    Policy for developing the cultural tourism industry in Vietnam

    Cultural tourism not only attracts international tourists to explore and experience Vietnam's unique culture but also contributes to creating an important source of income for the national economy. Vietnam has a diverse history and culture, expressed through architecture, art, culinary culture, and many unique traditions. Destinations such as Hue, Hoi An, Sapa, Hanoi, and Saigon are not only places where visitors can learn about Vietnam's history and culture but also experience the unique traditions and cultural beauty in each region. In particular, combining cultural tourism with cultural heritage conservation and sustainable development is an important trend. This includes building aesthetically pleasing tourist areas that do not harm the environment and local culture. The emphasis on preserving and honoring classical cultural values is also an important part of cultural tourism. Thus, cultural tourism is not only a source of cultural value and helps promote the country's image but also positively contributes to the economic development and preservation of Vietnam's cultural heritage. Cultural tourism will continue to play an important role in promoting the sustainable development and sublimation of Vietnamese culture in the future

The simulation of contaminant water transmission process plays important role in reality to improve people's life qualities. In this paper the 2D-mathematical model simulating transmission processes of some contaminant substances in one lake of Hanoi is studied. The finite volume method is used in model. The actions between substances are considered and the simulation results are compared with the measurements

    Mesoporous phosphated zirconia (m-PZ) and mesoporous phosphated sulfated zirconia (m-PSZ) were synthesized through condensation methods using Zr3(PO4)4 and Zr(SO4)2 as precursors respectively. The precursors, solvents with suitable molar or mass ratios were mixed at 100oC for 48 hours to obtain the mesoporous channels.     GLOBAL ECONOMIC CRISES IN THE 20TH CENTURY AND LESSONS FOR VIETNAM

    The research examines the general overview of major financial crises worldwide in the 20th century to answer the question of what creates a large-scale global economic crisis and relates to the potential risks for a crisis nowadays. The study indicates the contexts, causes, happenings/impacts, and measures had been done in three crises: (i) The Great Depression of 1929-1939; (ii) The 1973 oil crisis; (iii) The 1997 Asian financial crisis. From these, lessons and experiences for Vietnam are derived from each crisis. The lessons learned from the 1929-1933 economic crisis highlight that the interconnectedness of different sectors in the economy leads to the vulnerability of the stock market to bubbles, and the need for swift government intervention. Things we learned from the 1973 oil crisis are the importance of having reserves, energy independence, a focus on renewable energy, and a coherent regional strategy. Regarding the 1997 financial and monetary crisis, the lesson drawn is that market liberalization is dangerous, and there is a need for a reliable international financial regulatory mechanism and reducing foreign debt through foreign currency. Additionally, it is necessary to allow for more flexible exchange rates

    Interregional Input-Output Analysis between the Mekong Delta Region (MDR) and the Rest of Vietnam (ROV)

    The Mekong Delta is an important economic area, located in the southern part of Vietnam. The Mekong Delta has many potential and opportunities for development, but also new challenges in the context of global climate change, sea level rise, as well as the consequences of blocking the river and the Mekong countries also need to increase competition in international integration. In addition to these challenges, the region also has new opportunities when implementing economic restructuring in line with the policy of restructuring the economy in new conditions, including the establishment of special economic zones as PhuQuoc Resort. Besides analysis based on modern economic theory, this paper uses the input-output framework (I/O Inter-sect oral Scope Model) updated in 2016 for two areas: by the Mekong River and the Rest of Vietnam (ROV) to find inter-regional impacts and to calculate some impact assessments of climate change. The study also analyzes some other factors related to the viewpoint of sustainable regional development in new conditions, income distribution and social security

    Job Satisfaction Amongst Accountants: The Case of Accounting Service Firms in Hanoi

    This study is conducted for measuring the job satisfaction amongst accountants in the accounting service firms in Hanoi. The study has also performed some descriptive analysis, Cronbach's Alpha and Independent T-test for evaluating and measuring the Job satisfaction amongst accountants. The results show that the Job satisfaction amongst accountants achieved an average of 3.683/5. The study does not find significant differences on evaluation of the Job satisfaction amongst accountants in terms of gender and age.     Optimal operation of Hoa Binh reservoir for flood control on Hong-Thai Binh river system

    In the paper the optimal operation of Hoabinh reservoir for flood control on Hong–Thai Binh river system is presented. The findings show that in the flood season in 1996 if the operation of gates and outlets of Hoa Binh reservoir was made base on the calculated release, the water level at Hanoi would be 12.3 m and the water level of Hoa Binh reservoir would be 98 m. So the calculated release from Hoabinh reservoir in August 1996 can be considered as optimal in the mean that the water level at Hanoi can be controlled and the Hoabinh reservoir still have necessary pool for controlling the next floods
