Addition theorems for spin spherical harmonics. II Results
Based on the results of part I, we obtain the general form of the addition
theorem for spin spherical harmonics and give explicit results in the cases
involving one spin- and one spin- spherical harmonics with ,
1, 3/2, and , 1. We obtain also a fully general addition theorem for
one scalar and one tensor spherical harmonic of arbitrary rank. A variety of
bilocal sums of ordinary and spin spherical harmonics are given in explicit
form, including a general explicit expression for bilocal spherical harmonics
A Matlab tool for Cox Processes with truncated Gaussian mean
The truncated Gaussian distribution rises in many practical situations, the aim of this paper is to give some tools to solve common tasks within this kind of random variables. A modified maximum likelihood estimation of the parameters of the distribution from an observed data set is given, we also implement a goodness-of- t test for a theoretical truncated Gaussian distribution. Finally, if we assume that the mean of a Cox process at each instant of time is distributed as a truncated Gaussian distribution, we give the most probable value of the process at a given time point.FQM347, MTM2010-2050
Addition theorems for spin spherical harmonics. I Preliminaries
We develop a systematic approach to deriving addition theorems for, and some
other bilocal sums of, spin spherical harmonics. In this first part we
establish some necessary technical results. We discuss the factorization of
orbital and spin degrees of freedom in certain products of Clebsch-Gordan
coefficients, and obtain general explicit results for the matrix elements in
configuration space of tensor products of arbitrary rank of the position and
angular-momentum operators. These results are the basis of the addition
theorems for spin spherical harmonics obtained in part II
Cox process goodness-of-fit test. A Matlab file.
The Cox Process (CP) models many real phenomena dealing with counting data. Having observed sample paths of a counting process in a discrete set of time points and assuming that the phenomenon can be modeled by a Cox process or compound Cox process, an important
task is to decide if those paths fit a given model. A goodnes-of-fit test to assess the coherence of the new observed data with the given Cox process has been proposed by the authors, taking into account if the process is parametrically known or it has to be estimated. This paper deals with a computational tool to support the test.FQM-307, FQM-246, MTM2010-2050
Intermittency in Branching Processes
We study the intermittency properties of two branching processes, one with a
uniform and another with a singular splitting kernel. The asymptotic
intermittency indices, as well as the leading corrections to the asymptotic
linear regime are explicitly computed in an analytic framework. Both models are
found to possess a monofractal spectrum with . Relations with
previous results are discussed.Comment: 20 pages, UCLA93/TEP/2
This work analyse the relationship between the Congenital
Dysplasia of the Hip and blood group.
116 newborns diagnosed of Congenital Hip Dysplasia are included
in the study, and in all of them are applied the parameters of
ABO and Rh groups.
As comparative group, it comput e the phenotypic frecuencies
of Spanish and galician population to observe their behaviour.
They conclude that the patients with Congenital Dysplasia of the
Hip show a pattern of erythrocytic antigens of surface own and
different of the normal population
