Results of investigation of muon fluxes of superhigh energy cosmic rays with X-ray emulsion chambers

The overall data from the investigation of the cosmic ray muon flux in the range of zenith angles (0-90) deg within the energy range (3.5 to 5.0) TeV is presented. The exposure of large X-ray emulsion chambers underground was 1200 tons. year. The data were processe using the method which was applied in the experiment Pamir and differred from the earlier applied one. The obtained value of a slope power index of the differential energy spectrum of the global muon flux is =3.7 that corresponds to the slope of the pion generation differential spectrum, gamma sub PI = 2.75 + or - .04. The analysis of the muon zenith-angular distribution showed that the contribution of rapid generation muons in the total muon flux agree the best with the value .2% and less with .7% at a 90% reliability level

Peculiarities of physical development of preschool children in Irkutsk

The article describes the assessment of the physical development (PD) of the children attending preschool educational institution kindergarten N 148 of Irkutsk. It was established that different types of deviations in development had 42.0 % of children from 3 to 7 years. Among deviations in PD of preschool children most frequently we noted high body weight at normal body length (10.1 %); also lowered (8.0 %) and low body length (9.0 %) were established. The results of the examination of Irkutsk preschool children revealed deviations of their PD parameters from normal figures towards reduction of growth and increase in body weight, and also showed that morphometric changes were more characteristic of boys

Psychological and pedagogical support for families with disabled children in medical center

Introduction. This paper exemines the quality of psychological and pedagogical support provided in special institutions for the families with disabled children. The aim is to share experience of such work in one of these institutions, medical center Bonum, located in Ekaterinburg. Based on this experience, the essence of the work is demonstrated and development perspectives are identified. Methods. A survey was conducted among parents of the children going through rehabilitation in the medical center. In total 108 parents have participated. 10 parents with children having severe health disorders gone through an in-depth interview. There were also interviewed 7 staff members, both doctors and non-medical stuff (social workers, speech therapists), participating in rehabilitation process. Results. Was indicated that the psychological and pedagogical support was not a core activity of the medical center. The employees were not ready for this kind of work. The research revealed problems occurring when adult family members learn how to help the disabled children adapt in the modern society and acquire social competences necessary to effectively communicate in common situations, i.e. at school or other public places. Conclusion. Among the parents of disabled children treated at the medical center there is a demand not only for medical services, but also for psychological care both for the children and for their parents, as well as pedagogical support. The authors came to a conclusion, that special schools are needed, where psychologists and pedagogues on a regular basis would teach parents the methods of socializing their disabled children, starting at the early age and up until the children become socially mature. © 2019 LLC Ecological Help. ‘World Will Never Be Same’: Phraseologisms during Coronavirus Pandemic

Issues related to the semantics, structure and functions of new super-word linguistic units that have come into active use during the coronavirus pandemic are considered. Particular attention is paid to the statistics of searching the Internet for a certain phrase for a month and specific digital indicators of its existence as a stable one. The novelty of the research is seen in the fact that identifies phraseologisms of the late XX — early XXI centuries, which need a full-fledged phraseographic description (origin, semantics, examples of use). Phrasemes are combined by the authors into thematic groups: 1) remote work and study, 2) administrative measures to combat coronavirus, 3) features of a new disease and its treatment. It is shown that in the texts of mass communication Phrasemes perform nominative, communicative and pragmatic functions. Investigating stable turnovers, the authors dwell upon their structure, which is represented by three models. It is noted that the result of the work will be a dictionary of phraseological neologisms, which, along with others, will include units that appeared during the coronavirus pandemic
