Quadratic bounds for commutators of singular integrals with BMO functions
For commutators of the form [b,T] where T is any Calderon--Zygmund operator
and b is any BMO function we derive weighted quadratic type estimates in term
of the A1 constant of the weight both in the Lp context or of LlogL type at the

Exponential decay estimates for Singular Integral operators
The following subexponential estimate for commutators is proved |[|\{x\in Q:
|[b,T]f(x)|>tM^2f(x)\}|\leq c\,e^{-\sqrt{\alpha\, t\|b\|_{BMO}}}\, |Q|, \qquad
t>0.\] where and are absolute constants, is a
Calder\'on--Zygmund operator, is the Hardy Littlewood maximal function and
is any function supported on the cube . It is also obtained |\{x\in Q:
|f(x)-m_f(Q)|>tM_{1/4;Q}^#(f)(x) \}|\le c\, e^{-\alpha\,t}|Q|,\qquad t>0,
where is the median value of on the cube and M_{1/4;Q}^# is
Str\"omberg's local sharp maximal function. As a consequence it is derived
Karagulyan's estimate improving Buckley's theorem. A completely different
approach is used based on a combination of "Lerner's formula" with some special
weighted estimates of Coifman-Fefferman obtained via Rubio de Francia's
algorithm. The method is flexible enough to derive similar estimates for other
operators such as multilinear Calder\'on--Zygmund operators, dyadic and
continuous square functions and vector valued extensions of both maximal
functions and Calder\'on--Zygmund operators. On each case, will be replaced
by a suitable maximal operator.Comment: To appear in Mathematische Annale
Latitudinal variation of foF2 hysteresis of solar cycles 20, 21 and 22 and its application to the analysis of long-term trends
F2 monthly median values for equinoctial months of solar cycles 20, 21 and 22, were analyzed for 37 worldwide stations. For each solar cycle and for a given , the difference between F2 in the falling branch of the cycle and the corresponding value of the rising branch is evaluated. The maximum difference, considered as the hysteresis magnitude, varies systematically with geomagnetic latitude. The pattern is similar for every cycle, with greater hysteresis magnitudes for stronger solar cycles. It is positive between 45S and 45N, with minimum values at equatorial latitudes and maximum at around 25-30 on either side of the equator. For latitudes greater than 50 negative values are observed. At around 25?30 and at high latitudes the hysteresis magnitude reaches 2MHz for solar cycle with high activity levels, which represents around 20% of F2. The effects of F2 hysteresis on the analysis of long-term data sequences is analyzed. In the case of long-term trend analysis, the hysteresis behavior may induce spurious trends as a consequence of the filtering processes applied to F2 time series previous to trend values estimation. This problem may be solved by considering time series covering several solar cycles.
Burnout is a phenomenon that has been object of study during the last decades, reaching a consensus regarding the
three dimensions which comprise it: emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and sense of ineffectiveness. Burnout has
a high prevalence in those professions that involve continuous contact with human suffering, for example, healthcare
professionals. According to the need to define burnout as a mutual relationship between environmental and personal factors, and the implication of this phenomena in three levels of response (cognitive, physical, and behavioral), we propose
a definition of burnout as experiential avoidance or psychological inflexibility, behavior aimed to avoid private events
presented in some work circumstances, and its approach from a functional-contextual perspective such as Acceptance
and Commitment Therapy (ACT). In this paper, a non-systematized bibliographic review is carried out, presenting
different correlation and experimental investigations that justify the definition of burnout as psychological inflexibility.
The paper ends with two brief proposals of intervention that try to solve the limitations of previous research, such as
the lack of follow-up sessions
