelolaan bencana dan  meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat melalui penyuluhan yang kontinyu dengan menggerakkan masyarakat dalam mengurangi dampak bencana.Abstract. A research to study the preparedness of society for landslide in Linge, District of Central Aceh has been done. The aim of this research: 1) to know the level of society comprehension on landslide, 2) to know the level of society preparedness on landslide, 3) to identify and to asses the role of local wisdom in facing the disaster of landslide, and 4) to arrange the strategy of preparedness in reducing the risk of disaster. This research used a descriptive method by conducting a survey at 3 villages: Arul Item Village, Antara Village and Kemerleng Village. The research variables were comprehension, preparedness, and the role of local wisdom by distributing questionnaire. The sampling technique conducted by using Cluster Random Sampling. The results showed that the society in Linge had different level of comprehension towards landslide. The majority (55%) had a mid level of comprehension, the level of society preparedness was at high (ready) level 49,5%. Most of society (49,5%) said that the local wisdom played an important role in reducing the risk of landslide. There were 5 strategic alternatives to increase the society preparedness in Linge to facing the landslide: 1) to improve the play role of village board as the information centre and to pioneer a continued corporation with other board such as BPBD, 2) to further study the play role of local wisdom through corporation with other organizations who interested to study the other type of disasters, 3) to suggest the society to take a part in training and simulation in order to improve the comprehension and the preparedness regarding the disaster, 4) to improve the role of donor institution in providing the funds, and 5) to increase the society participation by a continuous training to reduce the effect of disaster

    ANALISIS MUTU KIMIA CASCARA YANG DIPEROLEH DARI KOMBINASI WAKTU DAN SUHU PENGERINGAN SERTA PENGECILAN UKURAN YANG BERBEDA

    Telah dilakukan penelitian untuk menganalisis mutu kimia seduhan cascara yang diperoleh dari kombinsi suhu dan waktu pengeringan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental menggunakan RAK (Rancangan Acak Kelompok) faktorial menggunakan 2 faktor. Faktor pertama adalah kombinasi suhu dan waktu pengeringan (T) terdiri dari 2 taraf yaitu pengeringan tray dryer suhu 37 oC selama 20 jam (T1) dan pengeringan tray dryer suhu 45 oC selama 10 jam (T2). Faktor kedua adalah pengecilan ukuran teh cascara (P) terdiri dari 2 taraf yaitu pengecilan ukuran 20 mesh (P1), dan tanpa pengecilan ukuran teh cascara (P2). Dengan demikian dihasilkan 4 kombinasi perlakuan dengan pengulangan sebanyak 3 kali sehingga diperoleh total 12 unit percobaan. Parameter seduhan teh cascara yang diamati adalah nilai pH, total padatan terlarut, total fenol dan aktivitas antioksidan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi suhu dan waktu pengeringan mempengaruhi total fenol dan aktivitas antioksidan seduhan cascara. Kombinasi suhu pengeringan 37oC dengan waktu selama 20 jam menghasilkan total fenol dan aktivitas antioksidan yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kombinasi suhu pengeringan 45oC selama 10 jam. proses pengecilan ukuran mempengaruhi nilai pH nilai dan total padatan terlarut seduhan cascara. Dengan melakukan pengecilan ukuran komponen kimia yang terekstrak menjadi lebih besar sehingga keasaman dan total padatan terlarut semakin meningkat

    EDUKASI DAN UPAYA PENINGKATAN KESEHATAN DENGAN PENGOLAHAN MINUMAN HERBAL PADA MASYARAKAT DESA GUNUNG BAHGIE

    Kesehatan adalah hal terpenting dalam hidup manusia. Namun seringkali kesehatan terganggu karena faktor cuaca, psikologis dan kesehatan internal seseorang. Masyarakat Desa Gunung Bahgie mayoritas mempunyai matapencaharian petani dan pekebun. Memerlukan tenaga dan kekuatan mental yang cukup untuk melakukan pekerjaannya. Namun seringkali penghasilan yang tidak mencukupi menjadi kendala masyarakat mendapatkan kesehatan yang optimal. Padahal di sekeliling mereka banyak sekali rimpang-rimpangan yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai suplemen dan meningkatkan daya tahan tubuh, mengatasi penyakit bahkan mengobati penyakit. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk mengedukas dan mengupayakan peningkatan kesehatan dengan pelatihan dan pengolahan rimpang-rimpangan menjadi minuman herbal dalam mengantisipasi kondisi kesehatan warga menghadapi cuaca yang tidak menentu. Metode yang dilakukan adalah pemberian materi berupa ceramah, difusi ipteks dengan demonstrasi pengolahan. Mitra diberikan kertas yang berisi penjelasan tentang rimpang-rimpangan, alat dan bahan yang digunakan dan cara pengolahan. Hasil Pre Test dan Post Test menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan dan pemahaman Mitra terhadap materi yang diberikan.  Terdapat 3 pertanyaan yang menunjukkan bahwa Mitra mencapai 100% untuk menyatakan ‘Tahu’ pada pada 3 pertanyaan, tentang cara pembuatan minuman herbal, manfaat dan khasiat herbal dan minuman herbal ini dapat bernilai ekonomis apabila dijadikan sebagai usaha sampingan keluarga. Mitra diberikan sampel minuman herbal yang sudah disediakan. Menurut Mitra minuman herbal tersebut sangat sesuai dikonsumsi di daerah Takengon karena cuacanya sejuk. Sementara pada penilaian Evaluasi Pelaksanaan menunjukkan bahwa Persentase peserta mencapai 100% masing-masing untuk pertanyaan tentang susunan acara sesuai, program yang dilakukan sangat bermanfaat dan Mitra akan mengikuti program lainnya apabila diadakan lagi di desa tersebut

    ABSTRACT: This study aims to determine the quality of water hyacinth compost in physical and chemical properties. Water hyacinth is considered a weed that damages the aesthetics and aquatic environment in the  Lut Tawar Lake  tourist area. A solution is needed to overcome these problems, one of which is composting. In order for composting to take place faster, an EM-4 activator will be used which will give good quality. This research method uses one replicate with three treatments (K1 and K2 using EM-4, and K0 without EM-4). This study was conducted in two stages, that are the composting and characterization stages. The composting process is let runs for 60 days. Checking every 5 days is turn upside down and physical observation. After the composting process, is determined the pH, temperature and characterization. Characterization is done to determine the levels of C, N, P, K, Ca and Mg. The results of this study showed that EM-4 is effective for carbon (C), phosphorus (P) and calcium (Ca) grade. The grade of macro nutrient (C, N, P, K), micro nutrient (Ca) and  temperature of water hyacinth compost are suitable with SNI

    Jruek drien is one of traditional fermented food of Aceh. This product made from flash of durio that fermented without starter addition. Explorative research has been conducted to examine the change of chemical and microbiological characteristics of jruek drien during fermentation. This study used completely randomized design with single factor (length of fermentation: 1,3,5 and 7 days). The parameters analyzed were water content, pH, total acid, total sugars, total lactic acid bacteria and yeast. The results showed that water content and acid total were increased while pH and sugar content were decreased. The highest total of lactic acid bacteria was found on day 3. Yeast detected only on early fermentation and no detected on 7th day

The aim of this research was to study the production of asam sunti powder by optimatization of drying temperature and time. The study used completed random design with two factors (drying temperature and time) and three repetition. Parameter analyzed were chemical and sensory characteristics including water content, Vitamin C, pH, color and taste.     At the beginning of 2019 the world was hit by the Covid-19 pandemic which resulted in the paralysis of the economy of people around the world, including Indonesia. The government's policy to overcome this epidemic was to limit community activities (lockdown). paralyzed in all sectors. The Covid-19 pandemic has damaged the economic order of the people of Central Aceh district. Likewise, Kampung Asir-Asir Asia, one of the villages in Lut Tawar District, was also affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Asir-Asir Asia Village is located at the foot of the Leweng hill extending along the Lut Tawar Lake. The livelihoods of the people here are mostly trading and entrepreneurship. , many of these communities are no longer able to continue their business until they really expect government assistance both from social assistance and other assistance that can lighten their burden a little. The dharma of higher education is expected to be able to provide solutions to the problems that are being faced by the Asir-Asir Asian community. This year's White Elephant University Real Work Lecture has the theme KKN-Thematic. We, from one of the field supervisors, want to strengthen the community's economy.     Civet coffee is one of the world’s most popular and expensive coffee types. The problem recently is the difficulty of finding natural civet coffee. The study of artificial civet coffee production using microorganisms to ferment the coffee in recent years has attracted the attention of many researchers. This study aims to characterize and identify yeast from civets and evaluate its potential as a starter in coffee fermentation. Three types of yeast isolated from civet feces have been isolated and characterized. They have varied morphological and biochemical characteristics. Only two yeast isolates Kh1 and Kh2 have the potential to be used as starters in fermentation due to the ability to degrade pectin and protein. The 18S rRNA gene fragment analysis results indicated that the isolates Kh1 and Kh2 were identified as Trichosporon asahii isolate E22922_ITS and Wickerhamomyces anomalus CNRMA10.1139. Applying both isolates as starters in coffee fermentation can improve the quality of coffee flavor and produce a higher score. Fermented coffee using W. anomalus starter provides more flavor, aftertaste, body, and overall advantages, while coffee fermentation using T. asahii isolate gives more value to the aroma. The highest cupping score was obtained for processed coffee using W. anomalus, reaching 84.42. Furthermore, it is necessary to carry out a more complex metabolite analysis to ensure the performance of the two isolates in modifying the chemical composition and taste of coffee

    (Effect of Ammonium Sulphate (Za) Addition as The Nitrogen Source on The Making of Nata De Coffea)  ABSTRACT. The research was conducted to analyze the effect of the addition of nitrogen source; ammonium sulfate (ZA) on the process of making nata de coffea. ZA was added in various concentrations, which is 0% (as controls), 0,3% and 0,5 %. Parameters analyzed were yield, thickness, strength and organoleptic (color and elasticity). The analysis of nata de coffea produced shows that the increasing concentration of ZA added has significant effect on yield improvement, reducing the value of strength, as well as reducing the value of preferences for color, as well as the elasticity increases. As for all of the added concentration ZA does not affect the value of its thickness but getting thicker significantly when compared with no addition of ZA
