This study examined internet service quality and its effects on customers’ satisfaction in University of Ilorin, Nigeria. The objective of this study was to find out the awareness, technical difficulty and perception of internet users in the university. Questionnaire was the major instrument used to gather relevant data. Data were collected from respondents from ten faculties, including 60 academic staff, 40 non-academic staff and 100 students making a total of 200. Four research questions were formulated for the study and percentage was used to analyze the data. The results from the research indicated that: 91.6% of the academic staff, 95% of non- academic staff and 75.5% of students testified to the fact that internet services were available in the university.53.3% of the academic staff, 60% on non-academic staff and 85.7% of students also stated that inadequate or insufficient bandwidth and poor electricity were part of the challenges that hinders the effective usage of internet. Based on the problems encountered, 58.3% of academic staff, 52.5% of non- academic staff and 65% of students were not satisfied with the internet service quality they enjoyed.65% of academic staff, 60% of non- academic staff and 50% of students reacted positively to the fact that the quality of its service delivery would be granted if improved.Based on the findings of the study, it was recommended amongst others, that the university should improve on the quality of their interaction with the customers to alleviate their apprehensions about more bandwidth, internet training and constant electricity. These will allow for satisfaction and retention of customers and optimize their limited resources. Keywords: Assessment, Internet service quality, Customers’ satisfactio

PCOS in the Southern United States: A Socio-Ecological Model Intervention

The second verse of 3rd John emphasizes the importance of prospering in our health even as our soul prospers. When so many diseases and complications plague the body, it impairs the quality of life and contradicts the will and purpose of God which is for us to enjoy good health continually. God desires the well-being of the whole person—body, soul, and spirit. This aligns with the biblical concept that humans are created in the image of God and that God\u27s original plan for humanity included physical health and harmony. Believers need to care for their bodies, recognizing them as temples of the Holy Spirit. This involves adopting healthy lifestyle choices, such as proper nutrition, exercise, and adequate rest. It is our responsibility as public health professionals and representatives of Christ to raise awareness about the underdiagnosed disease called PCOS, educate women about the risk factors and the mental implications, and stand up for those who are unable to speak for themselves to stop stigmatizing women with PCOS. I have been called to a life of service-centered leadership. By identifying the harm that environmental toxins may cause to reproductive-age women, the mental implications as well as the associated stigmatization with evidence to support my claim, I will be empowered to create awareness and advocate for lasting and sustainable change. This initiative will help improve the quality of life and reduce morbidity and stigmatization associated with polycystic ovarian syndrome which is a common cause of infertility among reproductive-age women globally

Feed conversion, protein efficiency, digestibility and growth performance of Oreochromis niloticus fed Delonix regia seed meal

Oreochromis niloticus fingerlings (mean weight 5.27~c0.29g) were fed raw and boiled Delonix regia seed meals following standard procedures. The weight gain, specific growth rate (SGR), feed conversion ratio (FCR), protein efficiency ratio (PER), net protein utilization (NPU) were determined as growth indices. Diet formulated with seed boiled for 80 minutes showed significantly (P<0.05) high values for the growth indices. Carcass nutrients composition were significantly (P<0.05) higher than in the control (raw) diet. Delonix regia seed meal when boiled has high potential of being utilized efficiently by O.niloticus. The implications of the respective index in fish metabolism are discusse

Computer and related technologies provide powerful tools to meet the new challenges of designing and implementing assessments methods that go beyond the conventional practices. With the growing population of students in most Nigerian Universities, there is need for the use of Computer-Based Test (CBT) for assessment. CBT has long been regarded as a potentially powerful asset for providing assessment. The successes of transition from Paper-Based Test (PBT) to CBT in Nigerian universities prompted this study to investigate students perceptions in this field based on a survey study underpinned by the modified Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) as the research framework. The study is descriptive and the factors that can predict acceptance of CBT for examination in the Nigerian Universities was investigated in a survey study involving 1506 students. The dimensions used in the study were Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU), Perceived Usefulness (PU) and Perceived Credibility (PC). The three dimensions envisage the use of CBT. The study revealed amongst others that the usefulness, ease of use and credibility are important in the’ use of computer-based test in Nigerian universities. Based on the result, it was recommended that students’ gender and field of study be considered in the use of CBT

The integrating of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) and Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM) in Early Childhood Education in developing countries has proved to be a workable strategy in enhancing inclusive and equitable quality education and lifelong opportunities for all (SDG 4) towards achieving Sustainable Development Agenda by the year 2030.This paper presents a critical review of early childhood education in Africa, its impacts, benefits, challenges and plausible remedies. Theoretical frameworks in use were x-rayed with basic characteristics and types of pedagogical tools highlighted. A firsthand experience of non-formal, community-linked and integrated approaches, STEM Play cycle and Culturo-Techno-Contextual Approach (CTCA) to STEM and STEAM education at childhood stage was carried out in Ekiti State, a rural –urban setting in densely populated Nigeria for this case study research. The role of culture and influence of environment in learning were showcased

This paper considers the use of Real Option Approach (ROA) to value an oil field project. The Geometric Brownian Motion and the classic Black-Schole2019;s model is used to obtain the value of the fair price (option value F). We show that ROA is an invaluable tool in decision making in situations where investment involves high risk and uncertainty

Assessing the collaborative knowledge management of the market dominant organization

Dominant firms enjoy economic strengths which enable them to compete effectively in relevant markets through the use of collaborative knowledge management (CKM). While the literature is replete with general guiding principles for companies to adopt successful business strategies, there is very limited empirical research on effectively using CKM to improve company performance and market domination. The purpose of this study was to evaluate strategies for information sharing by companies to achieve better operations management and control, a wider range of customers, and stronger competitive edge in the global economy. Epistemological foundation for the study was provided by the literature on knowledge management and organizational dynamics. Data were collected by an electronically self-administered questionnaire on a convenience sample of 80 employees of three small businesses in Memphis, Tennessee. A quantitative method using Poisson regression was applied to test the hypotheses about relationships between six independent variables of value proposition, culture building, responsibilities, information technology, approaches and assessment and the dependent variable, collaborative knowledge management. Results indicate that value proposition, information technology, and building an organizational culture of responsibilities and best practices play significant roles in effective CKM. Social change implications of the study suggest that high-intensity collaborative knowledge management would produce creative leaders and workers, improved leader-worker collaboration, and more effective use of information technologies in organizational intelligence and decision making
