Import 23/07/2015Predmetom bakalárskej práce bolo vytvorenie návrhu málotriedky s knižnicou v obci Radkov. Umiestnenie objektu v rámci stavajúcej zástavby doplňuje kompozíciu a zatvára ju. The subject of this thesis was to produce a draft ungraded school with library in the village Radkov. Location of object within an existing building following composition and closes it. The draft proposal would be to use the slope terrain. The proposal put emphasis on flexibility of space. The building has two floors. The first is The educational part and second creatures library which is open towards the vegetative roof. Vegetative roof is connected to the ground on a slope. The school is designed for 20 children in the first grade of primary school, which are divided into two classes.226 - Katedra architekturyvelmi dobř

Potential impacts of clearcut logging on lake trout (salvelinus namaycush) reproduction in northwestern Ontario lakes

Lake trout reproductive habitat was characterized in three small lakes, 250 km northwest of Thunder Bay, Ontario, by measuring the physical characteristics of preferred spawning habitat including 1) depth, 2) substrate size, 3) interstitial space depth, 4) organic material abundance, 5) embeddedness, 6) particulate debris, and 7) permeability. Principal Components Analysis indicated that periphyton, macrophyte, and particulate debris abundance all increased with shoal depth, while substrate size decreased. Hydraulic permeability, indexed by the erosion of gypsum cylinders, was higher in coarser substrates. Lake trout egg deposition density in egg traps averaged 70 eggs m'2, of which 45% were viable by late fall Lake trout embryo survival and emergence in enclosures varied with Fredle Index, and was highest (75%) in cobble/rubble mixtures. Fine sediment which was added to incubators in the fall was absent when the incubators were retrieved in the spring. At the single fine sediment dosage tested in this study (equivalent to a layer approximately 2.5 cm deep across the surface of each incubator), lake trout hatching success was not significantly affected. Although experimental nutrient enrichment CP and N) of a spawning shoal increased periphyton biomass by 2.5 times over the summer, the effects of this on reproductive habitat are not known at present

Exploring the Effect of Artificial Sweeteners on Streptococcus mutans Growth and pH level

    Get PDF
This study examines S. mutans growth in broths containing one of the following artificial sweeteners: sucrose, sucralose, sorbitol, or xylitol. Using spectrophotometry and pH measurements, correlations between sweetener and colony growth could be made. Results suggest that the high growth rates of glucose and fructose are similar to that of sucrose. Contrastingly, the lowest growth rates and pH drop were noted in Xylitol. Sucrose had visible biofilm formation whereas xylitol did not. The potential correlation between high sucrose consumption and increased dental hygiene risk may invoke further studies to investigate the viability of consistent sweetener use with minimal oral detriment

This study investigated the relationship between school-based data and management of technological innovations in public secondary schools in Cross River State. One hypothesis was formulated to guide the study. Ex-post facto design was used for the study. The population of this study consisted of 232 principals out of which 210 constituted the sample and 840 teachers were drawn from a population of 5,998 using stratified random sampling technique to assess the principals. School- based Data and management of Technological Innovation Questionnaire (SBDMTIQ) was instrument used for data collection. Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation Analysis was used to test the hypothesis. Result indicated that: there is no significant positive relationship between school-based data and principals management of technological innovation. It was recommended that government should give priority attention to the provision and distribution of ICT facilities in schools so as to boost the management of innovations in schools. Keywords: Data, management, technological, innovatio
