Dynamics of EHD Laminar Plumes: scaling analysis and integral model

In this paper electrohydrodynamic (EHD) plumes are examined in the region far from the injecting electrode and the collector plate, for both two-dimensional and axisymmetric geometries. The relative importance of the conduction mechanisms (convection, drift and diffusion of electric charge) is analyzed. Diffusion turns out to be negligible compared to convection and drift for the experimental conditions. But the transverse drift (Coulomb repulsion) is of the same order of magnitude than convection. We find a set of three differential equations giving the evolution of the velocity at the center of the plume and the widths of the plume and the charged core inside.Ministerio de Ciencia y Tecnología PB96-137

DESIGN CRITERIA FOR SOCCER FOOTWEAR ON EARTH PITCHES

The footwear used for soccer practise on earth pitches requires different characteristics from the one used on other surfaces. There are no studies focussed on this type of footwear. The study presented has two main objectives; on the one hand knowing the problems related to the footwear used nowadays on earth pitches and on the other hand, generate suitable criteria for this type of footwear. User panels and surveys about epidemiology were carried out. The comfort perceived by footballers with different footwear models was valued, as well as the analysis of the plantar pressures in this footwear using the plantar pressures measuring equipment Biofoot/IBV. The results allowed to identify the most valuable aspects of this footwear; sprain of ankle and knee are the most frequent injuries, and the 1st and 5th metatarsian are the zones that undergo the highest magnitude of pressures with the analysed soccer footwear for earth pitches

La asignatura de Planificación de Sistemas Informáticos en Ingeniería Técnica en Informática de Gestión

El presente trabajo pretende mostrar el programa de la asignatura Planificación de Sistemas Informáticos dentro de los estudios de Ingeniero Técnico en Informática de Gestión de la Universidad de Jaén. Se presenta primero la justificación del enfoque propuesto para la asignatura, los programas de teoría y prácticas, y su distribución temporal para asegurar la correcta coordinación temporal entre ambos programas

POLÍTICA EDUCACIONAL Y FORMACIÓN LABORAL

The paper deals with the historic evolution of educational policies. It studies key pedagogues of the end of the 18th Century and beginnings of the 20th: José Austin Caballero, Félix Varela, José de la Luz y Caballero. Martí is central to this analysis too, as well as his followers during the Republican period. Special attention is given to these policies from 1959 to the present day. A proposal is made with a three-moment periodization related to the educational revolutions in Cuba, based on the regulation documents of the Cuban educational policy, with emphasis on the legislative body in charge of organizing teaching in the country. Alongside is analyzed professional formation, opening with a study of the influence of European thinkers on the schools of the territory, and closing with a deep look at the implementation of Marti’s ideas and the Marxist-Leninist principle of linking study and work.  En el presente trabajo se abordó la evolución histórica de la política educacional. Partiendo de los más importantes pedagogos de fines de siglo XVIII y comienzo de la siguiente centuria: José Agustín Caballero, Félix Varela y José de la Luz y Caballero. También en estos antecedentes fueron ubicadas las doctrinas martianas y las contribuciones de sus continuadores en la etapa republicana. Se dedicó especial atención a esta política después del período comprendido entre 1959 y la actualidad. Presentándose una propuesta de periodización con tres momentos vinculados a las Revoluciones Educacionales en Cuba. Para ello fueron examinados los principales documentos normativos de la política educacional cubana. Enfatizando en el cuerpo legislativo que dedica su oficio a organizar la enseñanza en la Isla. Paralelamente fue analizada la presencia de la formación laboral. Utilizando, en las página iniciales, un prismas de la influencia de pensadores europeos en las escuelas de nuestro territorio. Luego se observó detenidamente la presencia del principio marxista-leninista y martiano de la vinculación del estudio con el trabajo

Perspectiva fenomenográfica de las concepciones del aprendizaje

[Resumen] El estudio que aquí presentamos, siguiendo una perspectiva fenomenográfica, describe las concepciones de aprendizaje de estudiantes de 9.° (14.6 años de media), 12.° (17.5 años de media) cursos y 4.° de curso de la Licenciatura en Formación de Profesorado (22.4 años de media). Los datos fueron obtenidos a través de entrevistas semi-estructuradas utilizando procedimientos de análisis cualitativos y cuantitativos. Los principales objetivos del trabajo son, por una parte, la exploración de las diversas concepciones de aprendizaje de los estudiantes y su estructura y, por otra, las semejanzas y diferencias entre las concepciones procedentes de los alumnos de diferentes cursos. Los datos obtenidos muestran que la conceptualización de los estudiantes sobre el aprender se estructura en relación a tres ejes respecto del fenómeno de aprendizaje: "qué es aprender", "cómo se aprende" y "valor del aprendizaje". Se discuten sus implicaciones para el aprendizaje y organización del sistema educativo[Abstract] The aim of this study is to describe the leaming conceptions of students from the 9th grade,12th grade and the fourth year of a university degree from a phenomenographic perspective. The data was obtained via semi-structured interviews which were analysed by means of qualitative and quantitive procedures. The main objetives refer to the mapping of the various conceptions of students and their structure, as well as the similarities and differences between the conceptions of the different academic years. The results obtained show that the students' conceptions ofleaming were based on three major aspects of the learning phenomenon: one referring to what learning is, another to how we leam and finally to the value ofleaming. Implications for leaming and educational system are discussed

La formación del profesorado de Educación Infantil y Primaria en el marco del EEES

Updating of the educational methodology to build the European Higher Education Area stands as a key goal to the Spanish universities. In the case of primary and kindergarten teacher training was necessary to design qualifications as the teacher's professional profile and identify the skills that make up that profile. The present work illustrates an example of this situation with a specific case of this new training carried out in the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education at the University of Oviedo. Firstly the structure of the new undergraduate degrees in teacher training is described followed by a description of management and structural aspects. The implications of the change lead us to think about the chance to improve the training of future primary and kindergarten teacher.En el proceso de construcción del Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior la renovación de la metodología educativa se erige como un foco clave y fundamental para toda la Universidad española. En el caso de la Formación del Profesorado de Infantil y Primaria fue necesario el diseño de las titulaciones conforme al perfil profesional del maestro y determinar las competencias que dicho perfil integra. En el presente trabajo, se ejemplifica esta necesidad con un caso concreto de esta nueva formación en la recientemente creada Facultad de Formación del Profesorado y Educación de la Universidad de Oviedo. El objetivo se centró en describir primeramente, la estructura de las nuevas titulaciones de grado de la formación del profesorado, seguido de una descripción de aspectos de gestión, estructurales, etc., que acompañaron la transformación de los estudios. Las implicaciones derivadas del cambio producido, nos llevan a pensar en las posibilidades de mejora en la formación de los futuros maestros de infantil y primaria
