The present article deals about the question, whether existing concepts of case may produce wrong ideas about the linguistic facts of modern western languages with Indoeuropean roots as well at an idiomatic level as in contrastive grammar. By defining the relation between configuration and morphological and syntagmatic declination a new model will be designed, able to resituate the corresponding phenomena in monolingual and contrastive approaches and bound to open new horizons in description and intermediation.
DYW-type PPR proteins in a heterolobosean protist: Plant RNA editing factors involved in an ancient horizontal gene transfer?
AbstractA particular type of pentatricopeptide repeat (PPR) proteins with variable length of the 35 aa PPR motifs and conserved carboxyterminal extensions, named the PLS proteins, was so far exclusively identified in land plants. Several PLS proteins with such domain extensions (E, E+, DYW) were shown to be involved in plant organellar RNA editing but their evolutionary origin had remained enigmatic. We here report the first case of DYW-type PLS proteins outside of the plant kingdom in the protist Naegleria gruberi and hypothesize on horizontal gene transfer in very early land plant evolution
Heidegger and the notion of prescience (Vorwissenschaft) as existential propaedeutic. (Part 2: The extante of the death)
Introduction. The following work is a continuation of an earlier one, “Heidegger and the notion of prescience
(Vorwissenschaft) as existential propaedeutic. (Part 1: The affection of the time)”2
. Therefore, the reference
source is also Heidegger conference Der Begriff der Zeit. But in this article we address the consequences of the
binomial hermeneutical time / death without leaving the distinctive area of “prescience”. Thus, further develop
the implications of a knowledge that can not claim go beyond finitude. Methodology. We have developed this
work by analyzing genealogical hermeneutic character based on the deployment of beingness. Results and
conclusions. The existing lives the present installed in the presence of death, determining the here and now in
the mode of a “not yet”, which was established as the true being of time
Heidegger and the notion of prescience (Vorwissenschaft) as existential propaedeutic. (Part 1: The affection of the time)
Introduction. This article deals with Heidegger’s notion of “prescience” (Vorwissenschaft), since it
addresses knowing and thinking, and the incidence of existing features in their activities. First of all
there is existence, which is the condition of possibility for any discipline. Time, which determines existence,
will become the radical phenomenon that defines human being as Dasein. This is the term given to
the subject of “prescience” and that we will translate as Extar, because we believe that this is the best
way to understand thinking as characterized by finitude. Methodology. We have developed this work
through a hermeneutic analysis of a genealogical nature based on the deployment of beingness. Results
and conclusions. Time is not a scientific subject but a pre-scientific one and so it is a topic that concerns
ontology rather than science. Not a physical phenomenon but an affective phenomenon
Mg-bearing quartz solid solutions as structural intermediates between low and high quartz
Glass powder samples of cordierite composition (doped with 8 mol% TiO2) were heat-treated to produce a series of increasingly SiO2-enriched Mg-bearing quartz solid solutions (Qss). The obtained materials were then analyzed by X-ray diffraction: Rietveld structural refinements revealed that Mg-bearing Qss phases possess trigonal symmetry and a compositionally dependent intermediate structural arrangement between those of low and high quartz. High-temperature diffraction measurements were performed up to 700°C to characterize the thermal expansion behavior of the crystals. At SiO 2-rich compositions, a reversible high-to-intermediate inversion of the quartz structure is observed, which shifts with increasing stuffing to lower temperatures than the conventional 573°C for pure quartz. Similarities and differences to the better-established Li-bearing Qss are discussed in the text
The experimental gas-phase structures of 1,3,5-trisilylbenzene and hexasilylbenzene and the theoretical structures of all benzenes with three or more silyl substituents
The structures of 1,3,5-trisilylbenzene and hexasilylbenzene in the gas phase have been determined by electron diffraction, and that of 1,3,5-trisilylbenzene by X-ray crystallography. The structures of three trisilylbenzene isomers, three tetrasilylbenzenes, pentasilylbenzene and hexasilylbenzene have been computed, ab initio and using Density Functional Theory, at levels up to MP2/6-31G*. The primary effect of silyl substituents is to narrow the ring angle at the substituted carbon atoms. Steric interactions between silyl groups on neighbouring carbon atoms lead first to displacement of these groups away from one another, and then to displacement out of the ring plane, with alternate groups moving to opposite sides of the ring. In the extreme example, hexasilylbenzene, the SiCCSi dihedral angle is 17.8(8)°
Analytical Results for Multifractal Properties of Spectra of Quasiperiodic Hamiltonians near the Periodic Chain
The multifractal properties of the electronic spectrum of a general
quasiperiodic chain are studied in first order in the quasiperiodic potential
strength. Analytical expressions for the generalized dimensions are found and
are in good agreement with numerical simulations. These first order results do
not depend on the irrational incommensurability.Comment: 10 Pages in RevTeX, 2 Postscript figure
(Autorenreferat
