Non polynomial conservation law densities generated by the symmetry operators in some hydrodynamical models

New extra series of conserved densities for the polytropic gas model and nonlinear elasticity equation are obtained without any references to the recursion operator or to the Lax operator formalism. Our method based on the utilization of the symmetry operators and allows us to obtain the densities of arbitrary homogenuity dimensions. The nonpolynomial densities with logarithmics behaviour are presented as an example. The special attention is paid for the singular case (γ=1)(\gamma=1) for which we found new non homogenious solutions expressed in terms of the elementary functions.Comment: 11 pages, 1 figur

Spectral singularities for Non-Hermitian one-dimensional Hamiltonians: puzzles with resolution of identity

We examine the completeness of bi-orthogonal sets of eigenfunctions for non-Hermitian Hamiltonians possessing a spectral singularity. The correct resolutions of identity are constructed for delta like and smooth potentials. Their form and the contribution of a spectral singularity depend on the class of functions employed for physical states. With this specification there is no obstruction to completeness originating from a spectral singularity.Comment: 25 pages, more refs adde

Space-Time Description of Scalar Particle Creation by a Homogeneous Isotropic Gravitational Field

We give the generalization of the method of the space-time description of particle creation by a gravitational field for a scalar field with nonconformal coupling to the curvature. The space-time correlation function is obtained for a created pair of the quasi-particles, corresponding to a diagonal form of the instantaneous Hamiltonian. The case of an adiabatic change of the metric of homogeneous isotropic space is analyzed. We show that the created pairs of quasi-particles in de Sitter space should be interpreted as pairs of virtual particles.Comment: 7 pages, 3 figure

Search for the Optical Counterpart of the Vela Pulsar X-ray Nebula

Observations of the Vela pulsar region with the Chandra X-ray observatory have revealed the fine structure of its synchrotron pulsar-wind nebula (PWN), which showed an overall similarity with the Crab PWN. However, contrary to the Crab, no firm detection of the Vela PWN in optical has been reported yet. To search for the optical counterpart of the X-ray PWN, we analyzed deep optical observations performed with different telescopes. We compared the optical images with those obtained with the Chandra ACIS to search for extended emission patterns which could be identified as counterparts of the X-ray nebula elements. Although some features are seen in the optical images, we find no correlation with the X-ray structure. Thus, we conclude that the diffuse optical emission is more likely associated with filaments in the host Vela SNR. The derived upper limits on the optical flux from the PWN are compatibile, within the uncertainties, with the values expected on the basis of the extrapolations of the X-ray data.Comment: 19 pages, 6 figures. The authors performed a clinico-morphological comparison in 377 patients aged over 60 years who deceased after acute head injury. Patients1 histories and findings from medico-legal expert examinations were examined. The specific etiopathogenetic features determining the peculiar dynamics and the number of patients according to the kind and nature of the injury were emphasized. The authors established a higher incidence rate of the open acute head injury, subperiostal haematomas and calvaria and skull base fractures not seldomly accompanied by intracranial haematomas some of which remained undiagnosed while still living. The clinical course of the trauma and the structure of macroscopic and microscopic morphological alterations were analyzed. Their multiple appearance was outlined. The kind and severity of the accompanying diseases and traumatic lesions as well as the main reasons for death in this patients' contingent were studied

THERAPEUTIC EFFECT OF MILGAMMA N IN SYMPTOMATIC NEURALGIA IN THE COURSE AND AFTER HERPES ZOSTER GANGLIONITIS

Herpes zoster is a dermatovirosis that occurs at different age. However, with the patients aged over 60 years it presents with a painful syndrome preceded, accompanied or lasting up to one year after fading away of the eruptions. Intake of B-group vitamins favourably influences on the restoration of sensory nerves being mainly affected and causing the protracted painful syndrome. Milgamma N preparation in the shape of capsules is a combination of 40mg of vit. Bi, of 90mg of vit. Вб, and of 250 у of vit. Bn and ensures an optimal intestinal resorption. The authors followed-up dynamically the therapeutic effect of Milgamma N in capsules on the development of skin lesions and painful syndrome in 15 patients (7 males and 8 females) with herpes zoster. The duration of the therapy was 4 weeks long. The following protocol was made use of: week one - two capsules three times daily and weeks two through four - three times one capsule daily. The dermatologic and neurologic status as well as the subjective evaluation of the therapeutic effect was monitored in all the patients. There was a complete or an almost complete remission in 13 patients (86,7% of the cases) after one-month treatment. The skin lesions underwent an involution during a period of 10-17 days. The one-month schedule for treatment of herpes zoster with Milgamma N proved to be effective in a moderate degree of a painful syndrome and most common localization of the eruptions

Polarization of Thermal X-rays from Isolated Neutron Stars

Since the opacity of a magnetized plasma depends on polarization of radiation, the radiation emergent from atmospheres of neutron stars with strong magnetic fields is expected to be strongly polarized. The degree of linear polarization, typically ~10-30%, depends on photon energy, effective temperature and magnetic field. The spectrum of polarization is more sensitive to the magnetic field than the spectrum of intensity. Both the degree of polarization and the position angle vary with the neutron star rotation period so that the shape of polarization pulse profiles depends on the orientation of the rotational and magnetic axes. Moreover, as the polarization is substantially modified by the general relativistic effects, observations of polarization of X-ray radiation from isolated neutron stars provide a new method for evaluating the mass-to-radius ratio of these objects, which is particularly important for elucidating the properties of the superdense matter in the neutron star interiors.Comment: 7 figures, to be published in Ap

Previously published data on experiences of the different quarantine measures or outbreaks in the public health system related to the SARS virus, Ebola virus, Influenza infections were analyzed in the article. The aim of the article was to identify, appraise and synthesize the best available evidences from the systematic reviews for the possible psychological impact of quarantine on the learning on health care in medical university in conditions of isolation during pandemic COVID-19 and to propose approaches to solve these problems. These findings were appraised in prism of the medical education and avaliable approaches to the e-learning of medical students. Self-experience of the Zaporizhzhia State Medical University was also included. On the background of the published results of the studies revealing the stressors some solutions for the identified problems were proposed relating to the data of the reviews. Particular attention is paid to the effect of the self e-learning on the result of the knowledge achievement. Among main stressful factors were indicated the following: fear of infection, frustrating, boredom, inability to take part in usual day-to-day activities, lack of contact with patients. Role of the teacher in reducing the burden of stress in students during quarantine was covered. Benefits and pitfalls of on-line education were assessed. The future unsolved problems were discussed.
