    Tujuan dari penulisan penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang sistem Aplikasi Sistem Informasi Geografis Sekolah Berbasis Android pada Dinas Pendidikan Kota Palembang yang nantinya akan dapat membantu masyarakat dalam mencari alamat dan lokasi geografis sekolah. Dalam mengembangkan sistem ini penulis menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Java, di mana Java digunakan untuk membangun aplikasi Android, sementara basis data yang digunakan adalah MySQL. Metodologi pengembangan sistem yang digunakan adalah metodologi Waterfall. Metodologi Waterfall memiliki beberapa tahap: Analisis, Desain Sistem, Implementasi, Integrasi, Operasi dan Pemeliharaan. Dalam proses pengumpulan data penulis menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan sastra. Output yang akan dihasilkan dari pengembangan sistem ini adalah Aplikasi Sistem Informasi Geografis Sekolah Berbasis Androi

    This study aimed at examining the relationship between Islamic values and public services. To achieve the purpose it employed survey research design. The patients in Ibnu Sina Islamic hospital were assigned as respondents and questionnaire was used to assess their perceptions toward the values and the quality services provided by the hospital. The findings showed that 1) the implementation of the Islamic values provided by the hospital was in general was ‘good\u27, 2) the quality of public services in general was also ‘good\u27, and 3) the correlation between the implementation of Islamic values and the quality of public services was ‘positive\u27 (0.458 on Pearson Product Moment index). It can be concluded that the more Islamic values were implemented, the quality of public services tended to be more realized. Theoretically, the finding were expected to yield evidence that there was positive correlation between organizational culture, especially religious values, and organizational performance, especially quality of public services. Practically, the findings encouraged the hospital managers to keep improving their implementation of Islamic values since the of quality of public services tended to increase as well

    Program pengembangan keprofesian berkelanjutan bagi guru merupakan tindak lanjut dari hasil Uji Kompetensi Guru (UKG) 2015 dan bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam melaksanakan tugasnya sesuai dengan mata pelajaran yang diampunya. Sebagai salah satu upaya untuk mendukung keberhasilan suatu program diklat, Direktorat Pembinaan Guru Pendidikan Dasar pada tahun 2017 melaksanakan riview, revisi, dan mengembangkan modul paska UKG 2015 yang telah terintegrasi Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter (PPK) dan Penilaian Berbasis Kelas, serta berisi materi pedagogik dan profesi yang akan dipelajari oleh peserta selama mengikuti program pengembangan keprofesian berkelanjutan.     BEAGLEBOARD EMBEDDED SYSTEM FOR ADAPTIVE TRAFFIC LIGHT CONTROL SYSTEM WITH CAMERA SENSOR

    Traffic is one of the most important aspects in human daily life because traffic affects smoothness of capital flows, logistics, and other community activities. Without appropriate traffic light control system, possibility of traffic congestion will be very high and hinder people’s life in urban areas. Adaptive traffic light control system can be used to solve traffic congestions in an intersection because it can adaptively change the durations of green light each lane in an intersection depend on traffic density. The proposed adaptive traffic light control system prototype uses Beagleboard-xM, CCTV camera, and AVR microcontrollers. We use computer vision technique to obtain information on traffic density combining Viola-Jones method with Kalman Filter method. To calculate traffic light time of each traffic light in intersection, we use Distributed Constraint Satisfaction Problem (DCSP). From implementations and experiments results, we conclude that BeagleBoard-xM can be used as main engine of adaptive traffic light control system with 91.735% average counting rate. Lalu intas adalah salah satu aspek yang paling penting dalam kehidupan sehari-hari manusia karena lalu lintas memengaruhi kelancaran arus modal, logistik, dan kegiatan masyarakat lainnya. Tanpa sistem kontrol lampu lalu lintas yang memadai, kemungkinan kemacetan lalu lintas akan sangat tinggi dan menghambat kehidupan masyarakat di perkotaan. Sistem kontrol lampu lalu lintas adaptif dapat digunakan untuk memecahkan kemacetan lalu lintas di persimpangan karena dapat mengubah durasi lampu hijau di setiap persimpangan jalan tergantung pada kepadatan lalu lintas. Prototipe sistem kontrol lampu lalu lintas menggunakan BeagleBoard-XM, kamera CCTV, dan mikrokontroler AVR. Peneliti menggunakan teknik computer vision untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang kepadatan lalu lintas dengan menggabungkan metode Viola-Jones dan metode Filter Kalman. Untuk menghitung waktu setiap lampu lalu lintas di persimpangan, peneliti menggunakan Distributed Constraint Satisfaction Problem (DCSP). Dari hasil implementasi dan percobaan dapat disimpulkan bahwa BeagleBoard-XM dapat digunakan sebagai mesin utama sistem kontrol lampu lalu lintas adaptif dengan tingkat akurasi penghitungan rata-rata sebesar 91.735%

    Cutting Force and Surface Roughness Optimizations in End Milling of GFRP Composites Utilizing BPNN-Firefly Method

    The excessive cutting force that is generated in the end milling process of glass fiber-reinforced polymer (GFRP) composites can lower the surface quality. Hence, it is necessary to select the correct levels of end milling parameters to minimize the cutting force (CF) and surface roughness (SR). The parameters of the end milling process comprised the depth of cut (doc), spindle speed (n), and feeding speed (Vf). This study emphasized on the modeling and minimization of both CF and SR in the end milling of GFRP combo fabric by combining backpropagation neural network (BPNN) method and firefly algorithm (FA). The FA based BPNN was first performed to model the end-milling process and predict CF and SR. It was later also executed to obtain the best combination of end-milling parameter levels that would provide minimum CF and SR. The outcome of the confirmation experiments disclosed that the integration of BPNN and FA managed to accurately predict and substantially enhance the multi-objective characteristics
