Theoretical and experimental study of high-pressure synthesized B20-type compounds Mn(Co,Rh)Ge
The search and exploration of new materials not found in nature is one of
modern trends in pure and applied chemistry. In the present work, we report on
experimental and \textit{ab initio} density-functional study of the
high-pressure-synthesized series of compounds Mn(Co,Rh)Ge. These
high-pressure phases remain metastable at normal conditions, therewith they
preserve their inherent noncentrosymmetric B20-type structure and chiral
magnetism. Of particular interest in these two isovalent systems is the
comparative analysis of the effect of (Co) and (Rh) substitution for
Mn, since the orbitals are characterized by higher localization and
electron interaction than the orbitals. The behavior of
Mn(Co,Rh)Ge systems is traced as the concentration changes in the
range . We applied a sensitive experimental and theoretical
technique which allowed to refine the shape of the temperature dependencies of
magnetic susceptibility and thereby provide a new and detailed
magnetic phase diagram of MnCoGe. It is shown that both systems
exhibit a helical magnetic ordering that very strongly depends on the
composition . However, the phase diagram of MnCoGe differs from
that of MnRhGe in that it is characterized by coexistence of two
helices in particular regions of concentrations and temperatures.Comment: 12 pages, 11 figure
Sociology, labour and transition in post-Soviet Russia: A view from within
For almost 20 years, since the early 1990s, Professor Simon Clarke led multiple international research projects in Russia, China and Vietnam studying labour relations, enterprise restructuring and household economics under post-socialist transition. Breaking out of post-socialist scholarship’s narrow confines, both social and ideological, he led an exploration of the void opened by former Soviet Union disintegration reconnecting with those who brought the brunt of it. Equally unique among western scholars was his promotion of a vast network of former Soviet Union researchers and activists, later formalised in the Institute for Comparative Research in Labour Relations. Here, for the first time, some of its leading scholars reflect on his legacy, methods and ever-lasting contribution to the advancement of sociology and social activism in Russia. Their accounts convey the radically alternative character of the overall project, returning both achievements and limitations. In substantive terms, the emerging picture confirms the indeterminacy and complexity of Clarke’s original findings: no linear development from ‘the subsumption of labour under capital’ to ‘familiar patterns of class conflict’ has occurred. Instead, growing labour protests follow labour degradation and restructuring, a strong state becoming the arbiter in the stand-off between neoliberalism and workers’ resistance
Electrical discharges in the atmosphere of Venus
Data received from Venera 11 and 12 experiments involving the electrical activity of the atmosphere of Venus show that the electrical discharges occur in the cloud layer. Their energy is roughly the same as in terrestrial lightning, but with a pulse repetition frequency of the discharges which is much greater
Continuous adult education for social and occupational mobility: innovative educational resource of Borovichi teacher training college

In vitro clonal micropropagation of Aronia L. varieties from the collection of the botanic garden of the National Research University “BelSU” (Belgorod, Russia)
Studying the characteristics of in vitro cultivation of species and varieties of Aronia made it possible to determine the optimal conditions for sterilizing plants, the composition of the medium for propagation and rhizogenesis of explants. Adaptation plant varieties of Aronia obtained using the developed media and cultivation regimes is characterized by a high survival rate (97-99%) under unsterile conditions, which makes them potential objects for mass replication by clonal micropropagatio
The main features of phraseological units in the Russian and Armenian languages and their translation
The study deals with the structure of phraseological units of the Russian and Armenian languages. The researchers analyze figurative meaning of phraseological units appearing on the base of primary, nominative meaning of the words in one or another free phras
Elastic properties of FeSi
Measurements of the sound velocities in a single crystal of FeSi were
performed in the temperature range 4-300 K. Elastic constants and
deviate from a quasiharmonic behavior at high temperature; whereas,
increases anomalously in the entire range of temperature, indicating a
change in the electron structure of this materia
Online education in sociology and history: causes and consequences of deficit in Runet
Underdeveloped market of online education in Russia includes MOOC and other educational resources on sociology and history, but, considering the ideological function of sociology and history, the number of them is very small. History is represented more by the Russian educational platforms. Sociologists have a specialized one – FOMlabs. The more Russian citizens learn history and sociology on the internet, the more the level of critical thinking and civic culture increases
THE MISSION OF THE REGIONAL UNIVERSITY AND ITS FOCUS ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF HUMAN CAPITAL IN THE REGION
The purpose of the article: The article clarifies and justifies the mission of a modern regional university, which focuses on the activities of a university on the development of human capital in the region.Materials and methods: Based on the data of scientific literature, strategic documents of the state, materials of regional statistics, surveys of respondents, the strategic direction of the formation of a regional university is justified - orientation of its mission, research and educational activities on the development of human capital. A range of directions for improving the functioning of a regional university has been proposed and justified in order to bring the content of its activities in line with the regional focus and the new mission. Results of the research: Regional universities are presented in the article as high-tech educational organizations of higher education, the vector of strategic development of which should be focused on maximum integration into the economy and social sphere of the regions. Structural components of human capital are proposed - education capital, health capital, labor, cultural and moral capital, intellectual capital, entrepreneurial capital, social capital, cyclically interacting with each other in the process of personal and professional development of a teacher.
Applications: This research can be used for universities, teachers, and students.
Novelty/Originality: In this research, the model of The mission of the regional university and its focus on the development of human capital in the region is presented in a comprehensive and complete manner
