Survival of quantum effects for observables after decoherence
When a quantum nonlinear system is linearly coupled to an infinite bath of
harmonic oscillators, quantum coherence of the system is lost on a decoherence
time-scale . Nevertheless, quantum effects for observables may still
survive environment-induced decoherence, and be observed for times much larger
than the decoherence time-scale. In particular, we show that the Ehrenfest
time, which characterizes a departure of quantum dynamics for observables from
the corresponding classical dynamics, can be observed for a quasi-classical
nonlinear oscillator for times . We discuss this observation in
relation to recent experiments on quantum nonlinear systems in the
quasi-classical region of parameters.Comment: submitted to PR
Hubungan Peran Perawat Sebagai Care Giver Dengan Kualitas Hidup Pasien Penyakit Ginjal Kronik Yang Menjalani Hemodialisis Di Rsup Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Manado
: The quality of life is an individually perception about the whole of their life. Basicly, patient CKD undergoing hemodialysis have a bad quality of life, but will increase with some factor, one of which is influenced by the nurse's role as care giver. The purpose of this study were to the determine relationship nurse's role as care giver with patient's quality of life. The sample in this study is 30 nurse's and 41 patient's hemodialysis. The design study is a descriptive analytic with cross-sectional design were the information will collecting by using questionnaire. The research results spearman test there is have meaningful relationship between nurse's role as care giver with patient's quality of life (p = 0,000). The conclusion there is have relationship between nurse role as care giver with patient quality of life undergoing hemodialysis in RSUP Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Manado. The recomendation for further is expected to be a reference for more research on the role of nurses with quality of life
Definition of the stimulated emission threshold in high- nanoscale lasers through phase-space reconstruction
Nanoscale lasers sustain few optical modes so that the fraction of
spontaneous emission funnelled into the useful (lasing) mode is high
(of the order of few 10) and the threshold, which traditionally
corresponds to an abrupt kink in the light in- light out curve, becomes
ill-defined. We propose an alternative definition of the threshold, based on
the dynamical response of the laser, which is valid even for lasers.
The laser dynamics is analyzed through a reconstruction of its phase-space
trajectory for pulsed excitation. Crossing the threshold brings about a change
in the shape of the trajectory and in the area contained in it. An unambiguous
definition of the threshold in terms of this change is shown theoretically and
illustrated experimentally in a photonic crystal laser
Pengaruh Penyuluhan Kesehatan Terhadap Pengetahuan Perilaku Klien Hipertensi Di Puskesmas Bahu Manado
: Background: Hypertension is high blood pressure that is settled that the cause may not be known (essential hypertension, idiopathic or primary) or associated with other diseases (secondary hypertension). Based on data from Bahu Health Centers Manado mentioned in the period January 2014 to March 2014 there were a total of 207 patients with hypertension. Purpose of this research was to find out effect of health education on the knowledge of the client's behavior hypertension in Bahu Health Centers Manado. The research method used is pre experimental design with âOne group Pre test post testâ in one group. Sample in this study were 59 people, data processed by Wilcoxon Sign Rank test with significance (α) = 0.05. Results showed that there was a effect of health education on knowledge of the client's behavior hypertension in Bahu Health Centers Manado, where before it was given health education clients have less knowledge of the behavior of both (56%) and health education was given after the client has knowledge of good behavior (100%). based on Wilcoxon statistical test obtained r = 0.000, which meant p was smaller than α (0,05). Conclusion of this research there was a effect of health education on knowledge of the client's behavior hypertension in Bahu Health Centers Manado. Suggestion this research can be made in the new source in improving the quality of healthcare by making health counseling
Effects of scan direction and orientation on mechanical properties of laser sintered polyamide-12
In order to understand the impact of layer-wise scanning direction in the Selective Laser Sintering process, test coupons were manufactured for mechanical testing from DuraFormâą Polyamide powder. The effects of laser energy density, varying between 0.003 and 0.024 J/mm2 were examined in test specimens rotated 90Âș through the Z axis. SLS machines do not always facilitate âcross-hatchingâ of layers and therefore orientation has a major influence on part quality. When employed, the cross-hatching technique scans successive layers perpendicularly to the previous. Studying how parts perform with scan lines in a common direction, will assist in the understanding of how SLS parts behave in practice. Results showed that physical density, tensile strength and elongation rose with energy density up to 0.012 J/mmÂČ. This initial rise was due to a continued improvement in particle fusion with increasing energy density. Above 0.012 J/mmÂČ, these properties started to decline at different rates depending on their orientation (scan direction) on the part bed. Specimenâs oriented perpendicularly to the X axis exhibited a greater elongation at the expense of tensile strength, when compared to parallel specimens
The photophysical properties and electronic structures of ((2E, 2âE)-1, 1â-[chalcogen bis (4, 1-phenylene)] bis [3-(4-chlorophenyl) prop-2-en-1-one] derivatives as hole-transporting materials for organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs). Quantum chemical investigations
In order to propose new organic materials for organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) applications, The quantum chemical calculations have been performed on four molecules M0 ((2E, 2âE)-1, 1â (selenobis (4, 1phenylene)) bis (bis (3-(4-chlorophenyl) prop-2en-1-one)), M1 ((2E, 2âE)-1, 1â (thiobis (4, 1phenylene)) bis (bis (3-(4-chlorophenyl) prop-2en-1-one)), M2 ((2E, 2âE)-1, 1â (oxybis (4, 1phenylene)) bis (bis (3-(4-chlorophenyl) prop-2en-1-one)), M3 ((2E, 2âE)-1, 1â (azanediylbis (4, 1phenylene)) bis (bis (3-(4-chlorophenyl) prop-2en-1-one)).The principal objective of this work is to study the effect of Chalcogen (O, S, and Se) and nitrogen (N) on geometrical, electronic, optical, and charge transfer properties of these compounds by setting their ionization potentials (IP), their electron affinities (EA), their chemical reactivity indices, their reorganization energies, their electrostatic potential as well as the nonlinear optical (NLO) properties. The geometry of these studied compounds was obtained after optimization in their fundamental states by using the functional density theory (DFT) with the B3LYP method and the basis set 6-311G (d, p). The studied parameters determined from the most stable conformation of each studied molecule. The time-dependent density theory method TD-DFT-B3LYP 6-311G (d, p) was used for the study of absorption. The results of the theoretical calculations show that the mentioned parameters above are affected by the change of atoms O, S, Se, and NH. The smaller hole and electron reorganization energies of these molecules suggest possible use in OLEDs.
