Neutrino nucleus cross sections for low energy neutrinos at SNS facilities
We calculate the neutrino nucleus cross sections for charged lepton
production relevant for the experiments proposed with the stopped muon
neutrinos using neutron spallation source facility. The calculations are done
in local density approximation taking into account Pauli blocking, Fermi motion
effects and renormalization of weak transition strengths in the nuclear medium.
The effect of Coulomb distortion of the lepton produced in charge current
reactions is taken into account by using the Fermi function as well as in a
model where an effective momentum has been used for the lepton moving in the
local Coulomb field of the final nucleus. The numerical results for the
neutrino nucleus total cross sections averaged over Michel spectrum are
presented for various nuclei.Comment: 16pages, 9figures, Submitted to Nucl. Phys.

Lepton-induced weak interactions in A = 12 nuclei and the weak nuclear form factors
We have investigated the total and differential cross section for the reactions N\sb{i}(l\u27, l) N\sb{f} for the system of nuclei under various conditions. A kinematical singularity at the maximal angle in the differential cross section for the outgoing nucleus is eliminated. Also, the behavior of the differential cross section for incoming leptons of energies, up to 3 GeV is examined. In the light of two recent experiments\sp{1,2}, we investigated the effect of a large pseudoscalar form factor. Making use of new data, we obtain an improved functional form for the weak magnetism form factor, and its effect on the cross section has been examined in detail

The Inclusive Muon Neutrino Reaction In 12C
We calculate the charged current inclusive cross section for the reaction, v(sub)u +12C ->u^- + X, from the threshold to 300 MeV.In addition we obtain the average cross section over the spectrum currently being produced at LAMPF.We discuss our results with respect to the current experimental work and consider the possible contributions from higher l states
