    Get PDF

Human resources are one of the key elements for the success of an IT project, since their qualification and knowledge on hard skills and soft skills and an effective identification of these in the demands of each role or position are essential for the success of the project. Previous efforts to determine the recommended soft skills for information technology (IT) professional roles have had limited results due to the use of manual procedures, the abstention in use of reference frameworks for the analysis, and small sample sizes. This work presents a new approach that exploits existing reference models such as ESCO, e-CF and NCSF (NCS Framework) as a basis for analyzing large datasets offered by existing labor analysis tools, such as the ESCO database with thousands of relationships between occupations and soft skills and the Ovate tool with millions of online job ads. The combination of labor market information with the opinion of ESCO experts and the analysis of the main frameworks has determined the recommended soft skills profiles for the most popular professional roles in IT. The method proposed in this TFM allows analyzing all IT profiles as well as extending the study to technical competencies in the future.Máster Universitario en Dirección de Proyectos Informáticos (M133

A new dinoflagellate cyst genus and species are described here as Hiddenocysta gen. nov. and Hiddenocysta matsuokae sp. nov. from Holocene sediments in a core from the west coast of Vancouver Island (British Columbia, Canada). The genus Hiddenocysta encompasses spherical to ovoid skolochorate cysts, characterized by a gonyaulacoid plate pattern and a 2P precingular archeopyle. The species H. matsuokae is characterized by a granular wall and slender trifurcate processes with heavily perforated process bases. Two end members are described here based on process morphology and number of processes (formas 1 and 2). Cyst wall chemistry is analyzed using micro-Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy and reveals a unique dinosporin composition consistent with a gonyaulacoid autotrophic feeding strategy

Round brown process-bearing cysts (RBPC) produced by dinoflagellates (Dinophyceae) occur as an important part of assemblage diversities in seafloor sediments worldwide. Here a new species, Islandinium pacificum, is described from surface sediment samples from coastal waters of British Columbia (Canada). Additional observations are made on material from the Holocene of Kyuquot Sound (Vancouver Island, Canada) and the Eemian of the Voring Plateau (North Atlantic). The cysts have a smooth wall and bear acuminate processes with barbs. Incubation experiments reveal an affinity with the motile stage Protoperidinium mutsuense. The ecology of the new species is specified

BackgroundTP53 dysfunction is implicated in lymphomagenesis and disease progression. Information about the frequency and spectrum of TP53 mutations in the Russian pathients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) in the current version of the IARC TP53 Mutation Database R17 is not represented. The goal of this work was to study the frequency, spectrum and functional significance of TP53 mutations in Russian patients with DLBCL.Material and methodsAt the present time the pilot group of 14 patients were included in the study. Diagnosis was assessed according to the criteria of the WHO classification system. Genomic DNA was isolated from formalin-fixed, paraffin embedded tissue blocks. Direct sequence analysis of gene TP53 was performed according to the IARC protocol, 2010 update.ResultsIn two patients were identified single nucleotide substitutions that are not described in the current version of the PubMed database. All of mutations occurred in the DNA-binding domain of p53. The nonsense mutation Arg196Ter was detected in one patient. Previously it was shown that formation of this premature stop codon might activate the nonsense-mediated RNA decay pathway. The second patient had two missense mutations – Leu130Phe and Arg156Cys. The first of them leads to p53 inactivation according to the analysis of the functional importance of amino acid substitutions using service PolyPhen-2.ConclusionWe detected TP53 mutation in 14% cases. The mutational rate in our study is in good agreement with other studies where the frequency of the TP53 mutations in patients with DLBCL ranged mostly from 13% to 23%
