The delinquency is an act or acts of violation of norms, both legal norms and social norms committed by children younger ages. Criminal offenses committed by children, was like a criminal act has been committed by an adult even beyond criminal offenses committed by adults.Based on this understanding, the authors formulated two formulation of the problem, namely: First, What is the urgency of renewing the age limit of children in Act No. 11 of 2012 on the Criminal Justice System Children associated with the criminal responsibility of children to children who commit criminal acts. Second, How are ideally age and criminal liability of children in the Criminal Code of children who commit criminal acts. This type of research can be classified in normative law research (legal research) or also called the research literature, because in this study the authors conducted a normative juridical approach under study is library materials or secondary data, which consists of primary legal materials, secondary law, and tertiary legal materials, while the collection of data used in the writing of this study is to use the method of assessment literature or documentary study then analyze the data quantitatively, which is basically the highlighting of the problem and attempt to solve, undertaken with the efforts that many are based on measurements which solves the objects of research in certain elements, then pulled a generalization of the widest possible scope. From the research there are three main issues which can be summarized as follows: First, provide awareness especially to writers and readers in general urgency of renewing the age limit of children in Act No. 11 of 2012 on the Criminal Justice System Children associated with the criminal responsibility of children. Second, to sensitize the general public about the ideal age limit and criminal liability of children in the Criminal Code of children who become perpetrators of criminal acts. Third, contribute ideas and tools to encourage fellow students to continue further research on the renewal of an age limit of children in Act No. 11 of 2012 on the Criminal Justice System Children on children who commit criminal acts

Nowadays, human sensory and motor skills enhancement is very important to be alert from the effect of the Society 5.0 era. We propose the novel approach to enhance human sensory and motor skills using collaboration of senses focus and body parts gesture in no-touch3D interactive aircraft game. A player interacts with a virtual display using gestures of his body, arm, hand, or collaboration of them as a controller to engage in a 3D game. This game is based on an aircraft education theme. By sweeping the hand to the left or right, a player can select one of many different aircraft models according to its specification and performance are shown on the screen based on the estimation of his current skill. The mission is to control aircraft avoiding the random balls attack to prevent a collision. Hand and arm are positioned above a leap motion sensor and in front of a camera. The body, arm, and hand gesture directions are to forward or backward from the screen to the right or left, and also to up or down freely. This system is developed by using Unity 3D, OpenCV, and Python. Many skills are possible to be improved, e.g., motivation, discipline, safety awareness, endurance management, strategy, precision, intelligence, creativity, reliability, toughness, and vision. This project has been tested in the Air Force Museum of Dirgantara Mandala involving more than 1000 visitors as testing participants, and they all feel satisfied. The score is calculated by time in second. The results show endurance time is 32% (<60 s), 31% (<120 s), 25% (<160 s), and 12 % (180 s) of the total300 seconds of the gam

    Near-brane SU(6) origin Higgs in Scherk-Schwarz breaking of five-dimensional SU(6) GUT

The symmetry breaking of five-dimensional SU(6) GUT is realized by Scherk-Schwarz mechanisms through trivial and pseudo nontrivial orbifold S1/Z2 breakings to produce dimensional deconstruction 5D SU(6) \rightarrow4D SU(6). The latter also induces near-brane weakly-coupled SU(6) Baby Higgs to further break the symmetry into SU(3)C \otimes SU(3)H \otimes U(1)C. The model successfully provides a scenario of the origin of (Little) Higgs from GUT scale, produces the (intermediate and light) Higgs boson with the most preferred range and establishes coupling unification and compactification scale correctly.Comment: 23 pages, 5 figure

Pengurangan Subsidi BBM Dan Polusi Udara Melalui Kebijakan Program Konversi Dari BBM Ke BBG Untuk Kendaraan Di Propinsi Jawa Barat

The number of vehicle that use oil (BBM) is increasing every year in Indonesia while national oil reserve become smaller, so that the oil should be imported. The impact of using oil are increasing subsidy and air pollution. Thus, it is now becoming important to replace oil with another environmentally friendly energy, one of them is gas (BBG). Based on the number of vehicle and infrastructure in gas pipeline, part of northern West Java potentially can be chosen for the implementation of conversion program to gas (BBG). The number of vehicle in potential regions such as Depok, Cibinong, Bogor, Bekasi, Cikarang, Karawang, Purwakarta, Cirebon, and Bandung are around 875,505 units. From these data, we simulated the potential profit to be gained each year by converting 10% for the first year and increasing it to 5% for every year. By investing 3.16 trillion for conversion, 14.9 trillion can be achieved in the form of fuel subsidy savings. In addition, emission reduction converted to a CDM (clean development mechanism) can become local revenues. Total CDM generated during 5 years predicted is of U.S $ 772,385. From this study, it can be concluded that converting oil (BBM) to gas (BBG) is highly beneficial

ZSM-5-TiO2 composites are usually used as adsorbents as well as photocatalyst in waste treatment. However, these composites are less effective insoluble waste treatment, so it needs to modify by adding organic substances that can react with the waste. In this study, Octadecyltrimethoxysilane (OTMS) was added to the surface of the ZSM-5-TiO2 composite. The effect of addition OTMS on morphology ZSM-5-TiO2 composite was studied. ZSM-5-TiO2-OTMS composite was characterized by X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), Fourier Transformation Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), and Energy Dispersive X-ray Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM-EDX). ZSM-5-TiO2-OTMS shows a carbon-related peak at 2900 and 1470 cm−1 that can be ascribed as C-H stretching and C-O stretching vibration respectively from FTIR spectra. ZSM-5-TiO2-OTMS composite retains the hexagonal shape surrounded by round-shaped. The addition of OTMS affects the morphology of the ZSM-5-TiO2 composite. The more OTMS is added, the morphology of the ZSM-5-TiO2-OTMS composite to be more irregular than composite ZSM-5-TiO2. It also affects the amount of carbon content that is distributed on the surface of the ZSM-5-TiO2 composite. This provides information material that can be used in synthesize catalysts in the insoluble waste treatment

Next-to-leading order predictions for Z gamma+jet and Z gamma gamma final states at the LHC

We present next-to-leading order predictions for final states containing leptons produced through the decay of a Z boson in association with either a photon and a jet, or a pair of photons. The effect of photon radiation from the final state leptons is included and we also allow for contributions arising from fragmentation processes. Phenomenological studies are presented for the LHC in the case of final states containing charged leptons and in the case of neutrinos. We also use the procedure introduced by Stewart and Tackmann to provide a reliable estimate of the scale uncertainty inherent in our theoretical calculations of jet-binned Z gamma cross sections. These computations have been implemented in the public code MCFM.Comment: 30 pages, 10 figure

Perceptions of the appropriate response to norm violation in 57 societies

    Get PDF
Norm enforcement may be important for resolving conflicts and promoting cooperation. However, little is known about how preferred responses to norm violations vary across cultures and across domains. In a preregistered study of 57 countries (using convenience samples of 22,863 students and non-students), we measured perceptions of the appropriateness of various responses to a violation of a cooperative norm and to atypical social behaviors. Our findings highlight both cultural universals and cultural variation. We find a universal negative relation between appropriateness ratings of norm violations and appropriateness ratings of responses in the form of confrontation, social ostracism and gossip. Moreover, we find the country variation in the appropriateness of sanctions to be consistent across different norm violations but not across different sanctions. Specifically, in those countries where use of physical confrontation and social ostracism is rated as less appropriate, gossip is rated as more appropriate.info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersio

Examining the generalizability of research findings from archival data

    Get PDF
This initiative examined systematically the extent to which a large set of archival research findings generalizes across contexts. We repeated the key analyses for 29 original strategic management effects in the same context (direct reproduction) as well as in 52 novel time periods and geographies; 45% of the reproductions returned results matching the original reports together with 55% of tests in different spans of years and 40% of tests in novel geographies. Some original findings were associated with multiple new tests. Reproducibility was the best predictor of generalizability-for the findings that proved directly reproducible, 84% emerged in other available time periods and 57% emerged in other geographies. Overall, only limited empirical evidence emerged for context sensitivity. In a forecasting survey, independent scientists were able to anticipate which effects would find support in tests in new samples
