The paper relates to the transference love as being double faced: it is, at the same time, a very important factor for the psychoanalysis development as well as a source of resistance to the psychoanalytical treatment. The transference of love to knowledge, which is sustained by the analyst’s position during the treatment, must be maintained as the analysis horizon, and never be confused with transference love. The analyst should receive this love as a genuine one, although not responding to or underestimating it. For that, he/ she shall use the analyst’s wish as an operator that maintains the tension at the point of suspension of knowledge.O texto expõe sobre o amor de transferência como algo de dupla face: sendo motor importante em uma psicanálise, ao mesmo tempo é fonte de resistência ao tratamento. The association of early touchscreen media use with the development of visual attention and executive function
Attention plays a pivotal role in information processing by filtering the potential information available based on individual goals, states, and past experiences. Early attention control is thought to underpin and support executive functions (EFs), which in turn are predictive of later behavioural outcomes. The development of attention and EF is partly subject to environmental influences, such as the use of digital media. There is a rapid increase in accessibility and usability of mobile touchscreen devices (i.e. smartphones and tablets) in the family environment, but rigorous scientific research investigating the impact on the developing mind lags behind the widespread usage. To address this, children with different levels of touchscreen use were followed longitudinally at 12 months, 18 months, and 3.5 years, and tested on attention control (bottom-up, and top-down), and EF (updating, shifting, and inhibiting).
Children with high touchscreen use were faster on single (i.e. pop-out) visual search, with the amount of concurrent use associated with the speed of bottom-up attention in a linear manner. This saliency bias was repeatedly found on saccadic control tasks, where steady longitudinal high use was associated with a quickening of attention to peripheral salient onsets with a resulting detriment to top-down performance, i.e. disengagement and inhibition of attention. Finally, top-down difficulties were also seen in EF tasks in high users at 3.5 years, particularly in processes of updating and shifting between abstract mental sets.
These results point to an influence of touchscreens use on the emerging attention and EF systems, in a way that experience of salient and contingent digital content elicits automatic biases to bottom-up processing, and displaces competency of top-down control and/or increases reliance on stimulus-response pairings. Future studies are needed to demonstrate causality, and to understand long-term trajectories and the interplay between bottom-up and top-down processes over time
Life paths and death perspective in elderly people at risk for suicide

Pedagogical differentiation is a challenge for all / as the / as education professionals, since the educational realities are dynamic and is characterized by a great diversity linguistic, cultural and social, and are constantly changing. It is also a challenge to change schools. Innovate and build teaching strategies and devices that meet the needs of all children, and to meet the different learning profiles, is certainly an issue that requires much thought by the whole school community. In this sense, having the problems cited as the basis of work and reflection, this report aims to reflect all my career and professional development throughout the Master in Preschool Education and Teaching of the 1st cycle of basic education held at School Education, Polytechnic Institute of Santarém. In the first part of this document is critical and reflective analysis of the Supervised Teaching Practice I developed along the stage, where the various educational settings, as well as the professional development path and I conducted the investigative stage moments are described. The second part presents the research work qualitative, on the question of Pedagogical differentiation, which conducted interviews, two of Childhood Educators and two 1st cycle Professor of Basic Education. Following the objectives of the same was possible to know how the teachers define the concept of Differentiated Education, understand their perspective regarding the influence of differentiated learning in the process of teaching and learning and identify their implications for educational practices, Kindergarten and school, the guiding principles that characterize the differentiated learning.info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersio
Theta and alpha neurofeedback for age-related cognitive deficits
Dissertação de Mestrado em Ciências da SaúdeWith the growing life expectancy, the number of elderly people is increasing tremendously
worldwide. The progressive decrease of synaptic plasticity and neuronal inter-connectivity,
concomitant with neurophysiological and behavioral alterations in the ageing brain, may be delayed
by neurorehabilitation. Current approaches used to modify cognitive capabilities are often divided
into behavioral training procedures and techniques for direct modulation of neural mechanisms,
as neurostimulation or neurofeedback. Neurofeedback, which most of the times is based on
electroencephalogram signals, is used to train individuals on learning how to influence their own
brain functions based on the online-analysis of the brain activity. However, the potential greater
effects of rehabilition through a combined methodology of these two trends are poorly investigated.
In the present study, we wanted to examine the effects of a protocol with neurofeedback
training interleaved with neurocognitive tasks. It was hypothesized that the combined approach
might have a superior impact on cognitive performance, in comparison with a neurofeedback
training alone approach. A protocol for neurorehabilitation covering the two proposed
methodologies was developed. It supports Alpha and Theta neurofeedback up-training, and can be
interleaved with neurocognitive tasks, namely the n-Back Task (the 1-back and the 2-back versions)
and the Corsi Block-Tapping Task (either in forward or in backward order). Then, 10 participants
from a Health Care Centre from Braga, aged above 55 years-old, were intervened in a twelve-day
protocol with either a neurofeedback-combined cognitive protocol or a neurofeedback-single
protocol.
In general, the protocol established appear to induce an enhancement of Alpha and Theta
activity as an enhancement in working-memory overall state. However, no clear conclusions could
be drawn about the real effects of the intervention due to the small sample size and inter-individual
differences.
With a forthcoming increase in the number of participants (with more participants already
being recruited and intervened) we hope to better address the potential enhancement effects of
the combined approach of behavioral training and neurofeedback, as well as understand the
possible explanations in the origin of these effects.
O referido protocolo
neurocognitivas, nomeadamente a tarefa n-Back (as versões 1-back e 2-back) e a tarefa Corsi
Block-Tapping (quer directa quer invertida).

Virtual reality therapy: the power of role-playing social skills
Role-play (RP) is a technique for teaching communication and training interpersonal skills, known for its effective way of transmitting learning, in which simulation is one of its main distinguishing features. Social skills, moreover, are behaviors that involve the interpersonal relationship carried out in each social context. Although social skills training is consensually considered one of the most beneficial approaches to improving social functioning in individuals with mental illness, long-term motivation deficits diminish its effectiveness. Virtual reality technology effectively solves the motivation problem, providing a realistic and immersive experience that allows for role-playing of social skills. They provide presence and allow individuals to practice and enhance their social skills. The benefits of both RP and VR technology are clear, and the combination of the two has even greater potential. However, there is still a limited amount of research on the impact of VR in the practice of RP, so further investigation is crucial.info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersio

The management of human talent with participation by objectives and, capacities and abilities independently, have a moderate positive direct relationship of 40.7%. Human talent management and performance evaluation had a moderate negative relationship of -40.7% and human talent management and work motivation had a very weak negative relationship of 5.50%
Enter the virtual forest: exploring the benefits of forest therapy in a digital world
One of the many challenges of this urbanization is significantly reflected in the distribution of urban green spaces, which may still not meet the needs of all inhabitants and preclude the many benefits that urban green spaces bring to mental health. From this perspective, Shinrin-Yoku emerged a traditional Japanese practice known as Forest Therapy (FT) or Forest Bathing (FB), as a natural health treatment. Using virtual reality, in addition, makes it possible to reproduce scenarios or environments that, in certain contexts, it would be almost impossible to recreate in real life. Thus, VR can provide opportunities and allow many more people to benefit from the best therapies and positive outcomes. It’s important to note that the research on this union is still in its early stages, however, exploring this field represents, in many ways, a unique opportunity for healthcare, and would reach a wider population, providing the best possible therapy for everyone who could benefit from it.info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersio
