On convergence of generators of equilibrium dynamics of hopping particles to generator of a birth-and-death process in continuum
We deal with two following classes of equilibrium stochastic dynamics of
infinite particle systems in continuum: hopping particles (also called Kawasaki
dynamics), i.e., a dynamics where each particle randomly hops over the space,
and birth-and-death process in continuum (or Glauber dynamics), i.e., a
dynamics where there is no motion of particles, but rather particles die, or
are born at random. We prove that a wide class of Glauber dynamics can be
derived as a scaling limit of Kawasaki dynamics. More precisely, we prove the
convergence of respective generators on a set of cylinder functions, in the
-norm with respect to the invariant measure of the processes. The latter
measure is supposed to be a Gibbs measure corresponding to a potential of pair
interaction, in the low activity-high temperature regime. Our result
generalizes that of [Finkelshtein D.L. et al., to appear in Random Oper.
Stochastic Equations], which was proved for a special Glauber (Kawasaki,
respectively) dynamics
The author discusses the presence of Vergil in Cassiodorus. Cassiodorus displays an ambivalent dynamic of appropriation: whereas in his texts on Christian exegesis his allusions to Vergil are intentionally vague, in his historiographical works the auctoritas of Vergil is repeatedly stressed. Indeed, in the latter Cassiodorus seeks to attain a different goal: Vergil serves as the authoritative source in order to present the Goths both as a race sharing a common divine lineage with the Romans and as people of ancient traditions whose origins were ennobled by a mention at Aeneid, 3.35 [Gradivus] Geticis qui praesidet arvis
Cost Optimization Approach for MANET using Particle Swarm Optimization
This paper present the approach require to increase the QoS of MANET network using particle swarm optimization algorithm. To improve data communication between two nodes we propose an efficient algorithm for AODV protocol using PSO where instead of suppling all default parameter with default value of AODV protocol we try to provide selective parameters with optimum value so that overall requirement of control packet get decrease that in turn result in to increase quality of service parameters of MANET. For the enhancement of reliability and reduction of cost, node speed control mechanism is implemented using PSO, The given method which is use for simulation, reduces the overall loss of data and also make transmission effective. We have also tested the performance of network by changing data rates and the speed of the node
Analyzing Performance of ZRP by Varying Node Density and Transmission Range
Mobile Ad hoc Network (MANET) is a collection of mobile nodes that are arbitrarily located so that the interconnections between nodes are dynamically changing. In MANET mobile nodes forms a temporary network without the use of any existing network infrastructure or centralized administration. Each node participating in the network acts both as host and a router and must therefore is willing to forward packets for other nodes. For this purpose, a routing protocol is needed. A routing protocol is used to find routes between mobile nodes to facilitate communication within the network. The Zone Routing Protocol (ZRP) is a hybrid routing protocol for MANET which combines the advantages of the proactive and reactive approaches by maintaining an up-to-date topological map of a zone centered on each node. I am going to do simulation based study in order to analyze performance of ZRP protocol and I use Network Simulator (NS-2) tool to analysis performance of ZRP and analysis by varying node density and transmission range on different parameter like throughput, average end to end delay, and Normalized Routing load. Bumper landings of Abalistes stellatus (Lacepede. 1798)
Although trigger fishes are obtained in stray
numbers during trawl catches, unusually large
specimens are observed in the long trip trawlers
operating at 60-100 mts depth. The size ranged
from 38 to 43 cm and the catch from 50 to 100
kg/boat. A record landing of about 185.5 tonnes
was estimated during the year 2000 at Veraval.
The samples collected on 24.11.2000 were identified
as the starry triggerfish, Abalistes stellatus
(Lacepede, 1798)
Monsoon fishery of juvenile ginger prawns at Little Rann of Kutch, Gujarat in relation to environmental parameters
Juveniles of ginger prawn, Metapenaeus kutchensis (George, George and Rao, 1963), form monsoon fishery in shallow
estuarine waters of the Little Rann of Kutch. The catch data were collected from Tikar, Mandrakhi, Cherowari and Surajbari
landing centres during 2004 to 2009. The annual average catch was 2406 t, of which the bulk was contributed by Mandrakhi
and Tikar. The catch correlated well with the amount of rainfall (r = 0.97). The length-weight relationships were expressed
as: Log W = -2.367 + 3.1204 log TL for males (r = 0.81) and Log W = -2.868 + 3.7098 log TL for females (r = 0.88). All the
water quality parameters including ammonium nitrogen, nitrate nitrogen and phosphate phosphorus were within safe limits
and congenial for growth of ginger prawn juveniles and post-larvae. The water and sediment bacteriology revealed that both
proteolytic and lipolytic bacteria were present in considerable quantities for efficient recycling. The chemical and biological
parameters of water apart from monsoon rains, appear to contribute to the rapid growth of this species from post-larvae to
juveniles
Improved mechanisation in dolnetting along the Saurashtra coast
The dolnetters of Jaffrabad, Rajapara and
Nawabunder until 2000 were using engine drive for
transport and other fishing operations (shooting, piling
and hauling). This was done manually and required 6-9
persons per trip with increased effort and reduced
catches which necessitated multiday operations and
multinet/multihaul operations
Rare record of rainbow runner Elegatis bipinnulata in trawl catches of Veraval
A small quantity of the carangid rainbow runner Elegatis bipinnulata which can easily be mistaken to be a longer
mackerel or seer fish was landed on 23.11.2000 at Bhidia
trawl landing centre. This species had no scutes on the lateral line, instead had pored scales with rainbow like colour pattern over the body, shape very much resembled
to that of Sconiberomoras guttatus
Association of regional bioelectrical phase angle with physical performance: a pilot study in elite rowers
Background. This study aimed to examine the association between regional Phase Angle (PhA) and physical performance in athletes where the use of specific body segments is required.Methods. Sixteen elite-level rowers (13 male aged 17.6 +/- 2.1 yr; 3 female aged 21.0 +/- 4.4 yr) participated in this investigation. Raw bioimpedance parameters were obtained with a phase-sensitive 50 kHz bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) device and fat-free mass, percentage of fat mass (FM%), and arms and legs lean soft tissue (ALST and LLST, respectively) were estimated using specific BIA-equation developed for athletes. The time (2000t) and the mean power (MP) expressed during the 2000 m test performed on a rowing ergometer were measured.Results. The major findings of the study were that upper hemisome PhA (UPhA) were more strongly related with 2000t (R2 = 0.35, p = 0.015) and MP (R2 = 0.40, p = 0.009) than whole-body PhA. Additionally, not only UPhA maintained a significant relationship with 2000t (p = 0.001) and MP (p = 0.001), even after adjustment for the co-variables sex, ALST, and FM%, but the explained variance increased to R2 = 0.72 and R2 = 0.78, respectively.Conclusions. These results suggest that the regional PhA might be used as a tool for evaluating performance related parameters in sports where specific body segments are involved, preferring it to the whole-body measured value
The unusual landings of Juveniles of Decapterus russelli and Rastrelliger kanagurta in trawl catches of Veraval
Caputre of fish Juveniles in trawl nets is a common and regular phenomenon ever since the cod end mesh size has been reduced to less than 10 mm. Generally the cod-end catches are a mixture of juveniles of several species of finflshes and shellfishes, along with a host of inedible benthic biota. The occurance of a single species in significantly large quantities is seldom found or reported
