    Uji Laboratorium Efektivitas Biosurfaktan ā€œU-Champā€ dalam Bioremediasi Oil Spill

    Menurut penelitian tahun 2014 oleh Silva et al., tumpahan minyak bumi (Oil Spill) merupakan salah satu dampak lingkungan yang serius dari kegiatan industri migas (petroleum industries). Salah satu upaya dalam mengelola tumpahan minyak tersebut yaitu dengan menggunakan bioremediasi berupa biosurfaktan. Kecamatan Cepu, Kabupaten Blora, Jawa Tengah telah menjadi tambang minyak bumi tradisional sejak tahun 1893. Dari tambang inilah banyak terjadi tumpahan minyak proses produksi. Penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu pengujian keefektifan biosurfaktan pada tanah tercemar Cepu dalam penurunan TPH, pH, dan logam berat. Metode yang dilakukan dengan cara mengaduk tanah tercemar dengan larutan osmosis murni, biosurfaktan, dan katalisator. Berdasarkan dari hasil pengujian, terjadi penurunan TPH dari 13,49% menjadi 9,39% dan penurunan tingkat keasaman dari 9,21 (basa) menjadi 7,16 (netral). Beberapa logam berat pada tanah mengalami penurunan namun beberapa pula justru mengalami peningkatan, seperti Ba dari kadar 249,6 ppm menjadi 302,9 ppm dan Se dari kadar 1,5 ppm menjadi 2,6 ppm. Sebaiknya dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut dengan penambahan variabel kontrol seperti sifat fisik tanah, sehingga dapat dilakukan pengujian yang lebih optimal untuk sampel tanah tersebut

    Penelitian ini bertolak dari satu pertanyaan: Bagaimanakah SKKD dan materi pokok pada KTSP pembelajaran agama Islam di SD Islam al-Azhar 16 Cilacap ditinjau dari konsep pendidikan Luqman al-Hakim dalam surat Luqman? Tujuan penelitian yaitu mendeskripsikan SKKD dan materi pokok pada KTSP pembelajaran agama Islam di SD Islam al-Azhar 16 Cilacap ditinjau dari konsep pendidikan Luqman al-Hakim dalam surat Luqman yang meliputi SKKD dan materi pokok pembelajaran keimanan, ibadah dan akhlak. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif komparatif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Obyek utama penelitiannya adalah gagasan atau ide pada SKKD dan materi pokok. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, telaah terhadap dokumentasi serta wawancara tidak terstruktur. Data yang telah terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis data kualitatif. Hasil penelitian adalah: (1) SKKD dan materi pokok pembelajaran keimanan; SD Islam al-Azhar 16 terdiri dari 6 komponen rukun iman, konsep pendidikan Luqman al-Hakim terdiri dari 3 komponen yaitu iman kepada Allah, iman kepada nama dan sifat-Nya serta iman kepada hari akhir. Persamaan; iman kepada Allah (nama-nama, sifat-sifat serta kekuasaan Allah) dan beriman kepada hari akhir. Kompetensi dan materi keimanan konsep pendidikan Luqman al- Hakim berbasis tauhid, sedangkan SD Islam al-Azhar 16 Cilacap terbatas pada iman kepada Allah dengan mengetahui dan mengenal asmaul husna beserta sifatsifat- Nya (2) SKKD dan materi pokok pembelajaran ibadah; SD Islam al-Azhar 16 Cilacap terdiri dari 7 kompetensi dan materi meliputi; 5 komponen rukun Islam, muamalah serta halal dan haram dalam makanan, konsep pendidikan Luqman al-Hakim sedikitnya terkandung 2 komponen yaitu perintah mendirikan salat serta amar ma'ruf nahi mungkar. Persamaan; kompetensi dan materi salat (3) SKKD dan materi pokok pembelajaran akhlak; SD Islam al-Azhar 16 Cilacap terdiri dari 5 komponen akhlak yaitu akhlak terhadap Allah, Rasulullah, diri sendiri, orang lain, dan makhluk Allah lainnya. Konsep pendidikan Luqman al-Hakim mengandung 3 komponen yaitu akhlak terhadap Allah, terhadap diri sendiri dan terhadap orang lain. Kompetensi dan materi yang terkandung dalam konsep pendidikan Luqman al-Hakim adalah konsep dasar akhlak, sedangkan SDI al-Azhar 16 Cilacap merupakan bentuk penjabaran dari konsep pendidikan akhlak Luqman al-Hakim yang tersurat dalam surat Luqma

    Equine Infectious Anemia (EIA) disease is caused by EIA Virus (EIAV) from genus Lentivirus, subfamily Orthoretrovirinae, family retroviridae. This virus causes a persistent infection and potentially fatal in Equidae. There is no scientific literature yet for this disease in Indonesia. In order to determine this disease in our country, it is necessary continuing laboratory detection in imported Equidae and conducted further surveillance in Equidae throughout Indonesia. This research is aimed (1) to detect of any antibodi titre of EIAV in imported horse, (2) To get information about the relationship between laboratory result with the secondary datas of origin country. The EIAV antibody detected by indirect enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (indirect ELISA). The secondary datas were collected from Health Certificate of origin country, World Animal Health Information System (WAHIS) Interface OIE and literatures. Total of 133 blood samples were collected from imported horse, ex-imported horse and lokal breed horse. The result showed that all of imported horse, ex-imported horse and lokal breed horse were negative antibody against EIAV. The initial information on Equine Infectious Anemia indicated that health requirement in imported horse has fulfilled, so that imported horse was free from EIAV

    Isolation and molecular characterization of fowl aviadenovirus associated with inclusion body hepatitis from poultry in Banten and West Java, Indonesia

    Background and Aim: Fowl avidenoviruses (FAdVs) are generally considered ubiquitous, but certain serotypes and strains are known to be associated with primary diseases, such as inclusion body hepatitis (IBH). Since 2018, the outbreak of IBH has been reported in part provinces of Indonesia. This study aimed to isolate and molecularly characterize the FAdV from Banten and West Java Provinces of Indonesia and described the phylogenetic relationship with the FAdV that has been characterized in other countries. Materials and Methods: A total of 25 FAdV archive samples have been collected from January to August 2019 from clinical cases of FAdV infection in Banten and West Java Provinces, Indonesia. Collected samples were inoculated in 10-day-old specific-pathogenic-free chicken embryonated eggs. Hexon gene of FAdV was detected using polymerase chain reaction (PCR) with a primer set from previous study. To gain a better understanding of the FAdV genetic properties and construct the phylogeny tree, the PCR products were sequenced and subjected to a BLAST search and inferred using the neighbor-joining method by bootstrap test 1000Ɨ. Results: FAdV-D and FAdV-E are present in Banten, Indonesia. The phylogenetic analysis of 850 nucleotides that encode 289 amino acid of the partial hexon gene shows that the isolates Broiler/MSL/Ciputat-149/18, Broiler/MSL/Lebak-151/18, and Broiler/MSL/Ciputat-29/19 have 100% homology with FAdV-E TR/BVKE/R/D-1 from Turkey, whereas the isolates Layer/MSL/Ciputat-20/19 and Broiler/MSL/Ciputat-30/19 have 100% homology with FAdV-D strain 685 from Canada. Conclusion: The present study provides updates of the circulating FAdV in commercial poultry flocks in Banten and West Java Provinces, Indonesia. Since the FAdV vaccine was unavailable in Indonesia, this result might be used as guidance to select a proper FAdV vaccine strain. Our result indicates that at least two FAdV species were circulating among poultry in Banten and West Java Provinces, Indonesia; they are FAdV-D and FAdV-E
