Postural fuction and motor control in children with poor posture

Předkládaná diplomová práce se zabývá dvěma diagnózami dětského věku - vadným držením těla a vývojovou poruchou koordinace. Ve své teoretické části shrnuje dostupné informace a aktuální poznatky o daných problematikách se zaměřením na etiologii, prevalenci v populaci, prognózu, metody hodnocení, diagnostiku i terapii. Hlavním cílem praktické části diplomové práce bylo zhodnotit motorické dovednosti cvičených dětí s vadným držením těla ve srovnání s dětmi běžné populace. Za tímto účelem byly výzkumná skupina (13 dětí, průměrný věk 9,85 let) a kontrolní skupina 1 (16 dětí, průměrný věk 9,94 let) otestovány testem Movement Assessment Battery for Children 2. Mezi motorickými dovednostmi cvičených dětí s vadným držením těla a motorickými dovednostmi dětí z běžné populace jsme neprokázali rozdíl. Dále jsme v práci zjišťovali, zda děti s vadným držením těla, které jsou vedeny v terapii, vykazují méně pohybové aktivity oproti běžné populaci. Z dotazníků vyplněných rodiči testovaných dětí jsme zjistili, že v kvantitě mimoškolní pohybové aktivity dětí s vadným držením těla a dětí z běžné populace není statisticky významný rozdíl. Rozdíl jsme neprokázali ani v testu postury a posturálních funkcí, kde bylo naším cílem zjistit, zda vadné držení těla dětí významně ovlivní výsledky tohoto testování. The theoretical part summarizes recent information on these diseases focusing on their etiology, prevalence, prognosis, methods of assessment, diagnosis and treatment. The main aim of the practical part was to evaluate the motor control of treated children with poor posture in comparison with children from the general population. The research group (13 children, mean age 9.85 years) and control group (16 children, mean age 9.94 years) were assessed using Movement Assessment Battery for Children 2. We found no significant difference between motor skills of treated children with poor posture and motor skills of children representing the general population. We also analysed whether treated children with poor posture reported less physical activity compared with the general population. By gathering data from questionnaires (completed by parents of tested children), no statistically significant difference was found. The difference was neither detected in test of posture and postural functions, where we investigated how poor posture of treated children can influence the results of the test. - 94 - 7. ZÁVĚR Problematika rozsahu povinnosti k náhradě škody podle obchodního zákoníku je dlouholetým tématem řady odborných diskuzí. Věnovala jsem své úsilí analýze této otázky, neboť se domnívám, že pokud nebude argumentačně silný výklad jednotlivých dílčích aspektů, jenž jsou s koncepcí úzce spjaty, nelze podat relevantní závěr. Doufám, že jsem ve své práci nastínila alespoň v obrysu několikero východisek, kterými se ubírat při řešení zmíněné otázky. Postupně jsem pronikala do složitých struktur a odhalovala jednotlivé komponenty, pevně spjaté s problematikou rozsahu náhradové povinnosti, a to konkrétně formou analýzy jednotlivých ustanovení. S ohledem na rozsáhlost obsahového tématu jsem uznala za vhodné nejprve seznámit s koncepcí náhrady škody podle obchodního zákoníku, objasnit její funkci a přiblížit principy, kterými je ovládána. Při tvorbě této studie jsem vycházela zejména z platných právních předpisů, publikací, článků a také soudních rozhodnutí. Kladla jsem důraz zejména na logickou stránku věci a praktické využití mých závěrů. Pokud jsem prezentovala určitý právní názor, pečlivě jsem dodržovala adresnost, popř. jej konfrontovala s protichůdným pohledem na tentýž institut. It is a controversial topic because one part of legal theory (strict interpretation) adjudicates an opinion that it is in compliance with the law and other part (liberal interpretation) says that it is not. I introduces various opinions in my thesis and I explains why I think that such the opinion is (or is not) wise and useful in practise. I personally adjudicates the opinion that it is in compliance with the Commercial Code to waive a claim of damages by the way of mutual agreement with respect to the subject-matter of fulfilment. The thesis is composed of seven chapters, each of them is dealing with different aspects of the abovementioned question. Chapter One is introductory and defines the thesis matter as a topical problem. The chapter is subdivided into two parts. Part One describes my aims which I would like to reach in the thesis and it explains two basic views of the possibility to change the extent of duty of damages. Part Two deals with partial issues subsequently discussed in the thesis. Students of UWB and Their Experiences with Experimental Chemistry Teaching at High School

Příspěvek představuje nabídku kurzů s chemickou tematikou na Fakultě pedagogické ZČU v Plzni, které jsou určené budoucím učitelům, a to nejen posluchačům učitelství chemie. Pozornost je zaměřena především na předmět Chemie hrou a na zkušenosti s nekontaktní výukou v akademickém roce 2020/2021. Diskutovány jsou zkušenosti posluchačů s experimentálními formami výuky chemie v předchozím studiu na střední škole. V příspěvku jsou uvedeny další možnosti, jak zvýšit kompetence budoucích učitelů v oblasti přírodních věd.The contribution presents the offer of courses with chemical themes at Faculty of Education, University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, which are intended for future teachers and not only for students of teacher training in chemistry. Attention is focused mainly on the course Chemistry by Play and on our experience with non-contact teaching in the academic year 2020/2021. The studentsʼ experience with experimental chemistry teaching forms in the previous study at high school are discussed here. Use of Total Carbon Determination to Calculate the Loss on Ignition and the Transformation of the Procedure into the Chemistry Education

Půda, jako téma ve výuce, je typickým multioborovým tématem, které může zasahovat do geografie, biologie a ekologie, a pokud se budeme zabývat i jejím složením a analýzou, zasahuje také do chemie a matematiky. Z pohledu chemika je obsah spalitelných látek ve vzorku historickým parametrem, který je v přímém vztahu k obsahu organické hmoty ve vzorku půdy a používá se k ohodnocení půd či pevných hnojiv. Tato veličina je zároveň v přímém vztahu k celkovému obsahu uhlíku, což je další obdobný parametr, který je možné v laboratoři stanovovat. Příspěvek je věnován rozboru možností transformace metod analýzy pevných vzorků do formy využitelné ve výuce chemie. Diskutovány jsou možnosti aplikace matematických metod na rozbor vztahů mezi výše uvedenými parametry a diskutováno je využití takového postupu jako mezioborového projektu v rámci výuky na různých typech škol.Soil, as a topic in education, is a typical multidisciplinary topic that can affect geography, biology and ecology, and if we deal with soil composition and analysis, it also affects chemistry and mathematics. From the chemistʼs point of view, the loss on ignition of the sample is a historical parameter that is directly related to the content of organic matter in the soil sample and it is used to rating soils or solid fertilizers. Loss on ignition is also directly related to the total carbon content, which is another similar parameter that can be determined in the laboratory. This paper is aligned to the analysis of the possible transforming the methods of solid samples analysis into a form, which is usable in the chemistry teaching. The possibilities of applying mathematical methods to the analysis of the relationships between the above parameters are discussed and the use of such a procedure as an interdisciplinary project in education at various types of schools is discussed

Chemical Experiments with Selected Transition Metals and Their Compounds in Chemistry Teaching

V příspěvku jsou uvedeny zajímavé chemické experimenty s vybranými přechodnými kovy a jejich sloučeninami, které lze využít při výuce chemie na základní či střední škole. U každého popisovaného experimentu je uveden jeho název, stručný princip, pomůcky a chemikálie, postup práce a didaktické poznámky. V poznámkách je naznačena časová náročnost, typ pokusu s možností zařazení do výuky a případná úskalí či doporučení k provedení experimentu.In this contribution are listed important chemical experiments with selected transition metals and their compounds which can be used during teaching in primary and secondary school. There are stated informations about title, brief principle, aids and chemicals, work procedure and didactic notes for each experiment. The didactic notes indicate the time required, the type of experiment with the possibility of inclusion in the teaching and any difficulties or recommendations for performing the experiment
