Violence and language : reflections on Emanuele Severino’s work
The author examines thoroughly a basic problem of Emanuele Severino metaphysics: the implicit connection between violence and language. He analyzes several important distinctions, but he specially emphasizes the main aspects of his work, such as the will to power, the metaphysics as place of nihilism or the Plato’s word that takes to the light the sense of the thing on having put it as an epamphote- rízein. The author concludes that in Severino’s thought violence and language are mixed up in the common substratum from which our civilization rises

The present article focuses in the development of the figure of the religion in the context of the Phenomenology of the Spirit. From Big Brother to Big Data: reflections on Im Schwarm. Ansichten des Digitalen by Byung-Chul Han
Ansichten des Digitalen Byung-Chul Han examines the current mismatch between the new requirements of the information society and the reification that power structures produce. The digital revolution operates a radical ontic disassociation by transforming the different forms of human grouping into a crowd or swarm incapable of articulating a solid common action over time. In this reflections I try, first, to explain the central aspects of Han’s work, then to critically review some of his postulates and finally to examine the Spanish translation published by Herder in 2014

The critique of scientific and philosophical specialization: reflections on the work of Karl R. Popper
Popper was strongly critical towards the process of specialization that has affected the sciences and philosophy, process interpreted by Popper as a sign of post-rationalism and post-critical era: along with the intellectual fashions and recourse to authorities, specialization is seriously threatening the knowledge. To analyse the causes that have led to increasing specialization of the sciences and philosophy is the main aim of this study. It is also provide a path inspired by Popper to overcome the margins of specialization.
The democratic war-State: an approach to the thinking of Santiago López Petit
atributos del Estado Absoluto y lleva a cabo una efectiva interpretación de la realidadThe new World-State, arising from what Santiago López Petit has been calling The
September 11th Event, is obsessed with the establishment of security and order. The
establishment of security and order happens nevertheless through the transformation of the
State into a War-State, uniquely legitimized to use organized violence. According to
Santiago López Petit, this transformation will only be possible if the state re-theologizes
itself, acquiring the attributes of an Absolute State and developing a successful
interpretation of realit
