Majorana vs Pseudo-Dirac Neutrinos at the ILC
Neutrino masses could originate in seesaw models testable at colliders, with
light mediators and an approximate lepton number symmetry. The minimal model of
this type contains two quasi-degenerate Majorana fermions forming a
pseudo-Dirac pair. An important question is to what extent future colliders
will have sensitivity to the splitting between the Majorana components, since
this quantity signals the breaking of lepton number and is connected to the
light neutrino masses. We consider the production of these neutral heavy
leptons at the ILC, where their displaced decays provide a golden signal: a
forward-backward charge asymmetry, which depends crucially on the mass
splitting between the two Majorana components. We show that this observable can
constrain the mass splitting to values much lower than current bounds from
neutrinoless double beta decay and natural loop corrections.Comment: 16 pages, 5 figures; v2: Minor changes, version accepted for

Vacuum decay in an interacting multiverse
We examine a new multiverse scenario in which the component universes
interact. We focus our attention to the process of "true" vacuum nucleation in
the false vacuum within one single element of the multiverse. It is shown that
the interactions lead to a collective behaviour that might lead, under specific
conditions, to a pre-inflationary phase and ensued distinguishable imprints in

We describe the integration of some multilingual language resources in ontological descriptions, with the purpose of providing ontologies, which are normally using concept labels in just one (natural) language, with multilingual facility in their design and use in the context of Semantic Web applications, supporting both the semantic annotation of textual documents with multilingual ontology labels and ontology extraction from multilingual text sources

Recent assessments have found that racial and ethnic minorities have less political knowledge compared to Whites. But could this be due to the way that questions are asked rather than a true knowledge gap? Efrén Pérez tests this theory by providing a richer set of political questions to Whites and Latinos, which include Latino-themed questions. He finds that when unbiased questions are used, the knowledge gap between the two groups disappears
