The nahuatl terminology of apparel in the relaciones geográficas from Mexico

This paper focuses on the terminology employed in reference to indigenous costume items in the Relaciones geográficas from sixteenth-century in Mexico. Through it is shown, what kind of vocabulary was used to refer to indigenous apparel, with a special attention on the expressions originating in Nahuatl as well as discursive contexts in which these terms appear. Furthermore, it discusses the parameters of cross-cultural transfer between Spanish and Nahuatl that can be identified through the study of these lexical data.El presente trabajo constituye un análisis de los procesos de designación de la indumentaria indígena presentes en las Relaciones Geográficas mexicanas del siglo XVI. En él se muestra, por una parte, cuál es el tipo de léxico empleado para hacer referencia a la vestimenta aborigen, prestando especial interés a las expresiones de origen náhuatl y a los contextos discursivos en que aparecen estas voces. Recuperación y reincorporación de compuestos aromáticos en la cerveza sin alcohol

En el presente trabajo se realiza un estudio cuyo objetivo es desarrollar una cerveza sin alcohol recuperando sabores de la cerveza convencional (cerveza alcohólica) e incorporándolos posteriormente a la cerveza sin alcohol. En primer lugar, se hará una breve introducción en la que se hablará de la importancia y la influencia del sector cervecero español en la economía y en el consumo. Posteriormente, analizaremos los pasos para la elaboración de la cerveza, un paso previo para el proceso de desalcoholización que se estudiará. Se compararán los métodos industriales más utilizados para la desalcoholización de la cerveza y se elegirá uno en función de la idoneidad para el proceso Finalmente, mediante la literatura mencionada, hemos realizado el diseño de una planta de pervaporación industrial como método de recuperación de los compuestos aromáticos que enriquecen la calidad de la cervezaIn the present work, a study is conducted with the objective of developing a non-alcoholic beer by recovering flavors from conventional beer (alcoholic beer) using pervaporation and subsequently incorporating them into the non-alcoholic beer. Firstly, a brief introduction will be provided, discussing the importance and influence of the Spanish beer sector on the economy and consumption. Subsequently, we will analyze the steps for brewing beer, which will serve as a preliminary for the dealcoholizing process to be studied. The most used industrial methods for beer dealcoholization will be compared, and one will be chosen based on its suitability for the process. La visión de la figura de la mujer a través de los romances populares : análisis periodístico e histórico de dos relaciones de sucesos

A través del análisis lingüístico y de contenido de dos romances populares publicadas en la Edad Moderna, hemos realizado una tesis que razona sobre la exposición de la figura femenina dada en ellos, así como su comparación con el género masculino y el tipo de referencia con respecto a lo primero. En el presente Trabajo de Fin de Grado, lo que hemos querido exponer es la gran cantidad de categorizaciones con respecto a la mujer que podemos encontrar en el romancero popular de la época, algo que se transmite y asemeja de lleno con las creencias culturales referidas a dicho ámbito. Por lo tanto, en nuestra hipótesis determinamos que a través de dichas publicaciones se realizaban unas especies de niveles o categorías de la mujer muy concretas, de las que profundizamos en dos; en primer lugar la de la mujer heroína que necesita de cierta masculinización para poder adquirir protagonismo y valentía, y la segunda la de la mujer sumisa y en segundo plano. De igual modo, y con el contexto histórico muy presente como escenario de todas las exposiciones culturales mencionadas, se contribuirá, mediante el análisis lingüístico de los romances, a esclarecer qué diferenciaciones con respecto al individualismo, y al concepto genérico entre los géneros.Through the linguistic and content analysis of two popular romances published in the Modern Age, we have made a thesis that explains the exhibition of the female figure given in them, as well as their comparison with the masculine gender and the reference type with respect To the first. Síndrome de Brugada: Relato de caso

Desde a sua introdução como uma entidade clínica descrita em 1992, a síndrome de Brugada (SB) tem atraído grande interesse devido a sua alta incidência em muitas partes do mundo e sua associação com alto risco de morte súbita em jovens e adultos saudáveis e, menos freqüentemente, em lactentes e crianças. É uma doença autossômica dominante com penetrância incompleta que ocorre com maior frequência no sexo masculino. É caracterizada por um padrão eletrocardiográfico de bloqueio de ramo direito completo ou incompleto e elevação do segmento ST de V1 a V3. O objetivo deste trabalho é relatar um caso de morte súbita em um indivíduo jovem, previamente sadio, sendo de grande relevância atentar para o diagnóstico precoce de alterações clínico-eletrocardiográficas visto que o número de casos de morte súbita permanece elevado ao longo dos anos, uma vez que este é um evento trágico que representa um grande problema de saúde pública mundial. UABICI Walking Intervention Related To BMI, BP And Emotional Attitude

INTRODUCTION: Physical activity is defined as bodily activity that results in energy expenditure. Exercise refers to physical activity that is structured to meet specific fitness gains. Maintaining a physically active lifestyle has been associated with health outcomes that include benefits to cognitive function. Exercise can increase levels of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) and other growth factors, stimulate neurogenesis, and improve learning and mental performance. The American College of Sports Medicine recommends that most adults engage in a regular exercise regime in order to maintain health and wellbeing. PURPOSE: Apply at UABC Valle Dorado developed Program every last Sunday of each month that consists in two activities: One was walking 5km /at 5 METs and the other was cycling 10 km with low effort. Every participant did a route by walking or cycling. A monthly intervention with promotion, prevention and measurement of BMI, BP. That activity was done 75 times. METHODS: Participants were 150 students and family members over 18 years old. The design was, observational and correlational. Medicine school students were checking before the physical activity BP, BMI, warm exercises to experience equilibrium, for about 15 minutes with jumping jacks, pushups, before walking. 5METS/ 5km Psychology students applied violent survey. Since 1st UABICI until the last 75th August 2017. RESULTS: Mean age was 22 years old. Participants on baseline mean BMI was 27.5 (5.1) kg/m2 with 38.1 normal, 29.9 % overweight, and 30.0% obese. At the end of the intervention, the participants reduced BMI, 26.4 with 40 % normal, 32% overweight and 28% obese. BP was normal. CONCLUSION: Participants were 98 percent students and only 2 percentage of teachers, that achieved lower obesity parameters compared with the initial measure. Some students started to form groups of cycling and walking, at the time they noticed the results

Oncogenic Gain of Function in Glioblastoma Is Linked to Mutant p53 Amyloid Oligomers.

Tumor-associated p53 mutations endow cells with malignant phenotypes, including chemoresistance. Amyloid-like oligomers of mutant p53 transform this tumor suppressor into an oncogene. However, the composition and distribution of mutant p53 oligomers are unknown and the mechanism involved in the conversion is sparse. Here, we report accumulation of a p53 mutant within amyloid-like p53 oligomers in glioblastoma-derived cells presenting a chemoresistant gain-of-function phenotype. Statistical analysis from fluorescence fluctuation spectroscopy, pressure-induced measurements, and thioflavin T kinetics demonstrates the distribution of oligomers larger than the active tetrameric form of p53 in the nuclei of living cells and the destabilization of native-drifted p53 species that become amyloid. Collectively, these results provide insights into the role of amyloid-like mutant p53 oligomers in the chemoresistance phenotype of malignant and invasive brain tumors and shed light on therapeutic options to avert cancer

La autoría de las Relaciones Geográficas mexicanas: las voces náhuatl a través de los redactores

This paper offers a typological proposal about the authorship of the sixteenth-century Relaciones Geográficas from Mexico, based on the data associated with agents involved in their elaboration, as well as the writers of the texts. It presents the results of an analysis of the processes of designation, lexical creation and the usage of terms of Nahuatl origin. Specifically, the present work shows how the treatment of indigenous vocabulary, as well as differences in designation procedures, make it possible to establish a correlation between the type of authorship and the transmission mechanisms from the indigenous world.Este trabajo ofrece una propuesta tipológica en torno a la autoría de las Relaciones Geográficas americanas del siglo XVI, realizada a través de los datos que se desprenden de los agentes implicados en su elaboración, así como de los redactores de los textos. Se realiza un análisis de los procesos de designación, la creación léxica y las voces de origen náhuatl. Los resultados muestran cómo el tratamiento de las voces indígenas y las diferencias en los procedimientos de designación, permiten establecer una correlación entre el tipo de autoría y los mecanismos de transmisión del mundo indígena

Perfil Nutricional Associado ao Índice de Obesidade de Idosos do Centro de Saúde Sebastião Pinheiro Bastos, AAP-VR, Volta Redonda – RJ

Trabalho autorizado pelo do Comitê de Ética do (UBM - 13/04/2006), tem como objetivo avaliar o estado nutricional e índice de obesidade de idosos voluntários do Centro de Saúde Sebastião Pinheiro Bastos, AAP-VR, Volta Redonda – RJ - 2006, através do levantamento do índice de massa corporal (IMC), (OMS-1995) e da circunferência de abdome (CA), (Han e cols-1995). Foram entrevistados 1952 idosos, de ambos os sexos, maiores de 60 anos. Obteve-se os seguintes resultados para a variável (CA), risco para as doenças cardiovasculares: nas mulheres, 526 (52,97%) apresentaram CA > 88 cm e 467 (47,02%) CA 102cm (com risco). Quanto ao IMC, foram identificados 949 idosos (59,62%) com IMC > 24,99Kg/m2 (sobrepeso), 611 (38,37%) com peso normal e 32 (2,01%) com baixo peso. Comparando os dados obtidos com os do PNSN, (Tavares e Anjos - 1989): o baixo peso 2,01% é inferior ao do PNSN 6,75%; o peso normal 38,37% é menor do que o nacional que é de 53,95%; o sobrepeso 59,61% é superior ao do PNSN que é de 40,30%. O sobrepeso é muito alto, contrastando com o baixo peso e peso normal, sinalizando possível vulnerabilidade para as doenças degenerativas e suas comorbidades
