El objetivo general de esta investigación es describir y analizar el conocimiento y las acciones de RSE a una empresa de menor tamaño, específicamente la empresa POLYLON S.A.; cuyo objetivo principal es el análisis de las acciones y prácticas de responsabilidad social en la empresa. Cada tema relacionado con la responsabilidad social fue visto y aplicado en el caso de la empresa POLYLON S.A., que en la cual fue diseñado el código de conducta donde aparecen los conflictos de interés y diferentes temas relacionados con la conducta de los trabajadores, identificados los Stakeholders quienes son los actores involucrados en la empresa y fue diseño tanto el plan de Responsabilidad Social Empresarial y el Plan de Comunicaciones donde en los fue explicado cómo participar en las tres dimensiones que son la Económica, Social y Ambiental.Most existing research and studies in the field of corporate social responsibility (CSR) have targeted large companies. The overall objective of this research is to describe and analyze the knowledge and actions of CSR to a smaller company, the company specifically POLYLON S.A.; whose main objective is to analyze the actions and practices of social responsibility in the company. Each issue related to social responsibility was seen and applied in the case of the company POLYLON SA, which was designed the code of conduct where conflicts of interest appear and different issues related to the behavior of workers, identified Stakeholders who are the actors involved in the company and was designed both the Corporate Social Responsibility plan and the Communications Plan where they were explained how to participate in the three dimensions that are Economic, Social and Environmental

The risk of COVID-19 death is much greater and age dependent with type I IFN autoantibodies

International audienceSignificance There is growing evidence that preexisting autoantibodies neutralizing type I interferons (IFNs) are strong determinants of life-threatening COVID-19 pneumonia. It is important to estimate their quantitative impact on COVID-19 mortality upon SARS-CoV-2 infection, by age and sex, as both the prevalence of these autoantibodies and the risk of COVID-19 death increase with age and are higher in men. Using an unvaccinated sample of 1,261 deceased patients and 34,159 individuals from the general population, we found that autoantibodies against type I IFNs strongly increased the SARS-CoV-2 infection fatality rate at all ages, in both men and women. Autoantibodies against type I IFNs are strong and common predictors of life-threatening COVID-19. Testing for these autoantibodies should be considered in the general population
