The Cooperative (Koperasi) as a non-Bank financial institution has the purpose of improving the welfare of its members as Koperasi Hidmat and the staffs of Latifah Mubarokiyah Koperasi Ponses Suryalaya that have been since decades ago. Over time, the ideal cooperative can show a significant development and increase the welfare of its members. This study aims to determine the efficiency of cooperative as a benchmark, because by known the performance value of a cooperation, it will known the weeknesses and advantages so that it can be improved the weaknesses and maintain the advantages. The method used is apply Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). Inputs used from principal savings, mandatory savings, and fixed assets while the output used from savings in the cooperative, savings in other cooperative and SHU. As for result of this research indicates there are 9 perfect efficient DMUs (100 %) and inefficient DMU is 11 DMUs, consisting of 7 (IRS conditions) and 4 (DRS condition). The most inefficient cooperative is Koperasi Hidmat (2014) of 30.66% efficiency level.Kopkar IAILM is able to maintain its grade efficiency level from 2009 to 2015 when compared to other DMUs cooperatives in the observation, except in 2014. The calculation of efficiency level in this research is relative and it is not absolute, so that it is possible when the cooperative sample is added or the observation year is expanded, so it will get different result. The necessity of any cooperative or BMT based on Pondok Pesantren to make annual financial statements in order to increase accountability and transparency of fund management

Biochar improve physical, chemical and biological properties of soil. It may also be used as botanical pesticides. The experiment was aimed to determine the effect of biochar on population development of parasitic nematode Pratylenchus coffeae. The experiment was carried out in Nematology Laboratory and in a greenhouse of Indonesian Coffee and Cocoa Research Institute (ICCRI), Jember, Indonesia. The experiment was arranged according to completely randomized design with six treatments of biochar concentrations, i.e. 4%; 3%; 2%; 1%; 0.5% and 0% dry weight of soil. Research results revealed that biochar application of 4.0% was effectively killed 74.5% of P. coffeae, while the lowest mortality level of 37.5% at biochar 0.5% treatment. In the greenhouse trial, application of biochar 4.0% was the most effective in suppressing the population of parasitic nematode in coffee seedlings. Application of biochar was also able to increase the growth and biomass of coffee seedlings

Strategi Penerapan Paradigma Baru dalam Peran Auditor Internal Organisasi Pemerintah

This paper was intended to identify the applied strategies administered by the internal auditors in the governmental institutions in order to run the new paradigm. The quantity and the quality of the government\u27s internal auditors, nowadays, need to be extended. The transformation from the old paradigm to the new one aimed to support the institution\u27s development. Internal auditor is no longer having a role as a watchdog, but it should also play an important role as the consultant and the catalyst like a business partner. The author revealed seven additional work-focuses of internal auditor as the implementation strategies of the new paradigm such as: (1) from hard control to soft control; (2) from control evaluation to self assessment; (3) from control to risk; (4) from detective to preventive; (5) from audit knowledge to business knowledge; (6) from operational audit to strategy audit; and (7) from independent to value. These new roles will potentially be unattainable if the auditors are incompetent, there is no commitment support from the head of the institution, and the awareness level of the auditee is low

Reforming Mathematic Through The Concept Of Cooperative Learning By Using The Technique Think-Pair-Share Focusing On Cube And Cuboid To Improve The Study Result And Activity Of Students From Banyubiru 1 State Middle School Class Of Viiie In Semarang District On Their Second Semester Year Of 2010/2011

Determining the use of mathematical model is very influential on students’ study outcomes and activity. In deciding the mathematical model, teacher should consider students’ characteristic, the material, and also the students’ habits. So far, mathematics teacher of class VIII E SMP Negeri I Banyubiru Kabupaten Semarang tend to use the method of lecture and mechanistic structural because he feel that this is the easiest method for the students to digest. Furthermore, the teacher only uses props on materials that are considered hard. This style of teaching from the teacher has an impact on students. Students tend to be passive when lecture is in process resulting in less student activity and also minimum result on their study. This is proven by their average mark which is 60.51 and the limit to pass is 38.7%. Because of this, reforming mathematic through the concept of cooperative learning by using the technique think-pair-share is needed. This research of type“Penelitian Tindakan Kelas” (PTK) with 3 trialwhereas in trial 1, the average increases to 89,9 and the limit to pass is 96,77% and the student activity is 28,35%; for the second trial, the results are the average of 92,55 with the limit to pass 100% and the student activity is 41,38%; and for the last trial the results are the average of 96,29 with the limit to pass 100% and the student activity is 52,12%. Key Words: classroom action research, Cooperative Learning Tipe Think-Pair-Share, space cube and cuboid

This study generally aims to analyze the influence of customer satisfaction and service quality to develop trust and positive word of mouth especially in vocational education. Students in vocational education as well as higher education are considered as an internal customer; therefore, their satisfaction and perception of service quality are potential to bridging the emergence of external satisfaction and customer loyalty. According to previous literature, internal customer satisfaction can be measured by service product, service delivery, and service environment, all of which have a significant relation with trust where trust is significantly related to word of mouth. Meanwhile, the communication, productivity and responsiveness are significant in measuring the perceptions of service quality. This study is expected to enrich managerial implication on how to measure the internal customer satisfaction and service quality toward trust and word of mouth in vocational education. Thus, the vocational education can continue to strive to provide educational service in accordance with the expectations of the customers.     Keywords: component, customer satisfaction, internal customer satisfaction, service quality, trust, word of mouth, vocational education, higher educatio

Kernel Logistic Regression-linear for Leukemia Classification Using High Dimensional Data

    Get PDF
Kernel Logistic Regression (KLR) is one of the statistical models that has been proposed for classification in the machine learning and data mining communities, and also one of the effective methodologies in the kernel–machine techniques. Basely, KLR is kernelized version of linear Logistic Regression (LR). Unlike LR, KLR has ability to classify data with non linear boundary and also can accommodate data with very high dimensional and very few instances. In this research, we proposed to study the use of Linear Kernel on KLR in order to increase the accuracy of Leukemia Classification. Leukemia is one of the cancer types that causes mortality in medical diagnosis problem. Improving the accuracy of Leukemia Classification is essential for more effective diagnosis and treatment of Leukemia disease. The Leukemia data sets consists of 7120 (very high dimensional) DNA micro arrays data of 72 (very few instances) patient samples on the state of Leukemia types. In Leukemia classification based upon gene expression, monitoring data using DNA micro array offer hope to achieve an objective and highly accurate classification. It can be demonstrated that the use of Linear Kernel on Kernel Logistic Regression (KLR–Linear) can improve the performance in classifying Leukemia patient samples and also can be shown that KLR–Linear has better accuracy than KLR–Polynomial and Penalized Logistic Regression

Cocoa production is affected by cocoa flowering and fruiting. The factor affects fruit seeting is pollinator agent such as Forcipomyia spp. Until now, information concerning population dynamics of Forcipomyia in some models of cocoa shading trees remains limited. This research was studied to observe the population dynamics of Forcipomyia spp. in some models of cocoa shading trees, namely lamtoro (Leucaena sp.), krete (Cassia surithensis) and areca nut (Areca catechu) in two main season of rainy and dry seasons. The research was conducted in Kaliwining research station of Indonesian Coffee and Cocoa Research Institute (ICCRI), Jember, by surveying the existing cocoa under different types of shading trees as mentioned above. The insects were observed using modified sticky trap method, whilst micro climate condition was also observed. The highest population was in January (rainy season) under Leucaena spp. shade tress and the lowest population was in October under all type of the shading trees. There was no relationship between microclimate condition under cocoa trees (temperature, RH and light intensity) and Forcipomyia spp. population (r = 0.08 and 0.04)
