El proyecto PP PAS es una iniciativa que busca impactar a los habitantes de las comunas 14, 15 y 21 y de manera indirecta a las comunidades restantes de la ciudad de Santiago de Cali, además de proporcionar productos y servicios de los cuales serán todos beneficiados respecto a la disminución de los indicadores de afectaciones derivadas de la informalidad e ilegalidad. El objeto principal es solucionar las necesidades básicas de las comunidades carentes, de manera permanente y con la calidad pertinente. Se asegurará la mano de obra apropiada, se construirá infraestructura para la producción y comercialización, se negociarán y contratarán las materias primas optimas y se desplegará redes de suministro masivo a domicilio para satisfacer plenamente a los mercados primarios y secundarios.The PP PAS project is an initiative that seeks to impact the inhabitants of communes 14, 15 and 21 and indirectly to the remaining communities of the city of Cali, in addition to providing products and services of which they will all benefit from the decrease in the indicators of damages derived from informality and illegality. The main objective is to solve the basic needs of the lacking communities, permanently and with the relevant quality. Appropriate labor will be ensured, infrastructure for production and commercialization will be built, optimal raw materials will be negotiated and hired, and mass supply networks will be deployed at home to fully satisfy the primary and secondary market

Multilateral benefit-sharing from digital sequence information will support both science and biodiversity conservation

Open access to sequence data is a cornerstone of biology and biodiversity research, but has created tension under the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD). The Research Journey as a Challenge Towards New Trends

The academic community of the department of Risaralda, in its permanent interest in evidencing the results of the research processes that are carried out from the Higher Education Institutions and as a product of the VI meeting of researchers of the department of Risaralda held in November 2021 presents its work: “The journey of research as a challenge towards new trends”, which reflects the result of the latest research and advances in different lines of knowledge in Agricultural Sciences, Health Sciences, Social Sciences and Technology and Information Sciences, which seek to solve and meet the demands of the different sectors. This work would not have been possible without the help of each of the teachers, researchers and authors who presented their articles that make up each of the chapters of the book, to them our gratitude for their commitment, dedication and commitment, since their sole purpose is to contribute from the academy and science to scientific and technological development in the search for the solution of problems and thus contribute to transform the reality of our society and communities.
