Globalizations for partial (co)actions on coalgebras

In this paper, we introduce the notion of globalization for partial module coalgebra and for partial comodule coalgebra. We show that every partial module coalgebra is globalizable exhibiting a standard globalization. We also show the existence of globalization for a partial comodule coalgebra, provided a certain rationality condition. Moreover, we show a relationship between the globalization for the (co)module coalgebra and the usual globalization for the (co)module algebra.Comment: 31 page

Uma iniciativa da coordenação de Pesquisa e Extensão da UFSM – Campus Cachoeira do sul, a 2ª Mostra de Projetos do ano de 2018 agregou uma série de trabalhos voltados as mais diversas áreas do conhecimento, relacionados à Pesquisa, Ensino e Extensão. Salientamos que os artigos que compõe esta edição especial da Revista Ciência e Natura correspondem a resultados de pesquisas em fase inicial realizada por discentes dos cursos de Engenharia Agrícola, Engenharia Elétrica, Engenharia Mecânica, Engenharia de Transportes e Logística e Arquitetura e Urbanismo, tendo como orientadores docentes das mais diversas áreas de conhecimento, impactando na interdisciplinaridade.

Conexões entre grafos e matrizes na modelagem de problemas matemáticos

Graphs theory is very important in the mathematical world as an excellent way of connecting with the real world. By using the theory of directed graphs it is possible to transform many of the everyday problems into mathematical problems, so as to make an exact study in each case. In this work we explore the matrices related to the various types of graphs, such as the vertex matrix, which is associated with a directed graph, and the adjacency matrix. Moreover, matrices of multi-step connections are constructed so as to separate the various blades between the vertices of a directed graph. Then, we will construct some applications of those results in the form of examples.A teoria dos grafos é muito importante no mundo matemático como uma excelente forma de conexão com o mundo real. Utilizando-se a teoria de grafos dirigidos é possível transformar muitos dos problemas cotidianos em problemas matemáticos, de forma a fazer um estudo exato em cada caso. Neste trabalho são exploradas as matrizes relacionadas aos diversos tipos de grafos, como a matriz de vértices, a qual é associada a um grafo dirigido, e a matriz de adjacência. Mais do que isso, são construídas matrizes de conexões de vários passos, de forma a criar múltiplas conexões entre os vértices de um grafo dirigido. Em seguida, colocaremos diversas aplicações destes resultados na forma de exemplos

Partial corepresentations of Hopf Algebras

We introduce the notion of a partial corepresentation of a given Hopf algebra $H$ over a coalgebra $C$ and the closely related concept of a partial $H$-comodule. We prove that there exists a universal coalgebra $H^{par}$, associated to the original Hopf algebra $H$, such that the category of regular partial $H$-comodules is isomorphic to the category of $H^{par}$-comodules. We introduce the notion of a Hopf coalgebroid and show that the universal coalgebra $H^{par}$ has the structure of a Hopf coalgebroid over a suitable coalgebra.Comment: 41 papes, v2:several small corrections, final version as accepted for publication in Journal of Algebr

This work shows the trajectory of Cachoeira do Sul campus in search terms, showing a brief history of the rise of the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM), insertion in Cachoeira do Sul, statistics on education, research and extension, infrastructure available and currently used, highlighting some important points, such as the “Awards and Transfer of Technology through Research and Extension” held at the Cachoeira do Sul campus, “Scientific and Technological Training” and the “Project Show”, an action that encourages the inclusion of academics in the scientific environment, contributing to their education as a professional and academic.Este trabalho mostra a trajetória do campus de Cachoeira do Sul em termos de pesquisa, mostrando um breve histórico do surgimento da Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM), inserção em Cachoeira do Sul, estatísticas acerca do ensino, pesquisa e extensão, infraestrutura disponível e utilizada atualmente, com destaque a alguns pontos importantes, como o caso dos “Prêmios e Transferência de Tecnologia através da Pesquisa e Extensão” realizada no campus de Cachoeira do Sul, “Formação Científica e Tecnológica” e a “Mostra de Projetos”, ação que instiga a inserção de acadêmicos no meio científico, contribuindo para a sua formação enquanto profissional e acadêmico

Forecasting incidence of tuberculosis cases in Brazil based on various univariate time-series models

Tuberculosis (TB) remains the world\u27s deadliest infectious disease and is a serious public health problem. Control for this disease still presents several difficulties, requiring strategies for the execution of immediate combat and intervention actions. Given that changes through the decision-making process are guided by current information and future prognoses, it is critical that a country\u27s public health managers rely on accurate predictions that can detect the evolving incidence phenomena. of TB. Thus, this study aims to analyze the accuracy of predictions of three univariate models based on time series of diagnosed TB cases in Brazil, from January 2001 to June 2018, in order to establish which model presents better performance. For the second half of 2018. From this, data were collected from the Department of Informatics of the Unified Health System (DATASUS), which were submitted to the methods of Simple Exponential Smoothing (SES), Holt-Winters Exponential Smoothing (HWES) and the Integrated Autoregressive Moving Average (ARIMA) model. In the performance analysis and model selection, six criteria based on precision errors were established: Mean Square Error (MSE), Root Mean Square Error (RMSE), Mean Absolute Error (MAE), Mean Absolute Percent Error (MAPE) and Theil\u27s U statistic (U1 and U2). According to the results obtained, the HWES (0.2, 0.1, 0.1) presented a high performance in relation to the error metrics, consisting of the best model compared to the other two methodologies compared here

Mostraremos de duas maneiras diferentes (uma delas usando o Teorema da Base Normal e a outra não) que se um corpo L é uma extensão finita um corpo K e G é um subgrupo dos K -automorfismos de L, então L é um K [G]-módulo a esquerda livre com exatamente [LG : K ] geradores. Mais ainda, se c(K ) /= 2 e N é o fecho normal de L/K com [N : K ] ímpar, então conseguimos dar uma interessante estrutura de espaço quadrático a L. Esta dissertação foi elaborada com base no artigo de P.
