    The purpose of this research is to determine the condition of peer students FKIP Untan Economic Education, To know the student lifestyle FKIP Untan Economic Education, to know how big the influence of peers on student lifestyle FKIP Untan Economic Education. This research uses descriptive method, the sample in this study was 60 students. Data collection techniques used are direct communication technique, indirect communication techniques and documentary study technique, while the data collection tool using interview guides, questionnaires and paperwork documentation. Of data processing through product moment correlation calculation peers on lifestyle shows r count is greater than the table r 0.362 0.254. And there is a coefficient of determination of 11.6 % and 88.4 % at spiking variables - other variables. From simple regression analysis Y=20.632+644X

    Perempuan merupakan sumber daya yang tidak kalah pentingnya dengan tenaga kerja pria. Perempuan memberikan sumbangan yang besar bagi kelangsungan perekonomian dan kesejahteraan rumah tangga serta masyarakat. Salah satu kawasan pengembangan perikanan, di kota Bitung memiliki banyak Perusahaan perikanan yang bergerak dibidang pengalengan ikan. Tenaga kerja dalam Perusahaan pengalengan kota Bitung tidak hanya mencakup kaum pria saja, akan tetapi kaum perempuan juga. Perempuan sesungguhnya merupakan sumber daya ekonomi yang tidak kalah pentingnya dibandingkan dengan pria. Keberadaan perempuan dalam rumah tangga bukan sekedar sebagai pelengkap fungsi reproduksi saja, namun lebih dari itu perempuan terbukti memberikan sumbangan yang besar bagi kelangsungan ekonomi dan kesejateraan rumah tangga serta masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan dasar penelitian studi kasus dengan pendekatan survey, yang dilakukan dengan cara sampling acak sederhana dan yang menjadi populasi yaitu karyawan perempuan yang ada di PT. Delta Pasific Indotuna. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa data primer yaitu data yang dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dengan menggunakan kuisioner serta pengamat langsung dan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari instansi-instansi yang dapat dapat menyediakan data untuk penelitian ini antara lain : Dinas Perikanan Sulawesi Utara, Dinas Perikanan kota Bitung serta hasil dari searching internet. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis kualitatif dan analisis kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian terkait peranan perempuan dalam rantai nilai ikan kaleng di PT. Delta Pasific Indotuna memberikan informasi bahwa peranan terbesar perempuan terdapat pada kegiatan Beheading, Skinning dan Loinning. Alasannya karena pada ketiga kegiatan ini sangat dituntut ketelitian tinggi yang sulit untuk dilakukan oleh laki-laki. Peran perempuan yang paling sedikit terdapat pada kegiatan cooling, kegiatan ini dinilai sulit untuk dilakukan oleh perempuan karena resiko dari pekerjaanya yang cukup tinggi

    The effect of different substrates on oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) spawn growth

    The study aimed to find alternative substrates for growing spawn of oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus). The experiment was laid out in a completely randomized design with three compositions of substrates. The substrate compositions were: (1) Substrate A (corn 100%), (2) Substrate B (corn and sawdust mix in a ratio of (1:1, v/v)), and (3) Substrate C (corn and sawdust mix in a ratio of (3:1, v/v)). All compositions were replicated 18 times. The complete colonization (days) and mycelium growth rate (cm day-1) were recorded. Means were analyzed by Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and duncan test was performed if there were significant between the substrate compositions. The results showed that substrate C was the best substrate indicated with the fastest complete colonization of 14.17±0.92 and the highest growth rate of 0.85±0.06 cm day-1

    Influence of urea fertilizer applied with polyacrylate polymer, zeolite and Mimba on growth maize

    This research was carried out to study the growth of maize fertilized with a composite of urea with slow release materials (polyacrylate polymer and zeolite) and nitrification inhibitors, Mimba (Azadirachta indica). Three times repetitions of Randomized Block design was used in this study. The parameters observed included biomass (g), the weight of cobs (g) and the length of cobs (cm). The weight and the length of corn cobs were measured after harvest. The result of the study shows that the growth of maize applied with urea fertilizer composited with polymeric polyacrylate, zeolite and Mimba was significantly different from the negative control (KH2PO4/Mono potassium phosphate) fertilizer and appeared to be significantly better than the positive control (Urea and KH2PO4 fertilizers)

    Effect of application of algae sargassum sp. extract to corn plants ( Zea mays L.) and microbial response

    International audienceThis study aims to determine the effect of the application of algae Sargassum sp. extract on the growth of corn plants (Zea mays L.) and the response of soil microbes through the use of the Randomized Group Design (RGD) consisting of 3 repeats. The algae Sargassum sp. extract had 3 concentrations namely algae 30%, algae 60% and algae 90%. Then the algae Sargassum sp. extract was applied to the corn plants (Zea mays. L.) by being poured on the soil. Observation parameters stalk circumference (cm), leaf nitrogen content (%), stalk and leaf biomass (grams), cob weight (grams), husked cob weight (grams), cob length (cm), cob diameter (cm), soil bacteria colonies and soil fungi. The use of algae extracts improved the quality and quantity of corn growth using analysis of variances (F-test/ANOVA) with a confidence level of α = 0,05%. This was followed by analysis with the Duncan test using SPSS Statistics program version 22. The research results showed the application of algae Sargassum sp. extract on corn plants had a significant effect on stalk and leaf vegetative biomass, cob weight, husked cob weight, cob length and cob diameter, but did not have a significant effect on corn plant height, stalk circumference, leaf nitrogen content, soil bacteria colonies and soil fungi colonies. Even though there was not a significant effect, but quantitatively the corn plant growth with alga 30%, alga 60% and alga 90% treatments tended to be better than control
