Berdasarkan rumus besar sampel Slovin diperoleh sampel sebanyak 92 orang. Teknik sampling metode proporsional random sampling dan simple random sampling. Analisis data menggunakan uji chi-square. Perilaku kesehatan remaja putri sebagian besar kurang baik (43,5%), sedangkan baik (56,5%).

Fatigue life under non-Gaussian random loading from various models

Fatigue test results on the 10HNAP steel under constant amplitude and random loading with non-Gaussian probability distribution function, zero mean value and wide-band frequency spectrum have been used to compare the life time estimation of the models proposed by Bannantine, Fatemi–Socie, Socie, Wang–Brown, Morel and Ɓagoda–Macha. Except the Morel proposal which accumulates damage step by step with a proper ethodology, all the other models use a cycle counting method. The rainflow algorithm is used to extract cycles from random histories of damage parameters in time domain. In the last model, where a strain energy density parameter is employed, additionally spectral method is evaluated for fatigue life calculation in the frequency domain. The best and very similar results of fatigue life assessment have been obtained using the models proposed by Socie and by Ɓagoda–Macha, both in time and frequency domains for the last one. With the support of the Commission of the European Communities under the FP5, GROWTH Programme, contract No. G1MA-CT-2002-04058 (CESTI)

Designing Plasmon-Enhanced Thermochromic Films Using a Vanadium Dioxide Nanoparticle Elastomeric Composite

    Get PDF
Vanadium dioxide (VO2) is a common material for use in thermochromic windows due to a semiconductor-to-metal transition (SMT) that is coupled with a change in infrared opacity. Commercialization of VO2-based thermochromic technology is hampered by relatively expensive synthesis and film fabrication techniques as well as overall low performance as a window material. Here, simulations that indicate the plasmon resonance of VO2 nanoparticles in a composite film, which can be tuned to achieve record performance values, are reported. These simulations are experimentally verified by fabricating a VO2 nanoparticle composite in an elastomeric matrix using low-temperature and atmospheric processing conditions. The optical properties of the films are analyzed, yielding visible transmittance and infrared modulation values within the range of top-performing thermochromic windows. In addition, an improvement in performance is observed upon stretching the films, an effect that can be attributed to a local refractive index modulation. The results highlight the potential use of elastomeric composites as a low-cost route to higher-performance smart windows

Battery draining attacks against edge computing nodes in IoT networks

Many IoT devices, especially those deployed at the network edge have limited power resources. In this work, we study the effects of a variety of battery draining attacks against edge nodes. Specifically, we implemented hello flooding, packet flooding, selective forwarding, rank attack, and versioning attack in ContikiOS and simulated them in the Cooja simulator. We consider a number of relevant metrics, such as CPU time, low power mode time, TX/RX time, and battery consumption. Besides, we test the stretch attack with three different batteries as an extreme scenario. Our results show that versioning attack is the most severe in terms of draining the power resources of the network, followed by packet flooding and hello flooding attacks. Furthermore, we find that selective forwarding and rank attacks are not able to considerably increase the power resource usage in our scenarios. By quantifying the effects of these attacks, we demonstrate that under specific scenarios, versioning attack can be three to four times as effective as packet flooding and hello flooding attacks in wasting network resources. At the same time, packet flooding is generally comparable to hello flooding in CPU and TX time usage increase but twice as powerful in draining device batteries
