The current final project of career consists on the elaboration for the creation and starting up of an academy of languages in Bogota’s city focused in hospitality and tourism. Since it is about a private academy of languages, we will begin placing it inside the sector of the educational services, and for it, we are going to differ between the legal and not legal formation, being the last the one that belongs to our company. Also we will elaborate a DOFA to synthesize the strong and weak points we’ve detected our academy has. El objetivo de este proyecto es construir una historia de ciencia ficción en la que se evidencie una búsqueda por responder la pregunta ¿qué nos hace humanos? La obra planteará la existencia de la vida extraterrestre como una reflexión que sitúe al ser humano como parte de un todo y no como un ser vivo inteligente cuya existencia es un caso aislado. Para la construcción de esta historia es fundamental entender la convergencia del sonido, la imagen y el código como el medio que posibilitará la creación de una impronta de la existencia humana tal y como es en el año 2066, pero no desde las crisis, los adelantos científicos, o los tipos de gobierno que existen, entre otros rasgos que ha utilizado la historia para mostrar a la sociedad de determinada época, sino para evidenciar, desde la individualidad, un producto colectivo en el que a partir de lo simple se pueda comprender qué mueve a los seres humanos y que será recogido en un prototipo tecnológico. La imagen estará vinculada a un suceso, experiencia, o aspecto importante de cada una de las personas que aportarán a la cápsula. Así mismo, cada imagen estará acompañada de un audio en el que la persona explicará por qué lo que está retratado en la imagen es importante. Debido a las necesidades formales que tiene este proyecto, la historia está editada en el programa iBooks Author. La utilización de este medio está condicionada por la necesidad de vincular sonido e imagen, además de permitir vincular también imagen en movimiento y texto plano. El libro tiene una versión en físico también, que tiene como objetivo atraer lectores que no estén familiarizados con el medio digital. Las estrategias metacognitivas como agentes motivadores en la resolución de problemas relacionados con el concepto de área de figuras planas

La desmotivación frente al desarrollo de las actividades académicas, las dificultades de aprendizaje y las limitaciones para la adecuada enseñanza, se presenta en todos los niveles de la básica primara de la SEDE Fundación Niños de los Andes del Colegio Integrado Villa Pilar como un problema no resuelto. El número de estudiantes que no avanza en el ciclo escolar debido a sus fracasos y el número de reprobados en las distintas disciplinas, son las manifestaciones inmediatas de esa situación. Se asume como estrategia de motivación, la utilización de las matemáticas, ya que son una disciplina frente a la cual los estudiantes denotan agrado por que ha estado presente en su vida cotidiana, en el manejo de sus relaciones interpersonales. Así mismo muestran mayor apropiación, toda vez que, en su situación de vulnerabilidad, por ser menores trabajadores el cálculo metal es necesario en su vida de calle, pero aun así, se deben resolver las situaciones que en esta área aún persisten, como son: los pequeños errores procedimentales que hacen muy difícil la asimilación de nuevos conceptos, otra situación tiene que ver con la memorización de una nominación simbólica de las expresiones matemáticas, diferente y muy precisa, la cual propone situaciones poco usuales en la vida diaria y además, la necesidad de encontrar una real comprensión del papel que la matemática ha jugado y juega en la sociedad en que vivimos. Estas situaciones sin resolver generan grandes traumas futuros, sobre todo para los alumnos de grado quinto, que al ser promovidos a la básica secundaria, continúan en la cadena de fracasos, repitencia y problemas de aprendizaje. En el rastreo bibliográfico, se encontró que algunos autores plantean situaciones similares y sugieren la necesidad de pensar en formas adecuadas para la enseñanza que garanticen procesos de aprendizaje más efectivos y como una alternativa para el mejoramiento de la enseñanza y el aprendizaje sobre el área de las figuras planas, se plantea la posibilidad que los estudiantes sepan como se desarrolló en la comunidad matemática ese concepto que tienen.Demotivation in the face of the development of academic activities, learning difficulties and limitations for adequate teaching, appears at all levels of the elementary school of the Fundación Niños de los Andes SEDE of the Villa Pilar Integrated School as an unsolved problem. . The number of students who do not advance in the school year due to their failures and the number of failed students in the different disciplines are the immediate manifestations of this situation. The use of mathematics is assumed as a motivational strategy, since it is a discipline in front of which students denote pleasure because it has been present in their daily life, in the management of their interpersonal relationships. Likewise, they show greater appropriation, since, in their situation of vulnerability, since they are minor workers, metal calculation is necessary in their street life, but even so, the situations that still persist in this area must be resolved, such as: the small procedural errors that make the assimilation of new concepts very difficult, another situation has to do with the memorization of a symbolic name of the mathematical expressions, different and very precise, which proposes unusual situations in daily life and also the need to find a real understanding of the role that mathematics has played and plays in the society in which we live. These unresolved situations generate great future traumas, especially for fifth graders, who, upon being promoted to lower secondary school, continue in the chain of failures, repetition and learning problems. In the bibliographic search, it was found that some authors pose similar situations and suggest the need to think of appropriate ways for teaching that guarantee more effective learning processes and as an alternative for the improvement of teaching and learning in the area of plane figures, the possibility is raised that students know how that concept that they have developed in the mathematical community

Economía política del agua: estudios de caso del Valle del Cauca

Esta investigación analiza, a partir de siete estudios de caso sobre problemáticas por el agua en el Valle del Cauca, los procesos de toma de decisiones en asuntos ambientales. Partiendo de información secundaria principalmente, se examinaron los casos mediante los pasos planteados en el método comparativo. Entre los principales resultados se obtuvo que la toma de decisiones en las problemáticas ambientales se lleva a cabo en un escenario de construcción de lo colectivo y con presencia de heterogeneidad de intereses. Igualmente, es permeada por la interacción que los actores sociales desarrollan con el territorio y entre ellos mismos.Abstract: This research involves the analyses about decision – making processes in environmental matters, through seven case studies around water problems in Valle del Cauca. Starting from secondary information mainly, the cases were analyzed through the steps outlined in the Comparative Method. Among the main results, it was found that decision making in environmental contexts takes place in a scenario of collective construction with the presence of heterogeneity of interests. New Pathogenic Concepts and Therapeutic Approaches to Oxidative Stress in Chronic Kidney Disease

In chronic kidney disease inflammatory processes and stimulation of immune cells result in overproduction of free radicals. In combination with a reduced antioxidant capacity this causes oxidative stress. This review focuses on current pathogenic concepts of oxidative stress for the decline of kidney function and development of cardiovascular complications. We discuss the impact of mitochondrial alterations and dysfunction, a pathogenic role for hyperuricemia, and disturbances of vitamin D metabolism and signal transduction. Recent antioxidant therapy options including the use of vitamin D and pharmacologic therapies for hyperuricemia are discussed. Finally, we review some new therapy options in diabetic nephropathy including antidiabetic agents (noninsulin dependent), plant antioxidants, and food components as alternative antioxidant therapies

Recolección, clasificación y mercadeo de residuos sólidos plásticos generados por las instituciones educativas de la localidad de Suba, en la UPZ de Guaymaral

En este proyecto se pretende fomentar la cultura ambiental del reciclaje en los colegios ubicados en la localidad de Suba UPZ Guaymaral Núcleo 3, orientándolos a emplear un sistema organizado de recolección y clasificación que permita practicar un proceso de producción del material aprovechable existente en los residuos sólidos generados por estas instituciones. Accediendo así a la integración de aspectos medioambientales, económicos, sociales y de fabricación que contribuyen a una política de desarrollo sostenible a través del mercadeo y del transporte de dicha clasificación, por medio de microrutas a las cooperativas interesadas en este proceso; y de la propuesta de una línea de producción que genere un material de utilizable que sirva como insumo para empresas que trabajen con plásticos.This project seeks to increase the ambiental culture about recycling in the schools located in Suba UPZ Guaymaral, 3rd Central, redirecting them to use an organizated recollection and classification system which lets practice a production process of recyclable materials found in the solid remainders generated by this institutions.
