The Stark effect in the charge-dyon system

The linear Stark effect in the MIC-Kepler problem describing the interaction of charged particle with Dirac's dyon is considered. It is shown that constant homogeneous electric field completely removes the degeneracy of the energy levels on azimuth quantum numberComment: 6 page

This paper identifies the presence of palate cleft in the individual from Middle Bronze Age and Late Bronze Age in the Armenia. The remains of skeleton from Lchashen site (burial 221/2), comprise the skull and post-cranial skeleton of a female 30-39 years. Macroscopic physical examination revealed that individual suffered from inflammation. The study reveals that inflammation possibly caused by because of sinusitis or inhaling polluted air for a long duration. In addition, we have seen skeletal evidence for pulmonary disease: tuberculosis. The female from Lchashen led a physically strenuous lifestyle

This paper identifies the presence of facial clefting in archaeological population from Middle Bronze Age and Late Bronze Age in Armenia. The remains of skeleton from Lchashen site (burial 221/2), comprise the skull and post-cranial skeleton of a female 30-39 years. Macroscopic physical examination revealed that individual suffered from inflammation. Considering the ethnographic aspects, the study reveals that inflammation possibly caused by because of sinusitis or inhaling polluted air for a long duration. In addition, we have seen skeletal evidence for pulmonary disease: tuberculosis. The severe dental wear is a direct result of the food processing techniques used by prehistoric Armenia. We have seen evidence of interpersonal violence. All of these factors suggest that the female from Lchashen led a physically strenuous lifestyle. Before us is the individual with signs of intensive exercise stresses

Thin-film solar cells on perlite glass-ceramic substrates

    No full text
For the first time, thin-film CIGS solar cells have been fabricated by co-evaporation on specially developed non-conducting perlite (an aluminum potassium sodium silicate natural mineral of volcanic origin) glass-ceramic substrates to develop a fully integrated photovoltaic and building element. Such glass-ceramic material can meet the physical requirements to solar cells substrates as well as the cost goals. The preliminary data presented show that CIGS solar cells deposited on ceramic substrates can exhibit efficiency higher than 10%

PITZ Experience on the Experimental Optimization of the RF Photo Injector for the European XFEL

    Get PDF
The Photo Injector Test facility at DESY, Zeuthen site PITZ , develops high brightness electron sources for modern free electron lasers. A continuous experimental optimization of the L band photo injector for such FEL facilities like FLASH and the European XFEL has been performed for a wide range of electron bunch charges from 20 pC to 2 nC yielding very small emittance values for all charge levels. Experience and results of the experimental optimization will be presented in comparison with beam dynamics simulations. The influence of various parameters onto the photo injector performance will be discusse
