    Politics Political Dynamics and Accountability of Regional Budgets in Creating Budget Transparency

    The article discusses the politics and accountability of regional budgets, which are used as an analysis in analyzing transparency, accountability and efficiency of regional finances. In this study, the authors used a qualitative approach with descriptive-critical methods with strength analysis and in the data processing using literature study. To discuss politics and accountability for local budgets, three conceptual frameworks are used. First, supervision to control and check the performance of regional governments in the implementation of regional autonomy and regional wealth management Strategies to improve local government performance. Second, the use of agencies as legal rules that are formulated indirectly by the government to carry out budget transparency by presenting data that will become one of the pillars in shaping public management. Illustrates that the legislature as an agent of government has the authority to take action by the executive. Third, a fiscal policy which aims to accelerate the country's economic activity, namely to increase economic growth. Where the fiscal policy executive to make a sustainable regional development plan. So that conclusion can be drawn that politics has an important role in creating transparency in regional financial budgets by involving the legislative and executive institutions.     Fish Boat Building as a Supporting Facility for Lobster Cultivation in Banyuwangi

    The economic condition of the coastal communities of East Java, especially in Banyuwangi, is strongly influenced by the tourism and fishing sectors. This condition needs to be developed with supporting facilities such as the procurement of fishing vessels. Procurement of fishing vessels must be designed with a feasibility study on vessel operations. In general, coastal conditions have shallow water depths and are often used by coastal communities for lobster cultivation. The supporting fishing vessels must be able to maneuver properly and not damage the ecosystem so that the existence of coral reefs is maintained. The fishing boats that support lobster aquaculture are designed with good maneuverability by taking into account the speed, the result of the waves formed and the capacity of the ship. The results of the design of fishing boats supporting lobster cultivation obtained that the main size of the ship is 13.00 meters long, 3.00 meters wide and 0.8 meters draft with a speed of 12 knots, reaching a designed mileage of 30 km in shallow water operational condition

Ruang persegi panjang lebih disukaikarena kesederhanaan dalam desain dan konstruksi.Di dalam ruang anechoic chamber untukmeminimalkan pantulan gelombang elektromagnetikdigunakan bahan menyerap. Bahan penyerab(Absorber) dibuat dari bahan lossy, seperti Ferrite.Bahan ini memiliki sifat penyerapan yang baik dalamkisaran MHz tetapi tidak bekerja dengan baik dalamkisaran GHz. Bahan komposit dengan bubuk feritmenunjukkan penyerapan yang lebih baik dalamkisaran frekuensi ini, tetapi nilai permeabilitas yangrendah dan hanya memiliki sedikit fleksibilitas dalammenyesuaikan dengan kondisi penyerapan. Padapenelitian ini menyelidiki penerapan bubuk karbondari bahan serbuk arang batok kelapa sebagai bahanpenyerap. Karbon dipilih karena sifat yang sangatmirip dengan ferit dan mudah ditemukan di pasarlokal. Selain itu, harganya juga lebih murah. Dari ujicoba pada frekuensi 1-4 GHz bahwa bahan dengancarbon dari serbuk arang batok kelapa menunjukkannilai redaman sebesar -30dB.Kata kunci: absorber, anechoic chamber, serbukarang , batok kelap

    Mathematical communication skills based on cognitive styles and gender

    This research aimed to determine the differences of mathematical communication skills based on cognitive styles and gender. This research was a mixed-method with sequential explanatory design. The population was grade XI students at Senior High School in Jambi City consisting of 53 male and 72 female students. The study used a total sampling. The key informant consisted of four field independent and four field dependent. The instruments were used cognitive style test, mathematical communication test, and interviews. The differences of mathematical communication skills were analyzed using Mann-Whitney U-Test. Qualitative data were analyze descriptively using Miles and Huberman model. The results of this study showed that there was a significant difference of Field Independent (FI) and Field Dependent (FD) students in mathematical communication skills. FI can explain the information on the question well, using the mathematical model appropriately, explaining the problem-solving strategy very clear and structured, and being able to evaluate clearly and accurately. FD able to describing the information on the matter, but less complete, using the mathematical model appropriately, explaining the problem-solving strategy, but less complete, and being able to evaluate it quite clearly. The mathematical communication skills of male and female students were not significant differences. Male students are able to explain the strategy and the steps of solving the problem quite clearly, but less structured. Female students are able to explain the strategy and steps to resolve the problem clearly and structured

    This study aims to measure the effect of leadership styles, organizational commitment to performance with the mediation of motivation in the civil service of the Faculty of Universities in Surakarta. The study population was a civil servant employees in the faculty. The sample is determined by the saturated sample technique, the entire employee staff respondents as many as 76 people. Methods of data collection techniques used are questionnaire. Data analysis method used is the method of path analysis (path analysis). From the results of this study concluded that the style of leadership, organizational commitment and motivation of jointly have a significant influence on employee performance. While the results of the t test of leadership style variable result that leadership style has no effect on the motivation and performance of the organization's commitment and motivation.Variabel partially have a significant influence on employee performance. With the result that the path analysis variables mediate motivational leadership style on employee performance. Motivation also mediate organizational commitment to employee performance. Judging from the coefficient (R Square) we can conclude that the motivation was influenced variable leadership style and organizational commitment of 0.46% while the rest influenced by other factors beyond the study variables. Performance is influenced by the motivation of employees by 44% and the rest influenced by other factors beyond the variables. Performance of employees affected by variables of leadership style and organizational commitment by 36% while 64% is variable - the other variables outside the study

Secara teori, Railgun memiliki kelebihan dimana kekuatan dari tembakan yang dilakukan tergantung pada besarnya arus yang mengalir pada rel akselerator tersebut. Oleh karena itu, Railgun menjadi salah satu teknologi yang diharapkan dapat menjadi sistem persenjataan masa depan.  Akan tetapi, teknologi railgun pada saat ini masih dalam tahap prototipe. Sistem railgun yang telah dibuat memiliki beberapa kelemahan diantaranya besarnya arus yang dibutuhkan, overheat, serta ukuran yang besar. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan utama untuk melakukan miniaturisasi dari sistem railgun yang telah ada dan mendesain sistem railgun yang bersifat portabel serta mengatasi beberapa masalah yang ada pada sistem railgun yang ada saat ini seperti kebutuhan arus yang tinggi serta reliabilitas dari sistem yang ada untuk membuat railgun yang didesain ini bersifat praktikal. Dari penelitian yang dilakukan, secara teori, sistem railgun yang bersifat portabel dapat dibuat dengan menggunakan sistem 2-stage acceleration dimana menggunakan peluru konvensional untuk mengakselerasikan peluru pada tahap awal sebelum diakselerasikan oleh rel akselerator membantu memberikan peluru tersebut kecepatan awal sebelum akselerasi yand sangat membantu dalam mengurangi besarnya arus yang dibutuhkan. Selain itu, berdasarkan perhitungan yang telah dilakukan, terjadi peningkatan karakteristik dari peluru yang ditembakkan dalam aspek kecepatan, jarak serta energi kinetik yang dihasilkan. &nbsp
