    Code Mixing Used by the Presenter on Visi Fm

    This study deals with code-mixing used by presenters on VISI FM. The objectives of this study are to : (1) find out the forms ofcode-mixing, that are used by VISI FM's presenters. (2) find out the form of code- mixing that is dominantly used by VISI FM's presenter. This research applied descriptive quantitative method.The object of this study is presenter of VISI FM namely Deris and Lia. The tape recorder is used for collecting the data where the utterence of presenters were recorded while presenting that program.After collecting the data, the writer found that forms of code mixing occured in the presenters's utterances are code mixing in forms words, phrases, and sentences. Code mixing in form of word is dominantly used by male presenters namely Deris, where the percentage of the occurrence of code mixing in his utterances are 255 code mixing, where there are 29 code mixing in form of sentences, 92 code mixing in form of phrases, and 133 code mixing in form of words and code mixing in form of sentence is dominantly used by female presenter namely Lia where the percentage of the occurrence of code mixing in her utterances are 184 code mixing occured where there are 82 code mixing in form of sentences, 44 code mixing in form of phrases, and 58 code mixing in form of words.     PENGGUNAAN MEDIA POSTER UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KREATIVITAS PESERTA DIDIK DALAM PEMBELAJARAN PPKN

    Penelitian ini terfokus pada penggunaan media poster untuk meningkatkan kreativitas peserta didik pada pembelajaran PPKn. Proses pembelajaran PPKn di kelas VIII-D SMPN 16 Bandung belum mendukung kreativitas peserta didik. Hal ini terlihat ketika proses pembelajaran PPKn berlangsung, peserta didik cenderung pasif dan masih mengalami kesulitan dalam menghasilkan gagasan, sedangkan guru masih kurang dalam menguasai media digital. Salah satu alternatif yang dapat dilakukan untuk memperbaiki pembelajaran guna meningkatkan kreativitas peserta didik adalah dengan menerapkan media poster. Untuk menunjang penelitian ini, maka digunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Adapun temuan dalam penelitian ini adalah: 1) Perencanaan pembelajaran PPKn menggunakan media poster terdiri atas silabus dan RPP. 2) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran PPKn menggunakan media poster dilaksanakan selama tiga siklus dengan poster yang berbeda pada setiap siklusnya yang disajikan oleh guru maupun dibuat oleh peserta didik. Poster pada siklus I mengenai sikap positif terhadap UUD 1945 dalam pelaksanaan NKRI, pada siklus II poster mengenai sikap positif terhadap UUD 1945 dalam pelaksanaan HAM, Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan sedangkan siklus III poster mengenai berbagai bentuk ketaatan yang dapat ditunjukkan terhadap Perundang-Undangan Nasional. 3) Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kreativitas peserta didik yang berupa kelancaran ketika peserta didik diminta untuk mengemukakan pendapat, meningkatnya keterampilan berfikir luwes (fleksibel) peserta didik dalam mengemukakan sebuah pemecahan masalah, meningkatnya keterampilan berfikir orisinal peserta didik dalam menciptakan sebuah karya berupa poster, serta meningkatnya keterampilan elaborasi peserta didik dalam memberikan gagasan yang lengkap dari poster yang dibuat. 4) Kendala yang dihadapi dalam penerapan media poster adalah sulitnya peserta didik berinovasi dengan ide-ide kreatif, kurangnya pengkondisian kelas oleh guru dan kurangnya waktu pembelajaran yang tersedia. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah memberikan motivasi kepada peserta didik dalam menggali pengetahuannya untuk menumbuhkan ide-ide kreatif, dalam mengkondisikan kelas guru harus berlaku tegas dan mengoptimalkan waktu dengan sebaik mungkin sehingga tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai. Berdasarkan pemaparan tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media poster dalam pembelajaran PPKn berhasil meningkatkan kreativitas peserta didik.;---This research is investigating the usage of poster as a media to improve students’ creativity in learning civic education. The processes of learning civic education at 8th grade SMPN 16 Bandung is not support and do not improve students’ creativity. It can be seen when the learning process are held the condition look like passive and students still hard to give the idea while the several teacher didn’t know how to use the digital media optimally. One of alternative that could be used to create the learning process more meaning full and improve their creativity is using poster as a media in learning process. To support this research, the researcher use “class action” as the method of research. To collect the data the researcher is using interview, observation, and literature review. As for findings in this research which are: 1) the lesson plan of civic education use poster as a media it is based on syllabus. 2) The learning activity of civic education use the poster as media it held in three cycles with different of poster in each cycles that show by the teacher or by students. First cycle is about positive attitude towards the UUD 1945 in the implementation of NKRI, in second cycle is about positive attitude toward the UUD 1945 in the implementation of human right, education and culture whereas in third cycle the poster are about several form of obedience that can show to the national laws . 3) The result of this result is show the positive effect which is improve students’ creativity which is when teacher ask them to give the idea, improve flexible thinking when give the idea in problem solving question and improve the ability to think originally to create the creation in form poster, and also can improve elaboration ability when give complete idea from poster that they made. 4) The problem when implement this media as the strategy in learning process are students difficult to create the innovation with creative idea and low ability of teacher to control student and the lack of time. The suggestion from this research are give the motivation to search many knowledge to create and find creative idea, teacher have to distinct to the student to control them in learning process and use the time optimally to reach the objective learning. Based on the explanation above can conclude that the usage of poster in learning civic education successful to improve students’ creativity

    Pengaruh Penambahan Dinding Geser (Shear Wall) pada Waktu Getar Alami Fundamental Struktur Gedung

    The structure of high-rise buildings should have sufficient stiffness so that no damage could harm users when earthquake occurred. The addition of shear wall structure is one way to increase stiffness of the building. This research is analyzing the capacity of structural elements and the influence of shear walls in high rise buildings, taking a case study at Mataram City Apartments and Condominium, Yogyakarta. The building consists of two towers. Analytical calculations in this research based on technical data field, quality of materials, and the results of structural analysis with SAP2000. After that, this research will calculate strength of the structure. The analysis based on SNI 03-2847-2002, SNI 03-1726-2002, and the Uniform Building Code (UBC) 1997 Chapter 16 on Requirements Design Structure. Three modification of the shear wall layouts in this research are use to understanding about the effect of adding shear walls to the natural vibration time.   Based on the analysis and calculation, the structure has adequate capacity to support the load with the natural vibration period of 1.831 seconds. Maximum allowable vibration time by SNI 03-1726-2002 is 3.24 seconds, while the Uniform Building Code (UBC) is 1.698 seconds. First model can decrease the natural vibration period of 1.53 % to 1.80 seconds with a drift reduction of 11.35 % in the x axis and 35.27 % in y axis. The second model can decrease the natural vibration period by 5.08 % to be 1.73 seconds with drift reduction is 20.73 % the x axis, 39.31 % and y axis. The merged models have the natural vibration structure of 1.66 second
