    A STUDY OF WORK SAFETY BEHAVIOR AT PT. AST INDONESIA SEMARANG

    The aim of this study is to analyse the effect of Safety Leadership, Safety Culture and Safety Training that influences the employee Safety Behavior at PT. AST Indonesia Semarang. Mixed methods with sequential explanatory type approach was utilized in this study. The quantitative instruments were using SEM methods while Indonesian and Japanese manager interview was used for the qualitative instrument. The study involved 100 employees as the questionnaire respondents from 600 production employees population and 3 manager as intervieweer. Simple random sampling was use at quantitative research with a proportional quantity of responden have taken in every department depend on total employee in each department. The validation of qualitative result have used by honest validation from respondens which was confirmated and approved by responden’s with their signature at qualitative question and answer list. Based on the result of the quantitative and qualitative data, the research hypothesis conclusion for Safety Leadership, Safety Culture and Safety Training effect is positive and significant to Safety Behavior and the other findings at this research could be explained that the direct effect of Safety Culture to Safety Training (0.646) more than Safety Leadership effect to Safety Training (0.217). In other side Safety Leadership effect to Safety Behavior (0.386) more than Safety Culture effect to Safety Behavior (0.297). The indirect effect between Safety Leadership (0.08) and Safety Culture (0.239) to Safety Behavior was lower than the direct effect, this result shown that Safety Training is not an intervining variable on this research

    The research aims to examine and analyze the influence of leadership style and motivation toward performance of employee in PT Warna Alam Indonesia. Data collected through distribution of questionnaires and it is implemented to PT Warna Alam Indonesia 60 employee. Analysis of data in this research using the help of SPSS version 16. Analysis technique used is multiple regression by the least squares equations and hypothesis testing using the t-statistic for testing the partial regression coefficients with the level of significance of 5%. It also tested validity test, regression analysi, ands the classical assumptions that included normality test, multicollinearity test and heteroscedasticity test. Based on the results of the study found no variables that deviate from the classical assumptions, this suggests that the available data has been qualified to use the model of multiple linear regression equation. From the results showed that the variable leadership style and motivation is partially positive significantly. The predictive capability of the two variables on performance employee of 39,7%

    This reaserch’s purpose is to analyze effect transfer of training, work motivation, and servant leadership toward employment’s performance PT.DEI Dumai. Fluctuating employment performance in the firm indicates that employment performance is not maximaze. Independent variabel used in the research is transfer of training, employment performance, and servant leadership. The samples of this reasearch is all employees of PT. DEI Dumai are totaled 48 employees. The method used in this research is census. This research use multiple linear regresion method and validity test, rability test, classic assumption test, test coefficient of determination, F test, t test. Based on multiple linear regresion method, shows results that transfer of training has positive effect and significant towards employees performance. The same for servant leadership has positive effect towards employees performance. Based on coefficient of determination that employees performance is effected by the transfer of training, work motivation, and servant leadership as much 85,2% where as the rest are 14,8% are effected by other variables which are not researched in this researched

    Organizational performance is good if the performance of the employees is also good. Good or bad employee performance can be influenced by various factors. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to find out how big the influence of job stress, compensation, and employee engagement on the employee performance at Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM) Kota Semarang based on organizational performance data for 2 consecutive years. This research used quantitative approach with the population of employee PDAM Tirta Moedal Kota Semarang amounting to 479 people with sample of the research counted 100 people using purposive sampling technique. The processed of data by using the help of SPSS 23.0 version, and the method used in analyzing data in this research is linear regression analysis. Based on the results of the study, it was found that: (1) work stress had a negative and significant effect on employee performance; (2) compensation has a positive and unsignificant effect on employee performance; and (3) employee engagement has a positive and significant effect on employee performance

    High employee turnover rates have negative impacts for the company, such as the loss of the training costs which have been invested for employees, new employees recruitment expenses, and delay the company's plans due to the search of new employees. It can get worse if the company loses employees who are experienced and have a good performance. Therefore, this study aimed to determine the effect of job satisfaction, nonphysical work environment, and organizational commitment to employee turnover intention. Research was conducted on the production employees of PT Indotirta Jaya Abadi, Ungaran. Data collection methods used in this study was a questionnaire. The number of samples are 60 respondent. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS. The result showed that job satisfaction and organizational commitment have negative significant affect toward turnover intention, while the non-physical work environment does not significantly affect toward turnover intention. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination in this study is 0,217 which means that the independent variable in this study may explain the dependent variable at 21,7 percent, while 78,3 percent is explained by other factors outside the model

    Employees Performance in an organization is influenced by many factors, including job training, compensation and motivation. Employees who receive compensation as expected will motivate employees to increase their performance, as well as training. Training appropriate to the job will enhance the ability of the employee, so that the performance owned will also increase. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of job training and compensation to employee performance with work motivation as an intervening variable. The population in this study are employees of Trax FM Semarang with the number 35. This study uses data analysis using PLS (Partial Least Square). The results of this study indicate that job training and compensation have no effect on employee performance Trax FM Semarang. Compensation and job training also have no impact on employee motivation Trax FM Semarang. Work motivation variable influence on employee performance. Variable job training, compensation and motivation to contribute 41.3% of the variation occurred in the performance of employees, while variable job training and compensation contributed only 17% of the variation that occurs in employee motivation

    This research aims to analyze the influence of job involvement and job satisfaction on turnover intention of employees. This research was conducted in PT. Njoja Meneer Semarang to the number of samples set 101 respondents. The method used is Purposive Sampling and method data anlysis is used multiple linear regression analysis, using SPSS program. The results of testing hypotesis, shows that job involvement has negative and significant influence on turnover intention of emloyees and Job satisfaction has negative and significant influence one turnover intention of employees. The results of determination are 0,482 indicates that the capability of independent variabels (job involvement and job satisfaction) to explaining the dependent variable (turnover intention) is 48,2%

    This research aims to examine and analyze the influence of employee’s competencies on employee's performance in PT. Mirambi Energi, Semarang who work in PLTU Site Ombilin, Sawahlunto. The background of this research is a phenomenon of employee’s performance rate in PT. Mirambi Energi who work in PLTU Site Ombilin, Sawahlunto in the year of 2015 and 2016 has a fluctuation. This research used three independent variables, including knowledge, skills, and employee’s abilities. The research was conducted quantitatively by collecting data through questionnaires. The sampling technique used census sample with 42 employees as the respondents. This research used SPSS for data testing and also use analytical method including validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression test, F test, and coefficient of determination test (R2). The results showed that the variables of knowledge, skills, and abilities have a significant positive effect on employee’s performance in PT. Mirambi Energi, Semarang. The employee’s performance in PT. Mirambi Energi is influenced by knowledge, skills, and ability of employees equal to 54%, while the rest 46% influenced by other variable which are not use in this research

Though currently vape trend is getting in demand so consumers who are looking for vape pretty much. Based on the results of prasurvey conducted, it appears that the decline in sales is allegedly caused by the strength of the original brand is not very good, the original vape price is considered expensive and the distribution of goods that are less evenly distributed. This study aims to analyze the influence of brand equity, price and distribution of the original vape purchase decision in Semarang. The population used in this study is all Vape consumers in Semarang. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. Sampling criteria were 96 vape consumer in Semarang. Methods of data collection in this study using questionnaires. Methods of data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of brand equity, price and distribution have a positive effect on the purchase decision of original vape in Semarang. The original vape purchase decision in Semarang can be explained by brand equity, price and distribution of 81%
