    Get PDF
Ear pinna Keloid is an over growth of the fibrous tissue which is concerned in wound healing and strengthening of the wound. The cause of keloid is piercing, pimple, acne, chickenpox, insect bite, infection, repeated trauma. As per ear pinna keloid excessive and repeated ear piercing is main cause which is bad gift of modern style. Keloids affect both sexes equally, although the incidence in young female patients has been higher than in young males, probably reflecting the greater frequency of ear lobe piercing among women. The frequency of occurrence is 15 times higher in highly pigmented people. Surgery is one of the treatments on that. But its not last and best. because even after surgery there is chances of recurrence. The most effective treatment is superficial external beam radiotherapy (SRT), but its economically costly. So comparative to all this Ksharasutra is cheap and best result with minimum injury. In Ayurvedic samhita its described as Arbuda of Karna Pali. Ksharasutra is best treatment as compare with modern surgery. Ksharasutra do duel work excision as well as healing. It is have property of incision, excision, debridement, scrapping along with aerostatic, antiseptic and healing. Present case is successful management of recurrent ear pinna keloid by Ksharasutra

Point2Point : A Framework for Efficient Deep Learning on Hilbert sorted Point Clouds with applications in Spatio-Temporal Occupancy Prediction

The irregularity and permutation invariance of point cloud data pose challenges for effective learning. Conventional methods for addressing this issue involve converting raw point clouds to intermediate representations such as 3D voxel grids or range images. While such intermediate representations solve the problem of permutation invariance, they can result in significant loss of information. Approaches that do learn on raw point clouds either have trouble in resolving neighborhood relationships between points or are too complicated in their formulation. In this paper, we propose a novel approach to representing point clouds as a locality preserving 1D ordering induced by the Hilbert space-filling curve. We also introduce Point2Point, a neural architecture that can effectively learn on Hilbert-sorted point clouds. We show that Point2Point shows competitive performance on point cloud segmentation and generation tasks. Finally, we show the performance of Point2Point on Spatio-temporal Occupancy prediction from Point clouds.Comment: 2023 IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS

As a science of Life and Health, the different branches of Ayurveda have evolved over the long period as health being mainly concerned with preventing as well as curing the diseases. With change in time and life style of people, increased pace of life the symptoms of some disease become violent. There are few diseases which have simple pathology but difficult to cure that called as Kshudra-roga. Kadar is one of such kind of disease, which give more trouble for patient & intervenes with routine work. Acharya Shushruta describes ‘Kadar’ under “Kshudra-roga”.  Acharya Bhoj also describes this disease. In modern sciences it can be compare with corn.                A Corn is a specially-shaped callus of dead skin that occurs on thin or glabrous surface of toe. Repeated injuries and friction to sole cause the corn. Wearing defective wear, thorn prick, etc can also cause the corn. Corn is being treated by using anti NSAID drugs, salicylic acid, corn cap, and at end surgery. There is no satisfactory and permanent treatment available for corn and have its high recurrence tendency. Shalyatantra has been hailed as the most important branch of Ayurveda. The uniqueness of Shalyatantra s due to the availability of duel treatment procedure i.e., Shlya Karma (surgical procedure) & Anushastra karma (para surgical procedure like Agnikarma, Raktamokshana etc,) Acharya Shushruta has advices Utkartan (excision) followed by ‘Agnikarma’. it is best treatment for prevent recurrences of Kadar

The aim of this work is to formulate and evaluate an herbal face pack for glowing skin by using natural herbal ingredients. The natural herbal ingredients such as multani mitti, turmeric, sandalwood, saffron, milk powder, rice flour, orange peel were purchased from local market in the form of dried powder. The powder of banana peel was prepared by shade drying commercially, all powdered natural ingredients were sieved using #120 mesh, weighed accurately and mixed geometrically for uniform formulation and then evaluated for parameters including morphological, physicochemical, physical, phytochemical, irritancy along with stability examination. Thus, in the present work, we formulated a herbal face pack which can be easily made with the easily available ingredients. After evaluation, we found good properties for the face packs, free from skin irritation and maintained its consistency even after stability storage conditions. Results of the study scientifically verified that herbal face pack having enough potential to give efficient glowing effect on skin. The overall study is useful to substantiate product claims due its useful benefits on the human beings

Alcohols, basically ethanol is considered as a leading alternative fuel for automotive application because of its ability to reduce the air pollution and cost of the fuel. This paper investigates the effect of lower ethanol gasoline blends (up to 20% by volume) on performance and emission characteristics of the single cylinder four stroke SI engine. Tests were carried out for power, torque, fuel consumption and brake mean effective pressure, while exhaust emissions were analyzed for CO, CO2, and HC by using different ethanol gasoline blends on volume basis at wide open throttle and variable engine speed from 4000 to 8000 rpm. Results were compared with the pure gasoline. It showed that as the ethanol content increases the power, torque, fuel consumption, brake mean effective pressure and CO2 emission while reduces HC and CO emission

    Get PDF
Background: Proximal radial fractures are common type of fracture around the elbow joint. These commonly occur after an episode of fall on the outstretched arm. These fractures can occur in isolation or with other associated injuries. Among these comminuted radial head fractures are commonly associated with secondary injuries and instability of the elbow joint. Management of the radial head in such cases is very important in restoring stability of the elbow joint and starting early mobilization. This study will assess functional outcome of radial head replacement in isolated radial head fractures using Mayo elbow performance score. Methods: Over a period of 24 months a total of 18 patients (male 12 and female 6) with isolated radial head fractures were included in the study. All of these patients had MASON type III fractures or above. Radial head replacement arthroplasty was done for irreparable radial head fractures and early mobilization was started. Functional outcome was calculated postoperatively with help of the Mayo elbow score on follow-up at 1, 3 and 6 month interval. Results: On the basis of Mayo elbow performance scores, 13 patients had excellent results; 3 had good results; and 2 had fair results. Mean Mayo elbow score was 88.33 (SD 11.11) after 6 month follow up. None of the patients had elbow instability after radial head replacement. Conclusions: Treatment of irreparable radial head fractures with radial head prosthesis along with soft-tissue reconstruction shows satisfactory results. Early mobilization of the elbow after operation is the key for restoration of elbow range of motion and function
