Impact of the relatively light fourth family neutrino on the Higgs boson search
The existence of a fourth fermion generation has mostly been considered as a
source of enhanced Higgs signals with respect to the 3 family Standard Model
predictions. However, a fourth Standard Model family neutrino could cause the
opposite situation. It is shown that relatively light fourth family neutrino
(2m_(nu_(4))<m_(H)) could drastically change the interpretation of the search
results for the Higgs boson, especially if m_(H)<170 GeV.Comment: 5 pages, 9 figure
Фармакокинетические исследования лекарственной формы нового стимулятора когнитивных функций мозга OSPL-502
The main pharmacokinetic parameters of a new stimulator of cognitive brain functions, OSPL – 502 have been determined: area under the concentration-time curve, elimination rate constant, half-elimination period, time to reach the maximum concentration, maximum concentration, volume distribution, total clearance and bioavailability of the dosage form. The main metabolites of the active substance of the dosage form of the new stimulator of cognitive functions OSPL – 502 have been analyzed. The data obtained predict the effects of the drug in humans relevant for further clinical investigation.
The results of in vitro studies demonstrate cytotoxic activity alantolactone and isoalantolactone, presented in the elecampane plant (Inula helenium) of the natural sesquiterpene lactones. These compounds show toxicity against human cancer cell lines: MS, A549, HCT116, MCF7, RD and K562. The involvement of the p53 signaling pathway in the death of tumor cells, as well as the contribution of reactive oxygen species (ROS) formation during cell death, was studied.
Neutralino-Nucleon Cross Section and Charge and Colour Breaking Constraints
We compute the neutralino-nucleon cross section in several supersymmetric
scenarios, taking into account all kind of constraints. In particular, the
constraints that the absence of dangerous charge and colour breaking minima
imposes on the parameter space are studied in detail. In addition, the most
recent experimental constraints, such as the lower bound on the Higgs mass, the
branching ratio, and the muon are considered. The
astrophysical bounds on the dark matter density are also imposed on the
theoretical computation of the relic neutralino density, assuming thermal
production. This computation is relevant for the theoretical analysis of the
direct detection of dark matter in current experiments. We consider first the
supergravity scenario with universal soft terms and GUT scale. In this scenario
the charge and colour breaking constraints turn out to be quite important, and
\tan\beta\lsim 20 is forbidden. Larger values of can also be
forbidden, depending on the value of the trilinear parameter . Finally, we
study supergravity scenarios with an intermediate scale, and also with
non-universal scalar and gaugino masses where the cross section can be very
large.Comment: Final version to appear in JHE
Lower limit on the neutralino mass in the general MSSM
We discuss constraints on SUSY models with non-unified gaugino masses and R_P
conservation. We derive a lower bound on the neutralino mass combining the
direct limits from LEP, the indirect limits from gmuon, bsgamma, Bsmumu and the
relic density constraint from WMAP. The lightest neutralino (mneutralino=6GeV)
is found in models with a light pseudoscalar with MA<200GeV and a large value
for . Models with heavy pseudoscalars lead to mneutralino>18(29)GeV
for . We show that even a very conservative bound from the
muon anomalous magnetic moment can increase the lower bound on the neutralino
mass in models with mu<0 and/or large values of . We then examine
the potential of the Tevatron and the direct detection experiments to probe the
SUSY models with the lightest neutralinos allowed in the context of light
pseudoscalars with high . We also examine the potential of an e+e-
collider of 500GeV to produce SUSY particles in all models with neutralinos
lighter than the W. In contrast to the mSUGRA models, observation of at least
one sparticle is not always guaranteed.Comment: 37 pages, LateX, 16 figures, paper with higher resolution figures

SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT IN THE PHILOSOPHY OF GLOBAL CONSTITUTIONALISM: A SOCIO-PHILOSOPHICAL ANALYSIS
The fundamental laws of social development are investigated in the interpretation of the concept of global constitutionalism. The author concludes that social development within the framework of the philosophy of global constitutionalism is entirely subordinate to the logic of the preservation and development of the world capitalist system, which allows to preserve power and property in the hands of global governing elites in the person of the global governing class. Research objective: to analyze social development in the interpretation of the socio-philosophical concept of global constitutionalism, to constitute its fundamental laws. Object of research: the phenomenon of globalization of socio-political, state -legal and financial -economic development of national societies and states as a phenomenon of social reality, highlighted in the social concept of global constitutionalism. Subject of research: theoretical content of social development in the interpretation of the philosophy of global constitutionalism in relation to its social essence
1,5-Diaryl-3-oxo-1,4-pentadienes based on (4-oxopiperidin-1-yl)(aryl)methyl phosphonate scaffold: synthesis and antitumor properties
Novel 3,5-bis(arylidene)-4-piperidones modified with diethyl[(aryl)methyl]phosphonate moiety attached to the piperidone nitrogen atom have been synthesized by crotonic condensation of aromatic aldehydes with diethyl[(4-oxopiperidin-1-yl)(aryl)methyl]phosphonates in the presence of LiClO4/Et3N system or acetonitrile solution of boron trifluoride etherate. The synthesized phosphonate derivatives of 3,5-bis(arylidene)-4-piperidone series displayed inhibitory properties toward RD, PC3, HCT116, and MCF7 human cancer cell lines with IC50 values in the range of 2.5–8.5 μM, as assessed by an in vitro 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide assay. © 2016, Springer Science+Business Media New York
