Propuesta pedagógica para la formación jurídico - ambiental por competencias de los estudiantes de la Universidad Libre facultad de derecho

La monografía es el resultado de una propuesta pedagógica que se diseño con el objeto de formar a los estudiantes de la Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad Libre en competencias jurídico – ambientales partiendo de sus conocimientos, habilidades, destrezas y actitudes que deben aplicar de forma integrada a una situación real de trabajo. La propuesta parte de una fundamentación teórica desde autores como (Billorou, 2007), (Salas, 2012), y Tobón (2008) con el que se definió a una conceptualización sobre competencias. Igualmente se realizó un análisis de los diferentes modelos de competencias de autores como Le Boterf (1991), Alex (1991) y Echavarría (2002). Se adoptó el modelo propuesto por Echavarría (2002) con el objeto de definir las competencias que un profesional de derecho requiere para saber hacer (competencia metodológica), saber estar (competencia participativa) y saber ser (competencia personal). Fue necesario partir del reconocimiento y la caracterización del contexto en el cual se desarrolla el Programa de Derecho de la Universidad Libre, en los ámbitos institucional, social, político y cultural, para analizar pedagógicamente sus fortalezas y debilidades, y finalmente establecer unas competencias profesionales a fortalecer respecto a la formación jurídico-ambiental acorde con las necesidades actuales. La monografía está estructurada en una introducción y dos capítulos. El primero corresponde a la argumentación teórica de la propuesta, y el segundo a un diagnóstico y diseño de la propuesta. Finalmente unas conclusiones que determinan cuales fueron los principales logros que llevaron al diseño de la propuesta pedagógica

Lo glocal y el turismo. Nuevos paradigmas de interpretación.

El estudio del turismo se realiza desde múltiples escalas y enfoques, este libro aborda muchos temas que es necesario discutir desde diversas perspectivas; es el caso de la reflexión sobre la propia disciplina y sus conceptos, así como los asuntos específicos referidos al impacto territorial, los tipos de turismo, las cuestiones ambientales, el tema de la pobreza, la competitividad, las políticas públicas, el papel de las universidades, las áreas naturales protegidas, la sustentabilidad, la cultura, el desarrollo, la seguridad, todos temas centrales documentados y expuestos con originalidad y dominio del asunto. Lo multiescalar es básico para la comprensión del sistema turístico, sistema formado de procesos globales, regionales y locales. El eje de discusión del libro es lo glocal, esa interacción entre lo nacional y local con lo global

The Research Journey as a Challenge Towards New Trends

The academic community of the department of Risaralda, in its permanent interest in evidencing the results of the research processes that are carried out from the Higher Education Institutions and as a product of the VI meeting of researchers of the department of Risaralda held in November 2021 presents its work: “The journey of research as a challenge towards new trends”, which reflects the result of the latest research and advances in different lines of knowledge in Agricultural Sciences, Health Sciences, Social Sciences and Technology and Information Sciences, which seek to solve and meet the demands of the different sectors. Memorias de la semana de la Facultad de Educación / VI Semana: Investigaciones educativas y pedagógicas.

El presente libro, publicado en la Editorial de la Corporación Universitaria Minuto de Dios – UNIMINUTO, reúne las memorias de la VI Semana de la Facultad de Educación – FEDU “Investigaciones Educativas y Pedagógicas”, evento que se realiza cada año con el fin de intercambiar experiencias académicas, culturales y deportivas entre los estudiantes y profesores de la Facultad, con la participación de otras Universidades interesadas en compartir sus experiencias en el campo de la investigación, la cultura y el deporte. La temática para la VI Semana de la FEDU en 2016 estuvo relacionada con la investigación en torno a la educación y la pedagogía, de tal forma que los profesores y los estudiantes tuvieron la oportunidad de intercambiar experiencias desarrolladas en los proyectos y en los semilleros de investigación; además, los estudiantes y los egresados tuvieron la oportunidad de presentar los resultados de sus trabajos de grado y otros estudios productos de investigación

Evolution over Time of Ventilatory Management and Outcome of Patients with Neurologic Disease∗

OBJECTIVES: To describe the changes in ventilator management over time in patients with neurologic disease at ICU admission and to estimate factors associated with 28-day hospital mortality. DESIGN: Secondary analysis of three prospective, observational, multicenter studies. SETTING: Cohort studies conducted in 2004, 2010, and 2016. PATIENTS: Adult patients who received mechanical ventilation for more than 12 hours. INTERVENTIONS: None. MEASUREMENTS AND MAIN RESULTS: Among the 20,929 patients enrolled, we included 4,152 (20%) mechanically ventilated patients due to different neurologic diseases. Hemorrhagic stroke and brain trauma were the most common pathologies associated with the need for mechanical ventilation. Although volume-cycled ventilation remained the preferred ventilation mode, there was a significant (p < 0.001) increment in the use of pressure support ventilation. The proportion of patients receiving a protective lung ventilation strategy was increased over time: 47% in 2004, 63% in 2010, and 65% in 2016 (p < 0.001), as well as the duration of protective ventilation strategies: 406 days per 1,000 mechanical ventilation days in 2004, 523 days per 1,000 mechanical ventilation days in 2010, and 585 days per 1,000 mechanical ventilation days in 2016 (p < 0.001). There were no differences in the length of stay in the ICU, mortality in the ICU, and mortality in hospital from 2004 to 2016. Independent risk factors for 28-day mortality were age greater than 75 years, Simplified Acute Physiology Score II greater than 50, the occurrence of organ dysfunction within first 48 hours after brain injury, and specific neurologic diseases such as hemorrhagic stroke, ischemic stroke, and brain trauma. CONCLUSIONS: More lung-protective ventilatory strategies have been implemented over years in neurologic patients with no effect on pulmonary complications or on survival. We found several prognostic factors on mortality such as advanced age, the severity of the disease, organ dysfunctions, and the etiology of neurologic disease
