Metal-organic framework (MOF) such as ZIF-8 is the tremendous porous material applied in many fields due to high specific surface area and excellent regularity of pores. One technique to improve the physical properties of ZIF-8 with the formation of a composite between a metal oxide and MOF. ZIF-8 and ZIF-8/Al2O3 were successfully synthesized by the solvothermal method with an Al variation of 19%, 38%, and 76%. The ZIF-8/Al2O3 were characterized by XRD, FTIR, SEM, and N2 Physisorption. The diffractogram shows that the appearing of ZIF-8’s peak on 2θ = 7.26; 10.41, 12.66, 16.41, and 17.95°. The morphological of ZIF-8 crystals had a cubic shape. Then the ZIF-8/Al2O3 had different shapes with ZIF-8. Based on the FTIR result, the Zn-N peak appears on 420 cm−1, which indicates the bonding between metal and organic ligand for ZIF-8/Al2O3 has an additional spike on 825 cm−1 due to the vibration of Al−O− Al

The aim of this study is to analyze the influence of green marketing on brand equity, corporate social responsibility on brand equity, green marketing on customer loyalty, corporate social responsibility on customer loyalty, and then green marketing and corporate social responsibility towards customer loyalty through brand equity. Research on green marketing became very interesting because many people give more attention to product that support sustainability living and green products. Sample in this study were taken used purposive sampling. Number of samples that used were 160 respondens. Data obtained analyzed using Structural Equation Models. The results showed that green marketing have a positive effect on brand equity, corporate social responsibility have a positive significant effect on brand equity, then green marketing and corporate social responsibility have a significant positive effect on customer loyalty through brand equity. Keywords: green marketing, corporate social responsibility, customer loyalty, brand equit

Mistaken Pedal Pressing during Emergency Braking by Analyzing Pedal Behaviors

    No full text
Affective computing has been used to improve computer usability and user interface by considering user's emotion. There is still ample scope for exploration of affective computing especially for applications in a driver assistance system to recognize driver's emotions upon an emergency braking that has been extensively studied by several pieces of research. Pressing an accelerator mistakenly during an emergency braking is a serious case that leads to accidents especially in the case of an elderly driver or a beginner. This paper reviews briefly the affective computing, emergency braking, and mistaken pedal pressing, proposing a possible approach for improving the existing driving assistance system by analyzing driver's behavior of pedal pressing. The study is based on the idea that an emergency braking behavior should not mistakenly happen on the accelerator pedal, and we used evolutionary computing to investigate this idea. Results from our reviews and experiments showed that current affective computing technology might be insufficient to recognize a mistaken pedal pressing using facial expressions or similar emotions. However, we found that analyzing pedal pressing behaviors of a driver can recognize a mistaken pedal pressing during emergency braking. This can provide further alternative options to improve the safety of driving, especially for elderly and beginners, as we focus on the driver aspects

    Personalized Route Recommendation Using F-AHP-Express

    No full text
The route recommendation system helps the driver find the best route between origin and destination. A recommendation system often suggests its decision without considering some criteria. This paper proposes a multicriteria decision-making method, namely Fuzzy—Analytic Hierarchy Process—Express (F-AHP-Express) for recommending a personal travel route from several alternative routes. It is calculated based on the driving preferences of a driver and road conditions for each road segment. We compare the F-AHP-Express to others; Fuzzy—Analytic Hierarchy Process (F-AHP) and Fuzzy—Analytic Hierarchy Process—Technique for Others Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (F-AHP-TOPSIS), for its recommendation results, time processing, agility, and complexity. Our experiments show that F-AHP-Express could deliver similar recommendation results compared to other methods, and it is additionally the fastest method. F-AHP-Express is 45% and 23% faster than F-AHP and F-AHP-TOPSIS, respectively. F-AHP-Express not only has the fastest time processing among the others but also has the least judgments in agility testing. It needs 37.5% and 16.67% fewer judgments from F-AHP and F-AHP-TOPSIS, respectively. Moreover, AHP-Express has a complexity of O(n), meanwhile, the others have O(n2) for their complexity. Thus, the results show that F-AHP-Express is the best method for recommending a personal route
