Uma proposta de classificação de analogias para o ensino nas ciências da saúde

    Get PDF

Plasticidade Fenotípico-vegetativa De Oeceoclades Maculata (lindl.) Lindl. (orchidaceae) Em Dois Ambientes De área Florestada

Phenotypic plasticity is the genotypic capacity in producing different phenotypes as a response to different environmental conditions. The invading orchid Oeceoclades maculata has high adaptative capacity related to the colonization of different habitats, particularly, anthropic ones. Current paper provides morphobiometric analyses of the species to report plastic-phenotypic-vegetative adaptations in two luminic environments in the Arboreto de Essências Nativas, in Araras SP Brazil. Fifty specimens of Oeceoclades maculata, featuring physiological maturity, were collected from the edge and the interior of the forest fragment. The following biometric data were taken: mean number of roots and pseudobulbs, leaves, mean length of roots and pseudobulbs, leaves, mean diameter of leaves and pseudobulbs, mean length and thickness of leaves, fresh mass of roots and pseudobulbs and leaves, dry mass of roots and pseudobulbs and leaves. Phenotypic plasticity index was calculated for all morphobiometric variables. Morphobiometric variables revealed plastic-phenotypic-vegetative adaptations in Oeceoclades maculata specimens in different environments of the Arboreto de Essências Nativas. Adaptations are mainly co-related to luminic conditions on the fragmentś edge and interior.9363564

Quasiparticle Interactions in Fractional Quantum Hall Systems: Justification of Different Hierarchy Schemes

The pseudopotentials describing the interactions of quasiparticles in fractional quantum Hall (FQH) states are studied. Rules for the identification of incompressible quantum fluid ground states are found, based upon the form of the pseudopotentials. States belonging to the Jain sequence nu=n/(1+2pn), where n and p are integers, appear to be the only incompressible states in the thermodynamic limit, although other FQH hierarchy states occur for finite size systems. This explains the success of the composite Fermion picture.Comment: RevTeX, 10 pages, 7 EPS figures, submitted fo Phys.Rev.

Adsorption Of A Copper (ii) Complex On Calcium Phosphate Intercalated With 4-aminobenzoic Acid -synthesis And Electrochemical Investigation

In this study, the adsorption isotherm of copper (II) on a calcium phosphate host intercalated with 4-aminobenzoic acid in an ethanol solution was investigated. This gave a maximum adsorption capacity of 1.74 mmol g -1. The material was incorporated into a carbon-paste electrode, and its electrochemical properties were investigated. However, for a dopamine solution, the anodic peak current increased owing to the electrocatalytic oxidation. The electrode presented the same response for at least 150 successive measurements, showing good repeatability. The modified electrode is very stable and reproducible. The electrode sensor was successfully applied for dopamine determination in pharmaceutical preparations.36811701175Song, S., Clark, R.A., Bowden, E.F., Taylor, M.J., (1993) J. Phys. Dermatophylosis in Santa Inês sheep from Distrito Federal

    Get PDF
Four cases of dermatophylosis were reported in Santa Inês sheep in a study period of one year. Microscopically, septate filaments and coccoid forms zoospores were observed. Attempts to isolate the microorganisms were accomplished using Haastra's method and it was successful in only one case. Dermatophilus congolensis samples have grown on blood agar, colonies where hemolytic, small, round and pigmentation vary from yellow to orange. The gram staining method was efficient to confirm the presence of the microorganism affecting the epidermis due to typical morphology of the agent
