    RESIDÊNCIA PEDAGÓGICA E A FORMAÇÃO DOCENTE: ESTABELECENDO CONEXÕES NA PERSPECTIVA DE PRECEPTORES

    The Pedagogical Residency Program (PRP) presents itself as an initiative of significant importance in the initial training of teachers, by providing living situations and teaching practices focused on school teaching, in basic education. This work deals with an investigation whose central objective was to outline the development of actions linked to the Pedagogical Residency Program (PRP), from the perspective of 3 (three) preceptor teachers who are part of the José de Alencar pole, Mathematics subproject, in the city of Santarém, state of Pará. The experience report based on participant observation, based on the narratives of preceptor teachers, was the methodological guideline for the information presented. The results show a bidirectional equivalence relationship between learning and formative teachings, necessary for residents, based on experiences and actions developed in collaboration with preceptors. In contrast, we identified a movement of teaching and learning from residents to preceptors, taking into account the coexistence between generations of trained teachers and the contemporary knowledge of undergraduates, acquired due to the knowledge of academia and contemporary culture more generally. We conclude that, in our point of view, the development of the actions carried out by the PRP is not only aimed at initial training, but also, being a type of continuous training, for preceptors.El Programa de Residencia Pedagógica (PRP) se presenta como una iniciativa de significativa importancia en la formación inicial de docentes, al brindar situaciones de convivencia y prácticas docentes enfocadas a la enseñanza escolar, en la educación básica. Este trabajo aborda una investigación cuyo objetivo central fue perfilar el desarrollo de acciones vinculadas al Programa de Residencia Pedagógica (PRP), desde la perspectiva de 3 (tres) docentes precepores que forman parte del polo José de Alencar, subproyecto Matemáticas, en la ciudad de Santarém, estado de Pará. El relato de experiencia basado en la observación participante, a partir de las narrativas de los profesores preceptores, fue la directriz metodológica para las informaciones presentadas. Los resultados muestran una relación de equivalencia bidireccional entre aprendizajes y enseñanzas formativas, necesarias para los residentes, a partir de experiencias y acciones desarrolladas en colaboración con los preceptores. En contraste, identificamos un movimiento de enseñanza y aprendizaje de residentes a preceptores, tomando en cuenta la coexistencia entre generaciones de docentes capacitados y el conocimiento contemporáneo de los estudiantes universitarios, adquirido gracias al conocimiento de la academia y la cultura contemporánea en general. Concluimos que, a nuestro modo de ver, el desarrollo de las acciones que lleva a cabo el PRP no sólo está dirigido a la formación inicial, sino también, al ser un tipo de formación continua, de los preceptores.O Programa Residência Pedagógica (PRP) se apresenta como uma iniciativa de significativa importância na formação inicial de professores, ao proporcionar situações de vivência e práticas de ensino focadas na docência escolar, na educação básica. Este trabalho trata de uma investigação cujo objetivo central foi delinear o desenvolvimento das ações vinculadas ao Programa de Residência Pedagógica (PRP), na perspectiva de 3 (três) professores perceptores que integram o polo José de Alencar, subprojeto Matemática, na cidade de Santarém, estado do Pará. O relato de experiência fundamentado na observação participante, com base nas narrativas dos professores preceptores, foi o fio condutor metodológico, para as informações apresentadas. Os resultados mostram uma relação de equivalência bidirecional entre aprendizagens e ensinamentos formativos, necessários aos residentes, com base nas vivências e ações desenvolvidas em colaboração com os preceptores. Em contraste, identificamos um movimento de ensinamentos e aprendizagens dos residentes aos preceptores, tendo em vista a convivência entre gerações de professores formados e os conhecimentos contemporâneos dos graduandos, adquiridos, por conta dos saberes da academia e da cultura contemporânea mais geral. Concluímos que, em nosso ponto de vista, o desenvolvimento das ações realizadas pelo PRP não é apenas direcionado a formação inicial, más também, ser uma espécie de formação contínua, aos preceptores

    Organic matter composition and paleoclimatic changes in tropical mountain peatlands currently under grasslands and forest clusters

    Tropical peatlands are important ecosystems for Planet Earth, as they store large amounts of carbon and water. A better understanding of the impact of vegetation type and altitude in content, composition, and rate of accu mulation of organic matter is key for assessing the current role of such environments. This study evaluated fibric and soluble fractions as well as the lignocellulosic and the isotopic compositions of the peat organic matter from four tropical mountain peatlands located at different altitudes of the Serra do Espinhaço Meridional, state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. The peatlands are currently under grasslands and forest clusters. Samples of peat under both vegetation types were collected and analyzed for organic matter fractions, cellulose, and lignin (van Soest method), as well as carbon and nitrogen isotopes. Different depths were chosen for radiocarbon dating of se lected samples. The organic matter of peatlands currently under grasslands and forest clusters presented dif ferences in soluble fractions, lignocellulosic composition, and δ13C values. Multivariate analyses allowed grouping the peatlands by altitude and vegetation type. The chronological succession of grassland and forest clusters in tropical mountain peatlands was influenced by altitude and was related to paleoclimatic changes.info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersio

    ATLANTIC EPIPHYTES: a data set of vascular and non-vascular epiphyte plants and lichens from the Atlantic Forest

    Epiphytes are hyper-diverse and one of the frequently undervalued life forms in plant surveys and biodiversity inventories. Epiphytes of the Atlantic Forest, one of the most endangered ecosystems in the world, have high endemism and radiated recently in the Pliocene. We aimed to (1) compile an extensive Atlantic Forest data set on vascular, non-vascular plants (including hemiepiphytes), and lichen epiphyte species occurrence and abundance; (2) describe the epiphyte distribution in the Atlantic Forest, in order to indicate future sampling efforts. Our work presents the first epiphyte data set with information on abundance and occurrence of epiphyte phorophyte species. All data compiled here come from three main sources provided by the authors: published sources (comprising peer-reviewed articles, books, and theses), unpublished data, and herbarium data. We compiled a data set composed of 2,095 species, from 89,270 holo/hemiepiphyte records, in the Atlantic Forest of Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay, recorded from 1824 to early 2018. Most of the records were from qualitative data (occurrence only, 88%), well distributed throughout the Atlantic Forest. For quantitative records, the most common sampling method was individual trees (71%), followed by plot sampling (19%), and transect sampling (10%). Angiosperms (81%) were the most frequently registered group, and Bromeliaceae and Orchidaceae were the families with the greatest number of records (27,272 and 21,945, respectively). Ferns and Lycophytes presented fewer records than Angiosperms, and Polypodiaceae were the most recorded family, and more concentrated in the Southern and Southeastern regions. Data on non-vascular plants and lichens were scarce, with a few disjunct records concentrated in the Northeastern region of the Atlantic Forest. For all non-vascular plant records, Lejeuneaceae, a family of liverworts, was the most recorded family. We hope that our effort to organize scattered epiphyte data help advance the knowledge of epiphyte ecology, as well as our understanding of macroecological and biogeographical patterns in the Atlantic Forest.     Anatomical terminology of the internal nose and paranasal sinuses: cross-cultural adaptation to Portuguese

    Introduction: Functional endonasal endoscopic surgery is a frequent surgical procedure among otorhinolaryngologists. In 2014, the European Society of Rhinology published the “European Position Paper on the Anatomical Terminology of the Internal Nose and Paranasal Sinuses”, aiming to unify the terms in the English language. We do not yet have a unified terminology in the Portuguese language. Objective: Transcultural adaptation of the anatomical terms of the nose and paranasal cavities of the “European Anatomical Terminology of the Internal Nose and Paranasal Sinuses” to Portuguese. Methods: A group of rhinologists from diverse parts of Brazil, all experienced in endoscopic endonasal surgery, was invited to participate in the creation of this position paper on the anatomical terms of the nose and paranasal sinuses in the Portuguese language according to the methodology adapted from that previously described by Rudmik and Smith. Results: The results of this document were generated based on the agreement of the majority of the participants according to the most popular suggestions among the rhinologists. A cross-cultural adaptation of the sinonasal anatomical terminology was consolidated. We suggest the terms “inferior turbinate”, “nasal septum”, “(bone/cartilaginous) part of the nasal septum”, “(middle/inferior) nasal meatus”, “frontal sinus drainage pathway”, “frontal recess” and “uncinate process” be standardized. Conclusion: We have consolidated a Portuguese version of the European Anatomical Terminology of the Internal Nose and Paranasal Sinuses, which will help in the publication of technical announcements, scientific publications and the teaching of the internal anatomical terms of the nose and paranasal sinuses in Brazil. Resumo: Introdução: A cirurgia endoscópica funcional endonasal é um procedimento cirúrgico frequente entre os otorrinolaringologistas. Em 2014, a Sociedade Europeia de Rinologia publicou o “Documento Europeu para Posicionamento sobre a Terminologia Anatômica Interna do Nariz e das Cavidades Paranasais” com o objetivo de unificar os termos na língua inglesa. Ainda não dispomos de uma terminologia unificada na língua portuguesa. Objetivo: Adaptação transcultural dos termos anatômicos do nariz e das cavidades paranasais para o português da “European Anatomical Terminology of the Internal Nose and Paranasal Sinuses”. Método: Um grupo de rinologistas de todo o Brasil, com experiência em cirurgia endoscópica endonasal, foi convidado a participar da elaboração desse posicionamento sobre os termos anatômicos do nariz e das cavidades paranasais para o português conforme metodologia adaptada da previamente descrita por Rudmik e Smith. Resultados: Os resultados desse documento foram gerados a partir da concordância da maioria dos participantes conforme as sugestões mais populares entre os rinologistas. Uma adaptação transcultural da terminologia anatômica nasossinusal foi consolidada. Sugerimos que se busque uniformizar termos como “concha inferior”, “septo nasal”, “porção (óssea/cartilagionasa) do septo nasal”, “meato (médio/ inferior) nasal”, “via da drenagem do seio frontal”,“recesso frontal” e “processo uncinado”. Conclusão: Consolidamos uma versão adaptada em português da “European Anatomical Terminology of the Internal Nose and Paranasal Sinuses” que auxiliará a publicação de comunicados técnicos, publicações científicas e o ensino dos termos anatômicos internos do nariz e das cavidades paranasais no Brasil.
