A product form for the general stochastic matching model

We consider a stochastic matching model with a general compatibility graph, as introduced in \cite{MaiMoy16}. We show that the natural necessary condition of stability of the system is also sufficient for the natural matching policy 'First Come, First Matched' (FCFM). For doing so, we derive the stationary distribution under a remarkable product form, by using an original dynamic reversibility property related to that of \cite{ABMW17} for the bipartite matching model

Latent olefin metathesis catalysts

Olefin metathesis is a versatile synthetic tool for the redistribution of alkylidene fragments at carbon-carbon double bonds. This field, and more specifically the development of task-specific, latent catalysts, attracts emerging industrial and academic interest. How to Evaluate Coreference in Literary Texts?

In this short paper, we examine the main metrics used to evaluate textual coreference and we detail some of their limitations. We show that a unique score cannot represent the full complexity of the problem at stake, and is thus uninformative, or even misleading. We propose a new way of evaluating coreference, taking into account the context (in our case, the analysis of fictions, esp. novels). More specifically, we propose to distinguish long coreference chains (corresponding to main characters), from short ones (corresponding to secondary characters), and singletons (isolated elements).
