    Pengembangan Instrumen Musik Sebagai Sarana Terapi Anak ADHD

    ADHD adalah kelainan yang cukup sering terjadi di Indonesia. Terapi musik adalah terapi yang menggunakan rangsangan suara untuk meningkatkan kualitas fisik dan mental anak. Konsistensi terapi pada anak dengan ADHD sangat bergantung pada orangtua yang juga berperan sebagai terapis bagi anaknya. Proyek ini mengembangkan sarana terapi yang dapat membantu konsistensi terapi, baik dengan dampingan terapis maupun orangtua, dengan menggunakan permainan cahaya interaktif dan suara untuk menarik perhatian anak dan mencegah kebosanan anak ketika melakukan terapi. Diharapkan bahwa produk yang didesain dapat menunjang terjadinya konsistensi terapi, memaksimalkan hasil dari terapi untuk anak ADHD agar memiliki tingkat konsentrasi yang baik.// /

    The Eco Office Approach to Achieving Enviromentally Friendly Offices

    The current level of environmental damage has become a global problem. Office buildings have many activities that require a lot of energy consumption, including water and electricity. They also produced a lot of waste which harms the environment. Overcoming this environmental problem requires cooperation from all elements of society, especially academics in universities who act as the scientific community. The Eco Campus/Eco-Office program is the solution that is applicable in overcoming problems in the campus’s environment. This study aims to develop a design for implementing the Eco-Office at the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Islam Bandung (UNISBA). The method used is a descriptive qualitative method using observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. The results of this study were in the form of alternative and technical strategies. These alternative strategies included policy documents, standard operating procedures (SOP) for Eco-Office, and the formation of a special team to handle the Eco Office and routine outreach at the Faculty of Engineering, UNISBA. The technical strategies based on the existing conditions were energy efficiency (water and electricity), waste management, reducing the usage of papers, and maintaining office sanitation.     Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pengeluaran rumah tangga petani. Pengumpulan data primer secara acak dilakukan pada bulan Maret sampai Mei 2016 dengan mewawancara sebanyak 60 petani responden pada 6 desa sebagai perwakilan dari Kabupaten Banyuasin di Sumatera Selatan. Analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi.Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pengeluaran rumah tangga petani berpengaruh positif, terhadap pendapatan rumah tangga petani, jumlah keluarga dan peremajaan karet dan pengaruh negatif terhadap tabungan rumah tangga, pendidikan formal dan pengeluaran konsumsi

    Dengan semakin banyaknya USAha makanan berdiri dan hampir semuanya dipenuhi pengunjung, menyebabkan semakin banyaknya pengusaha yang mulai menekuni bisnis makanan mulai dari tempat makan sederhana hingga mewah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh bauran pemasaran (produk, harga, tempat dan proses) terhadap minat beli ulang konsumen pada Warung Bu Darmi Siwalankerto Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif eksplanatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh pengaruh yang signifikan pada bauran pemasaran produk, harga, tempat dan proses terhadap minat beli ulang konsumen. Bauran pemasaran produk berpengaruh dominan terhadap minat beli ulang konsumen pada Warung Bu Darmi Siwalankerto Surabaya

    Early and Late Postnatal Myocardial and Vascular Changes in a Protein Restriction Rat Model of Intrauterine Growth Restriction

    Intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR) is a risk factor for cardiovascular disease in later life. Early structural and functional changes in the cardiovascular system after IUGR may contribute to its pathogenesis. We tested the hypothesis that IUGR leads to primary myocardial and vascular alterations before the onset of hypertension. A rat IUGR model of maternal protein restriction during gestation was used. Dams were fed low protein (LP; casein 8.4%) or isocaloric normal protein diet (NP; casein 17.2%). The offspring was reduced to six males per litter. Immunohistochemical and real-time PCR analyses were performed in myocardial and vascular tissue of neonates and animals at day 70 of life. In the aortas of newborn IUGR rats expression of connective tissue growth factor (CTGF) was induced 3.2-fold. At day 70 of life, the expression of collagen I was increased 5.6-fold in aortas of IUGR rats. In the hearts of neonate IUGR rats, cell proliferation was more prominent compared to controls. At day 70 the expression of osteopontin was induced 7.2-fold. A 3- to 7-fold increase in the expression of the profibrotic cytokines TGF-β and CTGF as well as of microfibrillar matrix molecules was observed. The myocardial expression and deposition of collagens was more prominent in IUGR animals compared to controls at day 70. In the low-protein diet model, IUGR leads to changes in the expression patterns of profibrotic genes and discrete structural abnormalities of vessels and hearts in adolescence, but, with the exception of CTGF, not as early as at the time of birth. Invasive and non-invasive blood pressure measurements confirmed that IUGR rats were normotensive at the time point investigated and that the changes observed occurred independently of an increased blood pressure. Hence, altered matrix composition of the vascular wall and the myocardium may predispose IUGR animals to cardiovascular disease later in life

    Noninvasive tests of vascular function and structure: Why and how to perform them

    Background Early atherosclerosis involves the endothelium of many arteries. Information about peripheral arterial anatomy and function derived from vascular imaging studies such as brachial artery reactivity (BAR) and carotid intima media thickness (IMT) may be pertinent to the coronary circulation. The prevention and early treatment of atherosclerosis is gaining more attention, and these tests might be used as indications or perhaps guides to the effectiveness of therapy, but their application in clinical practice has been limited. This review seeks to define the anatomy and pathophysiology underlying these investigations, their methodology, the significance of their Findings, and the issues that must be resolved before their application. Methods The literature on BAR and IMT is extensively reviewed, especially in relation to clinical use. Results Abnormal flow-mediated dilation is present in atherosclerotic vessels, is associated with cardiovascular risk factors, and may be a marker of preclinical disease. Treatment of known atherosclerotic risk Factors has been shown to improve flow-mediated dilation, and some data suggest that vascular responsiveness is related to outcome. Carotid IMT is associated with cardiovascular risk factors, and increased levels can predict myocardial infarction and stroke. Aggressive risk factor management can decrease IMT. Conclusions BAR and IMT ate functional and structural markers of the atherosclerotic process. The clinical use of BAR has been limited by varying reproducibility and the influence by exogenous factors, but IMT exhibits less variability. A desirable next step in the development of BAR and IMT as useful clinical tools would be to show an association of improvement in response to treatment with improvement in prognosis
